Great location and great hours! This heb is huge, YUGE! The store is very clean and get have everything you can need! There is also a gas station there. The have a huge deli, huge bakery, extremely big meat area. They literally have anything and everything you could need or want. The my hours are great. I believe from 6am to 12am. They also carry my favorite cherries, hood river Cherries . They are conveniently located off the freeway. They have tons of home made baked goods. I saw some really good looking desserts there lol. I will definitely go there again next time I am in the area. Heb prices are always better than Kroger, Randalls and most competitors. They also have very fresh meat! If you like sushi they make fresh sushi there as well. Lots of options at this location. read more

Pros: The location is convenient. It's a big store with a lot more options than other locations. Cons: You really need to watch the expiration dates on the products at this location. The parking lot is not designed well. The layout, amount of traffic, and then all the products they lay along the front of the store makes it almost like a gauntlet to get to the doors. read more

A few days ago, I was shopping at this HEB. Since I don't normally shop at this HEB, I did not know where the self checkout entry was. I stood in another spot waiting for an empty register. Unknown to me till I looked around and saw people in another spot waiting. The employee in this area never smiled or said one word to me to let me know I was standing in the wrong spot. If you want a horrible shopping experience come to this store! I went to pick up a prescription and was insulted by both the tech and pharmacist. I went to customer service to speak with the store manager, let me tell you the girl behind the counter as nice as she was didn't even know who the manager was. She called up some idiot 20 something who also insulted me, and when I finally spoke to the general manager, he could have cared less that his employees are rude! I called up the corporate office, and got a call back from a regional/district manager who didn't give a shit either and said "well mistakes happen". Since my last review has been removed I have to write a new one and give a detailed experience I've had last time. I went to get a refund by taking extra trip because cashier rang up different price from what was originally on products. Which is not the first time happened. Lady Kelly or Kimberly or whatever was not friendly and did not handle it professional. She refused to give refund in cash, but wanted my card, for some reason. Even tho I had original receipt and product. She throw a buddy toy instead of handing it. The faces of employees are never happy and bored in the business center. When my husband went to deli and asked for in house turkey he was told by older lady that its not ready and just turned to another customer, not even asking if he wants something else instead.... one customer walked out because he was tired to wait. Poor service. If employees feel measurable, they may be in a wrong place. Should not work with/ for customers. And this stupid fly in olive bar.... I can't wait for new stores like Aldi and Costco to come in our neighborhood. Maybe then this particular Heb store will start to care. I will keep shopping in Sprouts on I35 for now. read more

Most unprofessional and unfriendly staff I've encountered at a store. Was lied to and refused service by what was told me was a manager just before this freeze we've been dealing with. Then the gas station was refusing to let people get in line food at whataburger. They excuse was its blocking there store and pumps. Being that the store has been ransacked and the pumps are out of gas it doesn't seem logical. People have been without food, water, power and many other essential life things for days. Super clean and fast. The staff is among the most helpful staff I've ever encountered. There are employees always walking around with a smile asking if you need help. They always have lots of registers open so there's rarely a wait. They have a great selection. They're self serve nut station is big and has a huge variety, the bakery is wonderful and I really enjoy shopping here. They also have a nice home section with lots of farmhouse chic things and a boutique inside the store as well. read more

Subject: Gluten-free needed!!!! This is a nice HEB... if you like cardio exercise:-) they have the dairy on the opposite side of the planet from the produce... same with meat.... same with bread. You actually have to cover all 10 miles of the store to make one meal... which is why i only go here for large shopping trips if i can help it. Obviously you're going to forget something and find yourself trekking from one end of the store to the other. Its truly a work out after a long day and not something I enjoy on busy shopping weekends either. But alas, that is NOT why i have come here to review! You see, I just went straight to the Hutto website to send the grocery manager some feedback about gluten-free items, and there is no "send" button on said page of their website. So one can suggest all they want but it wont get sent! Lol Here is my note to the Grocery Mgr: In this day and age of more and more people going gluten-free I am wondering why H-E-B is not stocking more gluten-free foods???? it seems to me that you are actually taking gluten-free foods off the shelves and not replacing them with anything new - you used to have eight different selection of UDIs frozen dinners for example (now u have 4) you used to have many many more selections of frozen dinners with gluten-free options... you once had a GF lemon pound cake loaf and pumpkin pound cake loaf... you took those off the shelves... yes they were ridiculously expensive but delicious and worth it and I bought them... Wish I could zero stars. Went in to the HEB gas station off of 130 and gattis School road to purchase some paper towels and some beer. I walked up to the counter and they refused to sell me beer even though I am a legal buying age. I showed them ID and my daughter and her friend never touched the beer that I was carrying. They told me that my daughter and her friend who was with me had to show ID even though they went out to the car when there was no paper towels to purchase. Well you lost a customer HEB. You cannot require somebody to show ID that's not purchasing beer. thank you Twin liquors who was behind the HEB gas station that allowed me to purchase even though my daughter and friend were in the store with me without asking for their IDs. Also, I'm standing in the meat section the day before Memorial Day looking for brisket. They had 4 behind the counter. Myself and another guy asked if they would cut one in half for us two. While visiting family in Texas we always enjoy looking around these super stores. They carry almost everything you need to living a good life in Texas. This trip we got some "Texas Tuff" zip lock bags, candy, drugs, snacks and drinks. Amazing place. Prices seemed good. And they have a huge area devoted to ready-to-eat foods. read more

Order was correct - they didn't have one item that was listed on their website, but I was informed of this prior to our groceries being delivered. When the delivery arrived the driver asked for assistance - no problem. We assisted with bringing the items to the house. The driver then emptied her vehicle on our grass and drove off! My brother has to go to the curb to get the rest of our groceries..... I will never do the delivery option again. What if someone was wheel chair bound or disable some other manner where they couldn't help out. read more

I'm giving three stars Simply for the fact we shop here anywhere from twice a week to three times a week. We live in star ranch so obviously it's the closest grocery store. This H-E-B is ALWAYS packed. Morning, noon or night. I know this HEB generates some serious profit and yet they still try and push people to self check out. I will do it on occasion if I am in a rush but if I am shopping and have time I would rather someone check me out and bag my groceries. Don't get too excited most of the time if someone is checking you out you are still bagging your own groceries. It honestly makes no sense. My three stars is for the few cashiers we know and who know our faces, they are so kind and always make us happy to see a smiling face. I hope HEB treats them well because they are always smiling and eager to help. read more

If I could give this no star or negative stars I would. Went to pick up wine & Apple cider. Like it has happened several times before the Crispen English Brown Cider (sold as a package of 4) was stocked while the package was not properly separated making it 8 connected cans. As I did before I tell the cashier you need to swipe it twice, but actually like the double pack for easier transportation. Now what followed was what really upset me, the guy maybe Manager he hangs around there a lot, goes inspects my cart and immediately accused me of cheating while asking if he can cut them apart (yeah you stocked it that way & don't carry glue with me to glue to packs together). Based on that I asked the guy to put all of my stuff other cider, 6 bottles of wine back up as in general I don't spend money in places that treat me like crap. Oh yeah, went 4 doors down to Twin Liquors spending $250. Had to drive to Target to get the eggs & trust me if treat others like me I hope your store goes out of business. read more

Went in this morning for some items. Around 25 plus some bags of salt for water softener. Go to check out, only thing open is self checkout. There was no other lanes open. It is a pain to try and put all items on the scale. I called to inquire why and lady transferred me to the manager. The phone just rang, never picked up. This is the reason I stopped shopping at Walmart. I sure hope this store is not going the way of Walmart. read more

This heb is much like other heb's though with a better selection. Unfortunately the prices on most everything are higher. The milk itself is 1.50 more per gallon than if one goes down the street to the heb off of red bud or in the other direction to the one off of 685. Its closer to my home, but with those prices its less expensive to do curbside pickup at the other ones as I save 10.00 going to one of the other stores. I could understand small variations here and there but 2.08 vs 3.48 is a bit too much for a couple miles in either direction. read more
