I love having this HEB in Lubbock. I had bought expensive razor cartridges today. I was charged $24 but I couldn't find the cartridges when I got home. I search every bag and my car. I went back to the store. Couldn't find them at checkout counter. Spoke with Aaron. He is someone very special. He replaced my cartridges. He never questioned my integrity or honesty. I'm sold on the food but most importantly sold on customer service. I'll be a loyal customer to this organization. Something special. Well done and welcome to Lubbock. read more

This location has a very nice Curbside pickup system. The store also has a wide selection of items. The layout is a bit hard to navigate and the prices are a bit high. But, the store brand products remain superior. read more

First time visiting the store since it opened and it was a very pleasant experience, this might be my new store to shop for groceries :) Brandal & Robert in the ready meals were professional and greeted me as soon as I approached the area. I had just left the supermarket across the street and was there an hour and not once was I spoken to. Within 5 mins of visiting H-E-B Robert had me buying steak and potatoes for dinner. Brittany in the meat market answered all my questions and even got a special cut meat that wasn't on the shelves. I love this place and recommend to anybody in Lubbock, Texas. I've had a few issues with Marketstreet over the years but overall have been happy there. Lately I've been trying out the HEB for about a month now and have been overall disappointed. The self check out area is a disaster with no space to put your groceries after you scan them, I guess they expect you to limit yourself to two bags. Afterwards you're on your own getting you groceries out to the car. And don't leave a basket behind because the employees will chase you down and tell you to put it up because they "don't have any place to put it". It's the same prices, or even more than other grocery stores, with half the customer service. I'm done with HEB. read more

Since the covid started, the hubby and I have been using the curbside pick up more often. Tonight was slightly different then usual. Normally we have no issues. The person who brings out our groceries is kind and polite. Tonight I was alittle irritated. The young gentleman brought out our stuff and hit the backend of my truck with the shopping cart. I confronted him about it and he stated that he just let the cart go to rest against the truck. No that was a hit. All four of us in the truck felt it. I was pretty ticked off! read more

If a negative rating was an option it would be my choice! We have shopped weekly in the Lubbock HEB since moving here in December 2020. I am disabled with a registered support animal (picture below). He goes everywhere with me and to this store every time I do. This afternoon I was embarrassed, humiliated and treated with blatant disregard by the rudest person named Darren who claimed to be "the manager " as he told me to take my dog and leave the store. I asked "aren't service animals allowed in the store?" As I raised the ID badge to show him. He didn't look at it and continued to make a scene. We picked up JB and turned to leave. I told him "you just lost a lot of business ". His rude condescending reply "yeah whatever ". I asked his name and left the store. I just called to speak with his supervisor and 6 minutes into the call he hung up on me. Before he hung up he did share that another customer brings a parrot inside and the concern with dogs is pets pooping on the floor. There are laws in place to protect disabled persons and their service animals but apparently we are not welcome in HEB in Lubbock Tx. San Antonio needs to send someone to Lubbock to retrain Darren & Bert in Customerservice, courtesy & diplomacy or at minimum what it takes to be a decent human being! read more

I don't know why so many complaints on here. I was in Lubbock over the weekend and was excited to go in and see the new HEB. I had not been in one in several years, so I am glad to see them in Lubbock. I am moving back to Lubbock soon and look forward to shopping here. As transplants from Austin we are so excited HEB is here! We can't wait for the second location to open up closer to our home. We had great experiences both times we've gone. The gentlemen working the floral department was so nice and funny, the BBQ restaurant was delicious and clean, sushi was amazing, shelves were stocked and checkout was relatively quick for there being a million people there. We have zero complaints. Reading the complaints on here is laughable as the store is brand new and is still finding its groove. read more

The employees were super helpful and nice! Besides the fact that it's till brand new so there's a lot of people, it was relatively easy to move throughout the store and most everything I needed was in stock. There's a bunch of coupons for different items throughout the store and on their app which was nice! Would definitely recommend! read more

Was shopping to day and was made to leave with my service animal. They said she was not allowed. I was carrying her in my arms and was not disturbing any people or groceries. Other customers were loving looking at her. I have all the papers and proof but they didn't care. read more

H‑E‑B has the best meal simple selection in town. I buy everything for my parents who are older and cannot prepare meals for themselves. The steaks and lobster tail is my fathers favorite. My mom loves the meatloaf and salmon. Keep up the good work H‑E‑B read more
