I've never met nicer people than the staff at HEB. They always go above and beyond to help you, they will personally walk you over to show you where something is located, the curbside pickup people are absolutely amazing, the food, literally fabulous! The prices are great, the food is great, the people are great. No wonder Texas loves HEB!!!!

HEB Plus is a cross between a Walmart and Kroger and if you are ever in Texas a visit to HEB is a must. They offer everything TEXAS; they have the famous Whataburger ketchup, spicy ketchup and mustard. Specialty nuts such as; dill pickle trail mix, Texas heat, sweet and sassy, pizza flavored almonds, smoked jalapeno almonds, mocha almonds, churro almonds, French vanilla flavor almonds, chips, cookies, Mexican snacks and candy galore! They also have an area for proud Texans cute stuff to decorate your house with!

Why do I feel like there's one of these every other mile or so?! (Why am I complaining?!) It's bizarre enough that I've never been here considering it's the most convenient, but I found myself in dire need of a few things for some homemade cooking. Big Bro directed me to come here. I didn't believe him when he told me it was here. (I don't know why I never noticed it as often as I come through!) But what a delight to find it really does exist! There was ease finding what I needed. A little smaller than most HEB's I've been to, but nothing to complain about. They had everything I needed. Clean store overall and friendly staff. Service with a smile is always a plus. So happy to know it's here! Definitely keeping them in mind for home essentials next time I come around...

Received a rotten watermelon in my order! Very disappointed! I just switched back from Walmart giving H‑E‑B another chance. Hope you are not reserving old produce for pick up and delivery customers.

Baggers need training, it should be common sense to not bag a hot item on top of a cold refrigerator item.

Just received great service today, trying to do a return. The ambiance was great as well and let me…read moretell you why. I came in to do a return. I learned from one of the workers that any register can do a return, so I headed over to a random register. My cashier was Joe C. A young man who was on it! When I was up next, it was then that I could tell that he was new. I don't know what gave me that thought but what I found to be so great was how he wasn't shy to ask for help. He spoke to the woman at the register in front, "Excuse me, Ma'am?" And she turned right away to see what he needed and stepped in to help right away. She quickly walked him right through the process and he followed perfectly. Eventually, he still needed a manager to come and sign off something but I did get my refund. I got to my car and realized that he had forgot to scan one item so I was short and that's my fault. I started to get anxiety because the line started to get longer and I was feeling the pressure just a little bit. I debated about going back in to get the rest of my money and I began to drive off but then I remembered I brought all the items back so why shouldn't I get my FULL refund. I parked my car again and pushed forward to get out, grab my baby and head back in to get my $3 and some change back lol I sort of walked aimlessly back inside because I was hesitant to go to a register again and that's when I bumped into the manager, Ms. Brittany and she remembered me from earlier! Thank goodness! She came to the rescue and I never felt so good. I actually felt silly that I felt bad earlier. Anyways, I learned that the woman who helped Joe at the other register was Ms, Vanessa? Or Valerie? My apologies I forgot the name but I'm pretty sure her name started with a 'V.' Thank you Ma'am for helping him/us! Anyways, just based off this experience I had to make a review. They did such an amazing job and I am very pleased that I got my entire refund! I'd highly recommend this H-E-B. Sidenote: I always like their food here. I've bought the sushi, doughnuts and etc. you can always expect a sense of higher quality products here than other grocery stores.

If you can't find what you're looking for, just ask one of the employees. This grocery store is THE "go to" tiendita for all Boricuas and NewYoricans in Bell County.

Because my "second family" is Cuban and I have a great affinity for all things Cuban (not just the…read morecigars and the rums) I always have a complex about non-Cubans preparing Cuban like things. There is even a Seinfeld episode on point about this with the Dominicans rolling the crepes. If you don't believe me compare a Romeo y Julieta (DR) to a real one, or any of the other cigar companies that have a DR factory with non-Cuban torcedores to one from the motherland. With the limited reviews of this joint on yelp I was having to read between the lines that the ladies preparing the food were probably not authentic Cubans. But based on the very favorable four to five star reviews of the Cuban sandwich from other yelpers, they seemed to know how to put in work on the gentlesir's favourite panini type class of sandwich so I was sold on giving it the olde "college try" since the prices seemed quite reasonable and I needed to submit receipts for travel reimbursement to my organization that were not handwritten. Just a note for yelpers - the "grocery store" part of the business is actually called Killeen Nutritional Center which has a separate yelp business page and this is the page for the to-go restaurant portion of the biz. I wandered around there for several minutes trying to find the sammich counter until I realized I was at the deli (in the grocery store) and the girl behind the deli counter was actively ignoring me. So I spotted the door behind the registers the other way and walked into the sammich place I wanted to be in. They could really use a sign or something, or workers that will acknowledge your existence and direct you appropriately. I actually know some spanglish so I know enough to be helpful asking where ya boy can obtain his emparedado. There is "prepared food" cafeteria style that most people dining in seemed to be getting so there is a line for that. However if you are gentlesir in for a sammich then you go straight to the register to order it there, pay for it, then you go wait for it to come out. There are also people buying the pastries out of the case at the register which are neither sammiches nor prepared cafeteria style take out, so there is some light confusion and at one time there appeared to be three separate lines of people trying to get it in at the one girl working the one register at the counter. The Cuban comes with Swiss cheese, pork, ham, mustard, pickle, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo. Or if you are bi-curious: el cubano (es una balleza tambien) tiene queso suizo, pernil, jamon, mostaza, pepinillo, lechuga, tomate, cebolla, y mayonesa. Homey costs $3.35. You read that right. This is not the best Cuban I have ever had if we are being honest. It was not prepared by authentic Cubans, but they never represented that they were authentic Cubans so we have to temper expectations accordingly and especially at this price point. I have to review the sammich in accord with Antone's last non-chain outpost in the Med Centre who also was not Cuban, but they mastered the non-Cuban art of making Cuban food. I am pretty sure my order ticket they put in to the kitchen said something along the lines of me being a gringo, possibly a puta also but I will never know even though I always assume this is being said behind my back and the main reason why I learned spanglish. This thing came with a Shania Twain sized heaping of mayo. So much mayo. Goddammit I don't even like mayo, that racist stereotype has to end. Meanwhile I love mustard and that was nearly nonexistent. I also love pickles and there was little pickle to speak of. If I knew they were going to go HAM on the mayo I would have just told them to hold it entirely and slide some pickle magic into the sammich in its place - but I would have to be careful that nothing got lost in translation since sliding a pickle into something is a double entendre which we snuck past the censors, just like that lemon party joke. So that is my most useful tip I can give you for your visit, tell them to hold the mayo unless you want six pounds of it on your sammich just ruining everything and your good time. THAT IS NOT HOW A CUBANO IS SUPPOSED TO GO. The meats were extremely dry and I suppose the giant dosing of mayo was an effort to mask that desert dryness, which was exquisitely unsuccessful on me but may have worked its charm better on other diners. I put the sammich on par with Subway quality at best (especially the underwhelming tomato and lettuce quality) but not customizable at your own instruction as Subway is, so you don't need to take any responsibility for the creation of this monstrosity. This was my worst meal on my road trip through this area. However, I am still rewarding them with a three star yelp review (an #upgrayedd of stars taking into account the totality of the circumstances beyond the disappointing sammich) since unlike KMB they printed me a proper receipt I could actually use for reimbursement from my organization.

[REVIEW # 2,000! :D]…read more I'm pretty familiar with Sam's given we have one pretty close to home. So, being here and the need came up, it was a good thing it was conveniently on our way home. (It was sorta a last minute calling-and-audible thing in the car.) It was pretty crowded on a weekday afternoon, but we got lucky with parking. (Right up front!) We needed to get a few things for dinner (we were currently a dozen peeps packed in Big Bro's house for a few days) so bulk was the way to go. We found everything we needed, and with the scan and go option, checking out was at ease. We couldn't leave without making a stop at the café. Mom had her usual hotdog and drink combo, and I had my pizza and drink combo. What a bargain: less than $5 to feed us both! And it's not like they're snack sizes: they were meal sizes! FUNNY FACT: I finally found something smaller in Texas vs California. I was surprised as I expected it to be much bigger compared to the Sam's I normally go to. Great run! Good to know they're here. Will make another stop when that kinda need comes up again!

I told him that it was a different household, and he said I had to get out the store because my household got some. I told him that I didn't want to, and they told me before to line up for leftovers and there was some left. Rude manager and his workers are scalpers. I walk out and some worker trying to sell me the same stuff for double the price. I can't with those people now my cousins aren't getting nothing because those scalper workers! Also to make everything Worst I wanted to take off an adult off the membership and i told her a certain name and she take it out and then she rips my aunts/the other household's card.
