I want to start off by saying that I've been coming to this beauty supply for years. I was shopping and noticed they had perfumes. I start smelling the testers and accidentally dropped one. Well, it broke and they made me pay full price for it. I understand if it were a perfume that wasn't set as a tester but this was used for customers to sample it. It wasn't even full. I still had to pay full price. Thought it was a bit odd. I work in customer service and have never made a customer pay for an item if they made a mistake on. Nor has any other beauty stores done that. I will not be bringing my business here ever again. The prices are marked up and you can find better customer service and policies elsewhere where. read more

She so kindly confirmed she had the specific curly free tress Bohemian braid hair color I needed. She confirmed they had enough for me to come the next morning at 9:00 am. I arrived the next morning and she spoke when I walked in. Even showed me, NO walked with me to the specific location of the freetress braid hair and made sure I was comfortable and knew what I was looking for. Okay first off I'm not even from around here so I was in a bind and needed lashes. If you do your makeup and wear lashes you know your look will never feel / look complete without a pair of false lashes. They have a giant selection of lashes! A whole row! I really love coming to this beauty supply store just because of the fun and close nit environment they have. They give really great customer service and have extensive knowledge on all the products they sell. The owner are very involved with their business which I love and they come through when you need them in a quickness. Also they leave room to build a relationship with their customers and helping them save on the things they purchase. With building a relationship with their customers they gain knowledge on what us as the customers need and they provide it. They make you want o come back and shop again! I went in there looking for a topper. I was concerned about matching my hair. A sales person helped me and found a pony tail that she claimed was a good match. When I was home, I tried it on and it did not match. I went back to the store to exchange it two days later. I was first told there was a no return policy. This was not displayed in the store on on the receipt. Then I was told it was because I had taken it out of the box and tried it on. It still had a tag on it. I had not worn it. I have been shopping at this beauty supply store for over 12 years. I've never had a bad experience with customer service. Today was the first day and it was with a white woman that has recently started working there. I was standing in line waiting for my product that I purchased and she rudely asked me and my children to move to the side so she could check out the next people. The problem is we were not finished with our transaction I hadn't received the way that I purchased the receipt it wasn't in the bag or anything. She was just downright rude.! Cleanly place, everything is stocked. People are kind and willing to help if you have any questions. Prices are like a typical beauty supply. Hands down the best selection around. I have visited four times in as many months, and I am always greeted with a smile and knowledgeable, friendly staff. The busy days are handled well by the staff, with no sense of being rushed. The selection is amazing as well, so plan on staying a bit longer than you plan. I'm amazed at some of the reviews of H Beauty Supply. This place has a lot of supplies if that is what you are looking for. But as far as selection of hair and extensions if fails. On my visit for hair for weaving I was not able to find what I was looking for, Que by Milky Way brand,nor was there any other line of hair for a substitute, not even in a wig. As I was there for quite a while and several other ladies came in and also found nothing to there liking. They have a lot of hair, old and dated, but a great deal of products which is what I ended up purchasing since I drove a distance to get there. read more

Once I entered the store, there was 3 ladies sitting at the counter and not one of them spoke. I was browsing and came to get 6 packs of braiding hair. Before I made it over to the braiding hair, I saw a pair of earrings, a bonnet, and a scarf that I asked to put on the counter(mind you I was the only customer in the store) one of the ladies behind the counter said "don't pile up too much on the counter" but I was confused because I only had 3 items on the counter, none the less....IM NOT A CHILD and I found that statement to be rude. I mean who wouldn't want me to pile up items on the counter because that clearly means your establishment is making money from me......right?? I ask where the braiding hair is and come back to the counter to pay and notice my 3 items were in a basket in front of the counter on the floor. Again I was confused and by this time I was ready to walk out and leave and not give them my business. I stated that out loud and the same rude chick shrugged her shoulders and stated "I don't care" I would give this business 0 stars but you can't.
