The preparer assigned to me has moderate dementia and has difficulty remembering numbers and names from one minute to the next. She began entering a W2 from the year 2017 onto my 2021 taxes until I stopped her and took the W2 out of her hand. She submitted my taxes despite concerns I had regarding accuracy, telling me "It will probably be ok," and "No one will be looking at that." I wanted the district manager to investigate and review my tax return herself to check the errors. I called her 15 times over a 2 week period and left messages with store associates. I heard nothing back. Finally I caught her in the office and she agreed to review my taxes. She assured me she would "call me tomorrow before 5pm." It has been another 2 weeks and 10 more messages left with store associates. I am still waiting to hear.
