I love H & M and have been quite happy to travel into one of the local cities to have a look there, so when we got our own, I thought great, no need to make a special trip. The store isn't as large as other ones in the Northwest (where Liverpool is spread over a couple of floors) and everything is all on one level. I admit I'm quite disappointed with the store; they seem to have tried to cram everything from a larger store in but failed in actually having the right products. It's quite a confusing layout with ladieswear then accessories, then men's then the more trendier ladies stuff with bits off to the side for the underwear and the children's range. I feel that product selection has suffered in trying to put a bit of everything in. I saw some shoes I liked there so went to try and find them to realise that they are sporadically spread about the shop and not in a conjoined area, I don't want to waste my time hunting all over, I want to go to where the product is and spend time looking at it not for it! The jewellery and accessories section- one of my usual faves seems to be quite stale, not a lot of selection and not really anything ne coming in, an example of this is a brooch used in Gok's Fashion Fix- I spent ages popping in to try and find it and gave up. They have a very limited choice that I feel other stores don't have. I'd advise anyone to keep popping in just in case that one heavenly item comes into stock, but I think if there's a definite item I want, I'm going elsewhere. read more
