Another typical teeny bopper store. I popped in here with my cousin-in-law who was looking for a bathing suit. Employees need to do better with organizing the store. Clothes were hanging off of hangers, on the floor underneath racks, and stock was limited. I went recently to H&M to get something to wear for a date and this place sucks in fashion! They use to be so edgy and stylish and now they just plain Jane and just boring! I there was no quality and no quantity of different designs and or patterns. The Fabric was wrong for the season! Who in the hell wears wool in the 100 degree with humidity? They just did not care to put anything of quality and it looked like a army surplus store. I have seen thrift stores with better selection and quality! I have seen Naval exchanges USO have more selection! They need to get it together because this was garbage! I left without getting anything and went to old navy because I was desperate for a shirt at the very least because I had shorts I had not worn yet that I did wear in my date but it was horrible experience! Please H&M go big or go home! Nobody has time for your garbage designs that even a old lady in her 90 would not even wear! Can yelp change this star situation so I can give them a negative star??? read more

Ahh, H&M. This giant, big box fashion mega-mart can be found in malls throughout the country. Cheap and sometimes not, this place is all sunglasses and scarves and printed dresses and flannel shirts and strange sweaters. Sometimes you'll find a gem at H&M. This gem will most likely be cheap, and cheaply-ish made. (I say most likely because I got a kick ass blazer there this one time, and it's actually super solid.) That said, for the most part, I usually find myself wandering through H&M somewhat confused and usually? I end up leaving empty-handed. This place can be ridiculously overwhelming. I'm a big advocate for shopping local, but in a city that hasn't the number of independent clothiers that I'd like it to have, sometimes, you just have to hit up the mall. And sometimes, you wander into H&M hoping for a sale, or for that elusive accessory or shirt or dress that's priced right and right up your alley. It's sort of like thrift store shopping but for new clothes, honestly... and for that, I bestow upon them a two star rating. Maybe H&M just isn't my cup of tea anymore... read more

I've been to H&M in other cities and am glad we are cool enough to have one of our own here in Milwaukee! The H&M at Bayshore is big with lots of great finds. Prices are cheap and styles are very cool/European inspired. I can always find something that I love here for a great bargain. Before we had this one at Bayshore we had the Brookfield Square H&M which is good but smaller. I usually have better luck at the Bayshore location but in any case it's a great store! read more

H&M has a better clothes with the same quality as Gap and Express. BUT here the thing... its LESS EXPENSIVE!! This is the only place that I know of that you can get multiple outfits for under a hundred dollars.. okay besides the Goodwill. Need a power suit for work, something skanky to wear to the club, a breezy sundress with a tribal print, and something retro to wear to your sister's theme wedding but you only have $100? Well, H&M is the place to go... Pros: Awesome clothes at cheap to moderate prices. Definitely the most bang for your buck as far as style goes. I've never had a problem with service here either. Cons: This location can be a little disorganized sometimes, the Brookfield one tends to be better but doesn't have as large of a selection. The quality of the clothing can be inconsistent; check your garments for flaws before you buy. Also, you may have to try on more than one of an identical item to find one that fits. read more

I get the notion that this place is only for those that put on slim-fit clothes and actually look good in them. I'm definitely nowhere close to being in that group. But I do like buying V-neck t-shirts from here. Their basic wear is quite comfortable and pretty inexpensive. Even with pretty rough, daily wear and tear, their clothes hold well. As for my wife- she likes their dresses and tank-tops. This is a decent size store, and they do have a decent varieties to shop from. Depending on the time and day of the week, this place can get pretty crowded, but they do try their best to keep the lines moving. They have helpful sales associates constantly trying their best to keep all the racks and shelves organized, which is pretty commendable. This is definitely one of my favorite stores for my "casual" wardrobe! :) read more

H&M, why do you make your window displays so appealing and so trendy that I want to buy everything..although I know I'll never look like that size 2 model in the window does? Great and affordable enough to be able to change your wardrobe as the seasons change. They actually have quite a decent line of work clothes for all of the grown-ups out there. I had a great experience last time I was in an H&M. Found the perfect outfit right out of the window. I was having a hard time locating all of the pieces of my super hot night on the town outfit and it just so happens that a sales assistant was standing next to me. I asked him to help me find the bits and pieces and he led me to everything from the pants to the scarf. Went to check out, no que and I didn't end up spending a fortune. Pants, top, belt, blouse and cardigan for right around $100. The only unfortunate part of my experience is it seems that everyone that was shopping that day was my size as there were only belts left in XS or XL. Eh.The trip was still well worth it! read more

The staff at this location sucks. Rude, unpleasant. Told me - scratch that, BARKED at me - I wasn't allowed to put my very heavy school bag behind the counter while I shopped because they cannot be held responsible. Oh-kaaaay. One of the guys walking the retail floor was far more interested in texting on his cell phone than anything else. Left a security tag on a pair of jeans, now I have to make a special trip back just for that. Blech. ID was requested when I used my check card (YAY!), and by "requested" I mean the sales guy looked at me impatiently and said, "ID?!" read more

Does H & M stand for Hit or Miss?.... cause they only hit the miss part of that question. I wouldn't know how the service is, because nobody actually acknowledged that I walked into the store, past the women's clothing and checkout, and up the escalator to the 2nd floor. ... actually, I couldn't tell if the people I saw were employees or shoppers, they all looked like kids skipping school to me. Ok, so maybe I'm too old to shop at this store. I was looking for a pair of jeans that didn't look like they've been twisted into a ball and sat on for 3 days, and that actually had a waist size, not "circumference of your torso at 1 inch below pubic hairline" size. This store is alright. The quality varies and the prices are usually pretty reasonable. I've never had a sales person greet me or ask if I need help. I have found the odd gem but on lucky days, when I've taken an armload of clothes to try on, very few of them fit well. Most times I don't find anything and leave empty handed. Like Rachel said, maybe it's just not my cup of tea anymore. I'll find a few things that are *almost* there but it's boxy, or it's see-through, or a drab color. read more

Soooo I'm actually a huge fan of what I wish H&M actually was, not what it currently is. It really is hit or miss for me a lot. You can't beat their deals, I'm a huge fan during the summer because some of their tanks are $5, and I am still wearing them this winter. But a lot of the time their stuff fits weird. And could they stuff their racks any fuller?? It's so hard to see what to buy because you can hardly separate the clothing to get a good look at it. So right now, only 3 stars from me. read more

Awesomely stylish clothes on an affordable level. The quality suffers slightly on some pieces (for instance a shirt I ran through the washing machine came out with finger sized holes in them). In my opinion it's the best place to get new clothes for any season as they always pull through with something unique and stylish. There are so many gems to be found in this store! I've had many shopping sprees at the mall in which I end up coming out with several bags of only H&M gear. Super fantastic stuff! Two checkout centers too for speedy shopping. read more

While I don't frequent this store often I do stop in from time to time if I am at Bayshore. Sadly every time I do, I'm more often telling myself to never do it again. The staff seems generally negligent, absent and downright rude. Like a cafeteria of college students were just randomly handed part time jobs without a clue how to deal with customers or others in general. I walked up to a tall young man on staff (someone called him jesse?) to ask a question and was waived to go away as though I was bothering him and keeping him away from his cell phone or something equally unimportant. Next time I am at Bayshore Im tempted to find a manager there before I even bother to look at anything. I assume they have one... read more

H&M is a great place to get dress clothes cheap. It is hard to find better stuff at the price level that they are selling. Their men's clothes don't always have all the pockets, but they will at least look like they do and that is all you really need. If you are looking for a cheap suit jacket, shirt, or pants, H&M is probably the best place to get temporary items for a wardrobe. The white shirts though are a little too paper thin and the collars are far too weak for you to look serious in them though, so go somewhere else for a dress shirt if you need to be dressing business. read more

This location is awesome! I usually am a compulsive shopper and if I see something I HAVE to have I will buy it usually regardless of the cost, but here at H & M I don't have to worry about falling in love at 1st sight and then looking at the price and getting my heart broken. This store is fabulous. I always find what I'm looking for, whether if its a cardigan for work, a cute/comfy sweater for class, or a hot shirt to wear out to the bars. Its got it! 5 stars MUAH! Also every single time I've been there (which is a lot) I have always had excellent customer service. The staff is helpful and just very nice. I wouldn't go back as many times if they were as rude as what the previous reviews are because I am really sensitive to bad customer service-hello! This stores return policy is deceiving! The signs that they have posted state "Buy Now - Decide Later" however... They will only give you in store credit and they won't refund at the price you paid, even with a receipt - they will only give you the current sale price back! read more
