Steve and his crew are excellent. we used them 11 years ago for our pool deck and steps leading to…read moreour house. we rehired them to jackhammer out a pool skimmer and do additional concrete work around the pool. very skilled not to damage the skimmer and looks great with finishing off that side of the decking. the major project was a long winding front walkway incorporating the main front door and a side door and joining it into our driveway and then down to the pool. the other side they continued it down our hill creating a wall. in addition around our circle they built a wall with a cap and lights incorporated into the wall. the workmanship was superb. The cuts of all the bricks showed such skill. it took us 30 years to come up with a plan for the front and Steve and the crew did a superb job. so nice to drive up and see it when we return home. with Steve you are dealing with a true professional who is very easy to work with.never any confrontation. always willing to make any changes. I would use him again and I recommend him to friends and family.

We now have the best patio in our DC neighborhood, our drainage problems are nonexistent and we are able to host gatherings very easily with tons of fun! They provided options for a stone patio, paver patio, and a brick patio. Obviously, as you can see in the pictures, we went with the brick! We work with master gardeners and designers so we don't generally hire LJ for landscaping. The total paid to LJ including labor and supplies was approx $30,000. Many of the projects were completed to our delight, some to our satisfaction, and most recently we noticed a slip in quality. Overall we recommend LJ. And would suggest Ro anyone engaging them to walk everything down - grading, elevation, proper footing, dimensions, methods TWICE. Go over everything twice. Make sure you are on the same page and that the final intended put-through end result is CLEAR.
