Here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: It was pretty quiet since it was a Sunday around 1:00pm so there weren't a lot of folks. Our guest was handicapped and in a wheelchair so they allowed us to sit in their sunken room which has access directly from the outside. There was a lot of natural light, light woods, exposed brick and an unfinished concrete floor which gave this place a real tavern and warming feel. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but I don't recall having any issues whatsoever. Food: I started off with their wings of course! We got their South Asian Beer Sauce which was pretty decent, but reminiscent of a sweet Thai chili. However, the wings were thickly-breaded and I'm not the biggest fan of that. They were cool, but I wouldn't spin the block for them. As a side I got the steamed broccoli which actually was really good! They were al-dente and not too hard or soft with plenty of seasoning. My wife enjoyed a salmon dish with Brussels sprouts and asparagus while our friend had a grilled chicken Caesar salad. I don't remember hearing complaints from either of them. Value: My wings were $15.00 and they were of the jumbo variety, so I guess they were worth it. Side of broccoli was like $6.00 I believe, so it was a relatively inexpensive lunch. The Caesar salad with chicken was $21.00 and my wife's salmon with vegetables was $25.00. So this place isn't a cheap-eats kinda deal, but it's not terribly expensive either. In conclusion, I liked it here! It's chill, the food was decent and it was a nice place to hang out. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to check out any of their beers, but that'll be on the next go-round! Give this place a chance if you're in the area and thank you for reading!

We started with the potato croquettes and empanadas, then enjoyed the seafood paella, roasted chicken, and salmon. Every dish was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We couldn't leave without dessert, and we're so glad we didn't! The flan and churros with ice cream were absolutely delicious and the perfect ending to an amazing meal. What made the experience even more memorable was the exceptional staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm, friendly smiles and made to feel welcome. Everyone was attentive, kind, and genuinely happy to make our dining experience special. The food was fresh, made to order, and full of authentic flavor. We can't wait to visit their new location in Centerbrook, and we'll definitely be recommending Canggio to all of our friends!

I was worried we weren't going to be able to find a table, but the place was almost empty. We ordered fries and pizza. The fries were $8 and the pizza was $15. The fries were good, they were waffle fries with bacon, bleu cheese and some sort of sauce on top. The taco pizza was also delicious. The crust was very good on the pizza, which makes me want to try their other types. I think they have a lot of potential, but they need to work on some things. The space kind of seems cafeteria like - the tables aren't very nice and the kitchen is kind of in the dining room, I could see our food being made. A lot of the decor was odd, it kind of reminded me of renaissance era. When you think of a place for craft beer, the inside isn't what you expect. Overall very good, but not sure I would come back to dine in. Wish I took pictures of the inside!

We ordered two orders of fries - the old bay one and the blackened blue cheese (?) ones and literally couldn't eat them. They were soggy, VERY salty, and literally had no crisp at all to them. They tasted like they had been made two days ago and then warmed up for us on the day. We aren't usually picky either but the fries salt actually burnt my bf's tongue - you could see a red welt. It was probably the worst fries I ever got for like $6. We also got burgers that were just okay. Not amazing. Not too terrible. But nothing worth ordering ever. Maybe stick to the pies if you order and you'll have better luck than us. Giving them 2 stars because we might have just had a bad batch and their name is Pie Hops not Fry Hops (I guess). And the burgers weren't absolutely gross.
