This is the first time that we've stayed at a non hotel chain and we really didn't know what to expect but the Atlantic Hotel lived up to my expectations and then some. First of all, they are very serious about Covid-19, so when you arrive you must sanitize your hands. Check in was a breeze and they inform you that when you leave the hotel, you must drop off you room key in a box at the front desk which is actually a key!! The reason for this is that they sanitize the key each time and when you arrive back to the hotel you then pick it up. It really wasn't a hassle at at all and they remembered us so we didn't have to wait in line. They saw us and immediately would hand us our key
The decor and atmosphere of the lobby is very welcoming, cozy and spacious, after checking in you will notice a major inconvenience; the elevator is small and I mean small. It fits 3 full size adult with no luggage. The front desk offered to take our luggage up to our room but I decided to put all the luggage on the elevator, ride up and the take to the room. If you're staying on the 6th floor then know that the elevator stops at the 5th floor so you must carry your luggage the rest of the way.
Now once we got to our hotel room, it was very spacious especially for a Parisian hotel at our price range. There was a sitting area, bedroom and the bathroom was almost the same size as the bedroom. It is huge! The beds were very comfortable, the AC worked very well and every morning after we left, the housekeeping staff did an excellent job in cleaning the room, making the beds and replenishing the towels. The Atlantic Hotel is close to the metro which is about 5 minutes away and also in walking distance to many restaurants, shops, etc.
The customer service at the hotel was excellent, they were very professional, friendly, helpful and outgoing. They do serve breakfast in the morning but for the price, I would go out and get restaurant quality. I highly recommend the Atlantic Hotel for those looking to keep their budget in order to spend money elsewhere. read more
