We arrived in Paris at 8 am and to the hotel around 9 am. We asked if they had early check in and they said no but they'll try to get our room as soon as possible. We were so tired and I had barely slept but decided to explore the city. My two oldest kids stayed behind to rest in the small Lobby and my husband, one year old and I decided to walk around. We came back around 12:30 pm and we still needed to wait but thankfully we got a room at 1 pm. Now there was no elevator and we had to go up a flight of stairs with a bunch of luggage and a stroller. I think we may have had a helper but I hadn't slept in 32 hours so I can't remember. Either way, we got to the room and it was VERY SMALL. I'm not sure how we made it work but it worked because we asked if we could just stay one night and cancel the rest of the week. As our luck would have it, they said no and we were stuck there. To make our trip better, our daughters got a room 3 floors away. The elevator was sauna hot and impossible to fit more than three people or one person and more than two luggages. The room keys were huge and for some reason it was hard for our door to open and would get stuck. We always left the keys with the person in the lobby so I guess that's one less thing to worry but in this day and age, can't the doors be updated? The floors also creaked and I thought they were not even because one side of the room dipped more than the other. Bathrooms were small and dark and were open so the floor would get wet easily. Thankfully, our daughters room had a tub that we had to take our one year old in order to bathe him. Location: excellent!! everything was a walking distance and you can take the metro that pretty much takes you to all the must see places. Food: I never tried breakfast here but I did hear it in the basement. The lobby would have water but after a few days, they would run out a lot so we had to get water elsewhere. Customer Service: Workers are very nice and helpful. They offer to keep our stroller in the lobby after a couple of days of struggling with it up and down the steps. Offer us water and if we needed any information they were willing to help. Overall, I love Paris and this boutique hotel is recommended but for couples or single people. Definitely not for a family as we were all over the place and it just wasn't comfortable for us.

The morning guy wasn't the greatest with communication and made us upset more than once with his lack of communication and overall respect to us being tourists.

You absolutely cannot beat the price for a room here. The only downside is that some rooms do not come with a bathroom, thus making it somewhat hostel-esque. That being said, I looked into several options when planning my trip to Paris. Les Bains stood out for several reasons - the vibe, the history, and the price. That being said, I decided to book it for my first trip to the city. As with my other hotel reviews, I'll break this down into pros and cons - so here we go! There's a lot to like about Les Bains. I think the most impressive thing about it is the history. The space was originally a bathhouse, which then became a nightclub, and then finally a hotel. The nightclub is still functioning, being pretty famous in pop culture. The decor of the hotel overall was very tasteful - lots of high-end finishes in the lobby and restaurant area that extended into the rooms. The decor was also modeled a little after the history of the space with images of club culture in the halls. The amenities of the hotel are another plus - in addition to the club, there's a pool, a onsite restaurant/bar, room service, and a separate store across the street that sells merch. The room was also a decent size, and had large doors that opened to let in fresh air. My favorite feature in the room was the bathroom - specifically the heated floors and heated towel racks. It's something I never knew I needed until I had it - I need to explore how I can get these in my own bathroom. The location was also a plus for me, though this can be relative to what you want to do. Personally, I was able to walk most places or take the metro so I had no complaints. As far as cons, I don't have many. Like I said, the location might be less than ideal depending on what you want to do, and this may not be everyone's style of hotel. From my perspective though, this was a superior hotel and really made my first trip to Paris memorable. The room, amenities, and the staff were all top drawer, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

The property is beautiful outside, and inside the lobby it is warm, inviting, and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean, comfortable, cozy, and spacious, and the bathroom (heated floor, thank you very much) had the best shower I think I've ever used in my life - a ginormous rainforest head that felt luxurious and, honestly, gluttonous. The large tub sat unused during my stay, but looked smart. The terrace was a gift in beautiful Paris weather, with comfortable seats and lots of room for entertaining, should you happen to have 5 or 6 friends who want to visit you at your hotel. The room wasn't quite ready when they said it would be upon my arrival, so they invited me for a drink at the handsome bar off the lobby until I could go up to my room. When I finally got there, there was a complimentary bottle of champagne on ice waiting for me. The housekeepers were deft and attentive, freshening up my room before the evening, and leaving small cookies and madeleines as a treat. There was a piece of lovely stationery to write a letter on, with my name printed as if I had an office on the premises. I'm already looking forward to the next time I can stay here.

The downside was that our toilet didn't flush and we had to call to get help flushing it four times during our stay until we were moved to a different room on our last night. Aside from this, my stay at the Pullman was very nice. There's a good Italian restuarant in the lobby that serves great cocktails and delicious pizza. The breakfast buffet is also pretty good with a fresh omelet station, meats, fruits, breads, and more. There's also a grab and go cafe in teh lobby that serves coffee and light pastries. All of the staff at the Pullman were very friendly and helpful, from the front desk staff, to the bellhops, to the maintenance team. The only unfriendly person my friend and I encountered was one of the bartenders in the rooftop bar. The rooftop bar is kind of a rip-off. You pay 25 euros to enter and a drink from a small cocktail list. All of the other cocktails are also 25 euros, so why not let me pick what drink I want for my "welcome drink?" It's also kind of small on the rooftop. Pictures online make it look much bigger than it is. That being said, you do get a nice view of the Eifel Tower from the rooftop. All in all, I would recommend the Pullman, however hopefully you won't get the same room we had with the messed up toilet.

The room is air conditioned and you can control the temperature within. The shower is like rain falling over my head which I loved. No problem with water pressure or getting the right temperature. Although we stayed on the first floor I was thankful for the elevator especially after climbing hundreds of steps at Eiffel Tower, Arc of Triomphe, Sacre Coeur, and the metro. Lastly, I did enjoy their continental breakfast for 15 euro a person. It was convenient if you had an excursion to run to that day. The rotating person at the front desk was friendly and helpful when needed. I would highly recommend staying here.

We chose this hotel based on reviews from other platforms, and I'm so glad we did. There are plenty of pros and really just one small con. The area is packed with amazing food options. Almost every dinner we had was within walking distance. There is a supermarket called EPIC just a few blocks away, and I stopped in almost every night to pick up water, a few cans of beer, or a bottle of wine. The gelato shop just down the block served some of the best ice cream we had on the trip. There is also a Uniqlo and a MAC store nearby in case you need a fresh t-shirt or any electronics support. The Louvre and Notre Dame are about a 15 to 20 minute walk away, which made sightseeing super convenient. Our room was on the fifth floor. While not huge, it was a good size by Paris standards. The bed was made from two twin beds placed side by side for my husband and me. There was also a one-arm sofa, separated by a half wall, where my son slept. We stayed for eight nights and requested housekeeping twice during our stay. Each time, they did a fantastic job. One day I noticed the housekeeper in the room next to us on her knees scrubbing the shower by hand. I was so impressed by how thorough she was. At the end of our stay, we left five euros as a small thank you. The front desk staff was also very helpful. When we had trouble getting tickets to the Louvre, one of the staff gave us tips on how to secure same-day tickets, which worked out perfectly. City Pharma is a few blocks away and has a great selection of skincare. Prices were consistent with other pharmacies, and the staff even helped me complete the paperwork for my tax refund. As for the one con, while there are a couple of chain stores, most of the boutiques in this area are very high end. If you are coming to Paris for shopping and are not looking to spend a fortune, this might not be the best area for that. That said, my husband and son are all about food, so they were thrilled. They also love watches, and were happy to find a Seiko store just a few blocks away. I was happy too, but I do wish I had been able to treat myself a little more.

The hotel was eerily quiet during our stay, I'm told because many people are traveling on holiday, although that would make it seem that travelers from other places would be staying here. At any rate, staff was amazing all around. Housekeeping, front desk and restaurant staff all went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Everything about this hotel was thoughtfully designed. The decor is impeccable. And although our room was tiny according to U.S. standards, it was tastefully done. Details like the aubergine velvet base of the bed, the gold fixtures throughout the bathroom, the lighted room number outside of the door and the glass door wardrobe closet all made this a luxurious stay. Breakfast was tasty each day; since it was included in our rate we took advantage of it. It just was sad to be eating alone since no other guests were dining. We also got a free welcome cocktail and that was tasty too. Location is close to the metro, pharmacy and within walking distance to plenty of shopping and dining. Hotel is a bit small but so is every other place in Paris. There is no parking at the hotel but there is parking right across the street at the Lafayette Galleries which has a great rate for weekends Saturday-Monday (€38). The Montparnasse area is actually pretty awesome. There are a ton of great cafes and bars in the area and the Montparnasse metro station connects with plenty of lines that will take you to Notre Dame, Champs Élysées, and other great places. Will definitely stay here again! Oh and free wifi!!!!
