The classic "combo Gyro" with. Chicken, lamb, and white sauce. Big portion, and full of flavor.
Walter R.

Fast service. Bright, clean, simple decor. Fresh food at a fair price. The meat is tender, the pita bread is fluffy and fresh tasting, and the veggies are crisp and cool. This is one of my "go to" spots after the gym, when I want something fast, but also relatively healthy.

Gyro Hut serves as a convenient place in Sugar Land to get a filling meal at a decent price. Each time that I have visited, the wait to order is either very short or nonexistent. Food also comes out very quickly after placing your order. Every cashier that I have interacted with has been friendly and patient. I typically get the combo platter over rice with white and red sauce on the side. While the food doesn't blow my socks off, it is still good and scratches the itch whenever I am in search of NYC style Halal cart food. The rice at Gyro Hut stands out to me as it is more fragrant and not as dry as other similar spots. The salad that is served with the plates are also more varied and contain more ingredients than other spots too. One critique that I will offer is that the restaurant is typically quite loud inside. Whether it be the music that is playing or just having echo-y walls, I always find the restaurant a bit too loud but not overly uncomfortable.

Can't go wrong with gyro's over rice plate. and love the number of options we have in the city for this dish. made famous in NY and now can be found everywhere. went to @gyrohut, this is one of the better options that i have been to, I went with the Chicken and Lamb combo, this place has generous portions, fresh veggies, flavorful meat, and the Spicy sauce has a kick to it. enjoyed the meal, this gyros over rice has turned into one of my comfort foods. #food #foodphotography #foodporn #foodgasm #foodiesofinstagram #foodpic #foodbloggers #globalfood #globaleats #globalfoodie #internationalfoodie #internationalfoodieschat #foodiesinternationalchat #thefoodieinitiative #foodblogger #foodlover #foodies #foodpics #forkyeahfoodies #internationalcuisinefamily #fooodexplorertribe #halalfoodie #halalhouston #halalfood #htxfoodie #sugarland #sugarlandhalal #localbusiness #supportlocal

I asked for meat and sauce on side instead of on my fries.

Came here to grab a bite to eat because it was near my doctor. This place surprised me. It reminds me of the gyros I had in New York. This spot is really good. The gyro and fries I had were perfect. I'll definitely be back here. Ask for an extra white sauce before you leave. Thank me later ;-)

Best gyro hut in sugarland. Extremely nice staff that's always there to help you out and extremely generous with their portions. My two orders of a gyro platter was $28

We usually substitute the rice for Persian salad. Diced cucumbers, tomatoes and red onions with a Persian dressing. My favorite. For something different, try the fesenjan. Chicken served with a pomegranate, walnut and saffron stew served with basmati rice. So tangy and sweet. Love this one! Add some hummus, whipped feta or warm eggplant dip while you wait for dinner. Parking is easy. Make a reservation for a weekend dinner or lunch.

I must say I have to echo her review, as we were blown away by the flavors. The restaurant was packed, and the decor was fancy but comfortable. One look at the interior and clientele already convinced me this place would be authentic. We opted to try 2 different combos, the Kasra and seafood combo, so we could share and try a bit of everything. It's hard to pick a favorite, all the proteins were flavorful and tender. The rice was a whole talking point just by itself. I often get bored with plain old white rice, so I'm glad Kasra seasons their rice well. The portions were very generous as well, they left me full after cleaning up that whole plate. This was an excellent introduction to Persian cuisine for me, we got lucky that we chose a place that would leave a great first impression!

Service was mediocre with us having to wait a long time to put our order in because the one server that was there was busy chatting with some woman who was making a togo order after we had been seated. The food was hit or miss with the highlights being the lentil soup and garlic dip.The moussaka seemed like it came premade from the store which was disappointing. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and they put a toilet seat that is too small on the toilet so good luck if you need to sit down... Also I spent the entire night unable to sleep well with indigestion and my wife has had to run to the restroom all night and all morning. Overall I don't think we will return due to the grossness...

When we entered the vibe was relatable to the name of the restaurant but after a few minutes we heard Bollywood songs and I love Bollywood songs but I feel like the vibe of the restaurant should relate to the cuisine and ambiance. It automatically gives an impression that the restaurant isn't Greek or Lebanese for example. Anyway, we had ordered kibeh and lentil soup for appetizers. The lentil soup was the worst lentil soup I've ever had it was frozen we asked them to heat it but it still tasted disgusting. I couldn't eat it. The kibeh was alright the dip with the kibeh was good. For entrees, we ordered the chicken shawarma plate and combo kebabs. The plates came with a salad the dressing was interesting but I'm not a fan of feta cheese so I didn't have the salad. The shrimps and chicken kebab of the combo kebabs were not bad I really liked the shrimps. The hummus was okay and the rice was very bland. The service was quick I believe because everything felt like it was pre-cooked except for the kebabs but the beef kebab wasn't cooked entirely one of the pieces it was raw. The shawarma was not good at all! Very disappointing Our bill was $60 and we were charged a 2.5% fees for credit card!

I just found another beautiful and spacious coffee spot for studying or late night dessert date!…read moreThey specialize in unique Yemeni options like Harazi Mufawar, and a variety of tasty pastrie such as Dubai cheese bread, Turkish baklava (a rich, buttery pastry made of paper-thin layers of phyllo dough filled with finely crushed nuts and pistachio), and mom's kunafa. The staff was very patient with me since it was my first time and didn't know what the desserts taste like. I got the lavender matcha half sweet and the honeycomb cheese bread. Maybe because I ordered less sweet so I don't taste the lavender at all, but my matcha did have a slightly strong fragrant smell in the beginning. But overall the drink got more bland as the ice melted. The bread was good though, they give honey on the side so you can adjust the sweetness yourself. The bread is pillowy and easily pulled apart, a good balanced sweet savory pastry because the cheese is light and not overpowering. I would love to come back again next time to try the other popular desserts and their coffees.

It was nicely balanced all the way through--not one of those drinks where you get to the bottom for all the pistachio. The spinach roll had a lot of spices, including a bit of a kick. The people behind the counter were friendly and kind--I would go back for sure.
