The company who makes the bags is from London. All kinds of sizes and unique designs! One of the ladies who worked there explained the company and the different designs. The Lewes Blooming Boutique had a bigger selection of this line (Vendula). I went to the Lewes Blooming Boutique and they did have a bigger selection of these cute bags. The owner was there and she told me the bag I was interested in would be arriving at her Lewes store in the next week . I gave them my contact information and they called me the following week to tell me the bag I was interested in had come in! The owner, the people who work at both Longneck and the Lewes store are all helpful and kind. I love shopping local and enjoy great customer service. I'm enjoying my fun bag and recommend this boutique!

My fiancé (at the time) and I found the idea of making our wedding rings soon after getting engaged. We were enthralled with the idea of hand creating one of the most important symbols of our marriage and the one that literally and physically you are bound to every day. So we hit the internet, scouring the web for a jeweler or workshop that would allow us to make our rings while at the same time not breaking the bank. Hours of searching, calling and finding jewelers who wanted to charge 5K for the experience became exhaustive. We were just about to give up and head to that good old chain Jeweler in a mall when we found Heidi and to this day still one the be best decisions my wife and I made about our entire wedding experience. We called Heidi and right away her friendliness shone through. She worked with us and made recommendations when we were lost on what the right size, material and styles of our rings. After speaking with her, she sent estimates for the cost and coming in just a tad over what we would of paid to just buy our rings at a chain jeweler...we knew we had found something special. We rented a car and drove up to Rehoboth (we live in DC) and arrived at Heidi's studio on a Saturday morning. A little nervous of not knowing what to expect we walked in and right away were greeted by Heidi. Over the next 6 hours Heidi not only guided us though out process of hand making each other's (you can make your own or if you wish to make your partners) rings but became a friend in the process. From the moment we walked in you could feel her passion not only for her art but for personalizing and making our experience the best possible. To start out with a dirty flat band of white gold and to end up with a shiny round wedding ring, is such an awesome feeling of creativity, passion and love. Throughout the process Heidi did a fantastic job of making us feel calm about what can be a little scary. Lighting your rings or fire and hammering it into shape can be scary but all along the way Heidi allowed us to have full control over the process while showing us each step and helping to craft the perfect ring. After a while all of the fears of running your minds are whisked away and you immerse yourself in the memorable experience and Heidi's fun stories and presence. Once we were done with the experience we looked at our finish product in amazement. We couldn't believe we made such beautiful rings...we walked next-door the Dogfish Head Brewpub (what a location!) with large smiles and not one regret. Spending the afternoon at Heidi's studio was truly an unforgettable experience that we get to relive just a little bit every day as we stare down at our beautiful rings. Ohh, and of course, this made for a very popular story at the wedding. Thank you Heidi for such a beautiful and special experience we will never forget.

I've been increasingly disappointed with Piccolino over the years, after initially being a huge fan…read morewhen it was located across 2nd St in the much-smaller location than the space it occupies now (which is shared with another store). I always go in with high hopes, and occasionally I'm rewarded with an amazing find, such as the absolute cutest, black-and-white beaded capri sweatsuit I've ever seen. I splurged on that one 2 years ago, and I've just been so happy with it. Beautifully made, and so unique. The problem is, their prices are very high, even for basic items. Expect to pay at least $50 for each piece of clothing, and usually over $100. Case in point, yesterday, near the door, there was a rack of gorgeous dresses with tie-died skirts. In any other boutique, this would cost maybe, at the highest, $40 or so, probably less. At Piccolino, they were in the $120 range. These are *sundresses* - nothing fancy. There's just no way I'm paying that, no matter how cute it is. The prices just seem unnecessarily inflated. Accessories have also been disappointing lately. At the old location, accessories were really the focus, given the smaller size of that location. Many appeared to be handmade, or at least very high quality, and clearly they were carefully selected to set just the right tone for the store. In recent years, the accessories appear to be just an afterthought - overpriced, poor quality, and uninteresting. Piccolino is much like a formerly cute cottage: a place that used to be tended to lovingly, but over the years has fallen into a state of sad disrepair, a place with so much wasted potential. This is a place that used to be one of those unique little 2nd St. Lewes gems that now is just as overpriced and generic as any other mainstream boutique in any other small town. I still go when I am in Lewes, hoping for the Piccolino of old, but so far, no luck.

I have so many things to choose from when I shop there - jewelry for fun and everyday wear, clothes for work, dresses for weddings, pieces for everything from the beach to a snow day, and cute things for my 1 year old daughter. I have purchased more quality handbags, clutches, HOBO wallets/bags, and UGGS than I'd ever tell my husband.
