I worked here as a teenager, it was fun, kids learned, great job. Flashforward to my excitement of my own children learning gymnastics here. Terrible experience. My kids were at The Little Gym Everett before we moved to this area and they do more for you than anyting I've seen at GYMagine. My son was by himself in a class, little to no engagement by the coach, lots of down time and wandering around the gym, he was bored and did not learn anything new. My daughter, also did not learn anything new, was more advanced than the others so she was also bored. SO MUCH DOWN TIME. Coaches have no plans, teenagers are running the front desk, no adult supervision, they messed up our schedules not once but five times. The gym is dirty, old equipment, coaches don't start on time, no safety training when kids get hurt (several friends of ours have gotten hurt with no follow up safety), management does not care, late or no answer on messages, phone calls, texts. Would highly recommend you think twice before sending your children here. read more

The lady showed up 30 mins late ,to open for a birthday was planned weeks in advance The staff was nice,but the lady in the office wasn't nice she was super rude! Not sure she understood the fact she was renting the place for a birthday party! You need to disclose the fact all ages can't use your stuff when renting for a birthday party's ... I would definitely not recommend this place to have a child's birthday party at!! read more

Good idea for a birthday party:) venue was A-OK as the 3 stars explains.... wish it could have been better but what can you expect when the staff consists of high schoolers if that:( The venue itself is decent for a gymnastic school, the location is in the cut of Mukilteo so needless to say my GPS had a hard time finding the place. I understand that this is a school and that they do the parties probably as a side venture but the party portion was quick and painless, we got kicked out pretty much within an hour and a half!! so we got out as soon as possible and then hung on in the parking lot for a bit trying to decide were to finish the party at since the birthday girl still wanted to play with her cousins and friends. Needless to say I really wanted to give this place atleast a 4 star but the attitude of the young girls just threw off, especially when they slammed the door and sped away in there vehicles, WOW, really:( read more

At first glance, this seems like a basic gym with a bunch of really young instructors. What I've discovered is this is a family. We've only been going to Gymagine for a few months now, but it has made a big impression. For my 8-year-old, it has been an opportunity to learn new skills from instructors who seem to really pay attention and are happy to help them try over and over again until they get it. She has made huge strides in her abilities and in her confidence. For my 5-year-old, it has been just plain fun. She connected with the instructors immediately and spends much of class not only doing gymnastics but sharing stories about her day. Even with all of her chatter, she is fully engaged in what they are learning. For my husband and me, it is a comfortable space to watch our kids have a great time and grow stronger. Plus, they have strong wifi and tons of power outlets. And there's just something about the people there. It feels so positive, and I appreciate that team tryouts are open - that's my first experience at a gym that does that. Oh, and as for the young instructors, they are well-trained, well-supervised, and all seem to truly love teaching the kids. Turns out my older daughter's current school teacher was once a Gymagine instructor. If she's an example of what they instill in these instructors, then they are doing an amazing job. read more

My daughter has been enrolled in their gymnastics for about a year, she has barely learned anything new. These classes are VERY expensive compared to other places. When I watch her sessions there is a lot of "down time" and not a lot being taught to the class. She does enjoy it and says she has fun but it's not definintely not productive. My daughter has had 4 different instructors all within this year, and only one of them (to my knowledge) could actually do any kind of gymnastics. Also, I have had issues keeping my daughter in the same class because they didn't tell me about "auto enrollment"- I didn't have any issues keeping her in her class for the first few months or so and all of the sudden she is no longer able to be in that class and had to be moved because the class was full. Actually, they told me that specific class time was not available anymore and that was the reason she was bumped, when in all actuality, the class was still scheduled- they actually just over booked the class. I found this out because my daughter's good friend is in her same class and I spoke to her mother who informed me the class is in fact still scheduled. Whenever I try and call this place they almost never answer, I have to call several times- sometimes several times over the course of the day to get a hold of ANYONE. You can try and leave a message but they don't always call back. There have been issues with being over charged, and you have to work to get your money back. Overall, I would not choose this place for gymnastics. read more

I had two sessions left over from before the pandemic and was worried they would not give me my money back, which is what some other gyms have done in the past for missed classes. Gymagine was amazing though! They offered me a full refund for my remaining classes, but we decided to just make them up instead. No strings attached! They have by far the BEST refund/makeup policy of any gym I have taken my kids to. I cannot recommend them enough! read more

Attempted to contact several times to get my son put in some classes. Never once received a phone call back and I left several voicemails. I even sent an email and a Facebook message. We were trying to use a Groupon we purchased to test the place out. Now we pay monthly for regular sessions at the little gym in Everett and love it there! read more

My son absolutely adores his gymnastics class. He's really improved over the course of the last year in regards to his balance and coordination. He's had several instructors over time but has worked well with all of them. The price works out to about $25/class which is well worth it for our family. read more

Our daughter was in the acrotots program for about 2 years with coach Annie. She absolutely loved coming to class each week! The teacher to child ratio was great - really felt like each child got enough instruction and attention from coach Annie. She's a great teacher and very encouraging of her students. I signed my daughter up for private lessons. When the coach showed up he was great. However, he no-showed without a phone call several times. This was very disappointing to my daughter and myself as she would get really excited to go just to find out that she doesnt have a coach. So much time would go by between classes that he would ask my daughter what they worked on last time. The last slap in the face was when we showed up one day for class and he tried to tell us that we had not paid. I went to the office and gave them all the no-show dates and explained that I should have credit for those dates only to have them tell me that I should have asked for credit sooner. All along I thought they were keeping track and it was just a given that I shouldnt have to ask for credit. I counted my losses and will never go back. read more

I tried this for my 3 year old and it's super expensive, the instructor seemed like she had no experience with kids, and she just kind of floated around watching the time go by. Customer service is awful. The receptionist let the man in front of us know it wasn't mandatory to wear masks if you were vaccinated and he said "sure I can be vaccinated" laughed and walked away and she just shrugged. I was shocked. I'm vaccinated and I still wore a mask out of respect for everyone else's kids. Not to mention it took me 3 days, 5-7 calls a day to get someone on the phone starting my calls at 9:01AM. Also, I filled out all our info online and it wasn't till after the woman at the desk had me fill it out by hand that she looked up my daughter on the computer and says "oh, you actually didn't need to write those out". I would not recommend this place for parents hoping to let some steam off with little little ones. read more

My son and I have been doing to the toddler class for 2 1/2 months now. We have Coach Annie and she is the best. I saw in many of the other reviews that many of the instructors are high schoolers. Annie is an adult gymnast and coach who is very talented at teaching young kids. She knows exactly how to engage a two year old and get him excited to do whatever skill she is teaching. When I signed up our son for this class, I assumed he'd learn how to do a somersault and maybe a few other things. It is so much more than that. He's learned to LISTEN, follow directions, wait his turn in line, follow the leader and he's learned gymnastics skills. What I thought would be one session of classes to learn a few gym skills has turned into so much more. He and I have both learned so much from Coach Annie and we love Gymagine! read more

Very Disapointed with the classes. My daughter has been going there for several months now and week after week they do the same thing over and over never doing new things. To many children to one teenage coach ( a different coach each week, while 3 other coaches sit in the office. For 100.00 per month you would think they would teach the children gymnastics instead of play hour once a week.Have a credit and a make up class, They wont refund me the credit even though i told them we were going else where. So i guess they get to keep my money and the class i already paid for Per the manager susan.. I dont recomend this place its cheaper to go to elevated sports and jump on the trampolines there , since they never really tought my daughter gymnastics. read more

Love this gym. My daughter is 2 and her first class was horrible. She was scared to do anything but teacher Michelle was so encouraging. The next week she was so much better and did more things. Each week is even better. At this age it is about getting them used to things but Michelle is so good with the kids. I highly recommend this place. read more

I can't believe Gymagine is still in business the way they cancel w/o notice and then offer no refunds. Please do not give this business any money in advance. Save yourself the headache and tell them you will pay as you go because chances are there will be times your coach will not show up and it will take them half way thru the session to find a substitute or they will have supervised "free time" w/o a coach or blend two classes into one. They switched my daughter's weekly lesson to another day, and only offered us credit when we told them we had a conflict and could not make the new day. I had to get threatening with them before I got a refund (2nd time I had to do so, when they switched or canceled on me) I thought they were very inconsiderate and I finally took my money elsewhere. read more

I've taken my twin 2-year old daughters here a couple times for their toddler drop in time. They absolutely love it. There are so many things for them to play with or play on it makes other "little" gyms seem so little. The fact that they can actually just PLAY makes it so much better. Too many of these "toddler times" are trying to create structured play and sing along time. Gymagine does it right and let's the kids just play and make up their own games. The last time I was there I received great service from the desk attendant and the staff, while fairly young, looked genuinely enthusiastic about what she was doing. The only negative thing about it is that it's only 45 minutes. My girls need at least 90 to get tuckered out! We'll definitely continue to go here regardless! read more

Gymagine is TERRIBLE !!!!! I had my son at Gymagine for six months and the coaches for the younger kids are INCOMPETENT and that is being generous to give them that much credit.. The coaches for the younger kids (3-7 year old) are high school kids who do NOT know how to deal with younger kids. Half the time the coaches do not show up and then they scramble to find a fill in coach so they either consolidate 2 classes into 1 or they cancel the class all together. When they do show up, they do not know how to coach young kids, they are ineffective to communicate instructions. They do not demonstrate the activities to provide a visual so the kids can see what is being asked of them. I recently took my other son to a birthday party and it looks like they have actually gotten worse. My son takes gymnastics at a different gym and understands the basics but he completely shut down at Gymagine and refused to participate after 15min because the coaches do not interact with kids, they do not demonstrate moves and they do not provide any personal instructions. There were 4 instructors at the party and none of them provided any assistance or extra instructions to kids who were unfamiliar with a gym environment. There were kids crying and scared and needed a little assistance to walk across a balance beam and you would think someone would help the kids. Gymagine solution to kids crying and being scared was to provide instructions over a loud speak (P.A. system). If you are considering this place at all then take the free class and try one or two of the other gyms before you sign up. Once you participate in a gym that has competent instructors then you will not sign up for gymagine. There are gyms in Everett and in Mount lake terrace. I live close to gymagine and the extra drive time to a different gym is well worth the investment. In summary, the coaches at gymagine are high school kids with no experience and they have ZERO work ethic. read more
