The website was well-maintained and their license number was active so I decided to fill-out the form and hope I got a response. A few hours later, I got a text from Luis to schedule a time to come by for a free estimate. He was so professional, advised me of potential damage to our sprinkler system, and quoted me a super reasonable price for the tree removal and stump grinding - actually several hundred dollars less than the previous quotes I got. Luis and his crew arrived on time the following week. They were so fast, did an exquisite job removing the tree, and the stump grinding was flawless. The mess it was causing a lot of acorns, leaves, branches to drop on my property driveway......work a 70yo doesn't need. To me, Jose is a man of his word. Got a quote we shook hands and his crew was at my property at 7:30am for a work start at 8am. I consider his quote to be fair. The equipment alone a huge bucket truck to reach at least 50' high and a shredder that handled 6 - 8 " limbs probably could handle even larger ones that I had. This crew knew what they were doing. I spoke with a few different contractors and received three quotes. Two were in a similar range, including Julian's; the third was much more expensive. I chose Julian because the business seemed well managed, and the results did not disappoint. Noe was the person I worked with. He was on time, easy to communicate with, and prompt in replying. He was knowledgeable about his work and quickly identified what needed to be done in each area of the yard as we walked around my yards. On the day of the job, eight crew members arrived right on time: four climbers and four ground crew members. While a few did not speak much English, others did, so communication was never a problem. They worked hard for about eight hours and completed the job by the end of the day. Noe stopped by shortly after noon to make sure the work was meeting my expectations. When I mentioned a few additional items I wanted addressed - such as clearing more of the brush in the backyard - he quickly spoke with the crew and had them taken care of. The entire team was easy to communicate with and clearly knew what they were doing. For example, one of the trees had branches hanging over the power line leading into my house. They trimmed it just enough to clear the line and leave a beautiful canopy without overdoing it. I was impressed. They also did a thorough cleanup afterward.
