My experience with MGP Mechanical :
It started by almost…read morejumping out of my chair because I was not expecting them, but that was the worst of it , I sit by the door, that is going to happen.
That was on me because they sent me many texts, but I've been getting a lot of spam mail so I wrote them off and do not have my phone set to ring.
However, a very kind gentleman with a dairy professional well kept nice new truck with their MGP Mechanical logo showed up at my door today saying it was not a scam :-) .
A well dressed and informed gentleman began to tell me the litttle they would be intruding, how little I had to worry about, ( he was working with a younger Specialist who was very similar in his ability to stay relaxed and calm as well as seemed to be a very hard worker having not complained of one thing he was us to do) and the gentleman continued that they were here to turn on my furnace and check the swamp cooler.
As a renter, I was not scheduling it myself so my only hint was ...well the 20 Phone calls I missed and 3 texts over the course of two weeks I believe, Hehe ...I guess I should've figured it out that They were not a scam but been busy enveloped in school.
gentleman came in and as a safety nerd I was happy to see OSHA regulations exist in the world still as he was checking every possible part that could develop any issue , send his apprentice to outside crawl space which isn't necessary, I know from having others serviced as a renter, but they" younger worker did with a smile. They even tested way more efficiently than carbon monoxide testers can inn the house down to the 1 part per million, while other home testers can only test once you've gotten past hundreds of parts per million. I believe.
He was training somebody younger and had patience for him, the younger man he was training, had respect for him symmetrically. The younger gentlemen was just as polite naturally as The first Man, was not forcing his kindness you could tell they were both just genuinely kind men.
My husband was not here, and I was quite uncomfortable with the idea of ANYONE coming through the front door.
But they're friendly attitudes and casual treatment of my very tiny home , and ability to stay relatively quiet( I have a TBI and I'm incredibly sensitiveto sound, smell, touch, and and put into fight or flight/ panic easily because of it.) Yet the only time I suffered from any anxiety the entire time was for only seconds really when he first knocked, and I did not expect it.
I would like to say thank you so very much to the guys ( sorry for not learning your names) and the company because I did not get a good picture of them.
But, I will tell you that I recommend them and I have worked in the blue-collar industry my entire life. The gentlemen were knowledgeable and the more senior specialist was willing to share his knowledge with this next young up-and-comer.
They were clean, didn't smell, polite, respectful to my service dog , didn't cuss, just the kind of a polite company everyone hopes to find service with.
Last thing I would've expected was such a seamless experience having someone here for the first time, and I had to come on here to say something, may not have a lot of money, but my word does need something because I do not stretch what happens more so try to document exactly what I see. So, in exchange for their kind service and attention to what I said I would really appreciate, which was safe work done quiet and efficiently as I was working on the same with my cartooning project :-)
thanks guys!
If hopefully more people read these reviews rather than paid opinions, maybe the community will start hiring the people that are worth hiring rather than the ones that are overcharging and untrained, and sometimes dangerous.
These guys are the opposite, exactly what you want to see if you think about your community and are at a point in life you want respect in your home, information, and no more excuses, hire MGP Mechanical. I rarely comment on other people's work with confidence! If all their employees are as competent and kind, I do about them. :-)
