A decade or so ago there was a location for Guys in Rochester NY and we used to eat there regularly. Sadly it's no longer there and I had a dire craving for their classic calzones. So what did I do? I drove over four hours (one way!) for this and even through rose tinted glasses it was just as good as I remembered it. Fantastic food; great service. I'll be making the trip again in the future. We ordered the Meatzza and Chicken Bianco and both were excellent. My biggest complaint for pizza is it is too greasy, not the case with Guys pizza. We had it delivered and it actually was hot. All the other pizza places we had delivered were warm so always had to heat up in the microwave. read more

My family LOVES Guys pizza. The sauce is the best, with just a hint of sweetness! Our favorite is the New Yorker size because it gets the crust to the absolute perfect thickness. It's a big pizza, but it still fits out the shop door and into our car -- the scent that fills the car on the drive home is heavenly! We cut the slices down the middle so one pizza goes a long way, providing highly coveted leftovers for the next day. Sometimes I think we ought to change up our order to keep things interesting for the owner, but what can I say? We like what we like, and they always deliver on taste. We receive excellent service at Guys and tell all our friends about it. Their pizza is affordable, authentic and delicious! There are many choices in Chardon when it comes to pizza, but nothing stands up to Guys. read more

My wife was giving birth at UH Geauga Down the street and well..... I wasn't trying to eat any of that hospital garbage. I went to YELP to find restaurants around the area. I was pleasantly surprised to find Guys. I looked over the menu online and they have everything you could imagine a pizza place would have and a whole lot more. I really had a taste for a buffalo chicken pizza but also wanted a calzone. I called and asked if they could make me a buffalo chicken calzone (which wasn't even on the menu) and they did it without a problem! It's turned out amazing! Needed to order a lunch for a group at work today and it was super short notice... I could have not asked for a nicer person on the phone when I ordered. We mostly order pizza's but there were a few side orders of their Guyros and salads. It was amazing how quick they got it to us, just in time for the meeting. They were very professional walking into our work place too. I know that we are going to use them again for work but I am also (and my friends) are going to order from them again and again. Love the food, can't wait to try the Guy Burger... Plus it was great to be able to help out a small business right here in my home town !!! read more

Chardon Deep Dish Pizza is THE BEST!! It is our favorite thing to order! It is extra thick and a ton of cheese and no skimping on the toppings! I also order the Regular Guyzone's with our choice of toppings. The sauce is on the side to dip in and not on the calzone just for a heads up. They are amazing as well. read more

This pizza was not good. I was not familiar with this chain, so I thought I would give it a shot, my mistake! The crust looks like a frozen pizza and turns into kind of a gluey (for lack of a better word) substance when chewed. It reminded me of the cheap pies I bought at Ohio State in college at 3 am(Gumbys!), the problem is, this pizza was not inexpensive either. The sauce was on the sweet side, not terrible, just not very flavorful and not enough. The toppings were ok, but as I stated before, more like the quality of a frozen pizza. Maybe I am getting too old for mediocrity, my 12 year son thought it was good, but that is not saying much. Either way, there are many other better options in Chardon (Noce) and surrounding (P&P's, Master Pizza) to waste your time with this. read more

Worst customer experience of my life by far. I ordered online at 5:00 pm on a Saturday for a scheduled delivery at 6:30. At 6:45 when the order hadn't arrived I called to ask if they got the order and if they knew when it would arrive, the girl on the phone, Michelle, said she didn't know and "it will probably get there in about 15 minutes". I told her that at that point it would be 30 minutes late and she said that it was because they just got "slammed". I asked why that mattered since I had ordered over an hour and a half earlier for that very reason, and Michelle screamed "have a good rest of your night sir!", and hung up on me. She offered nothing for my trouble. I called back to cancel my order, only to find that Michelle was now intentionally ignoring my calls. After several tries to connect with them she picked up the phone and screamed "you're tying up our phone lines, so unless you're going to come here and help us make pizzas don't call here again!, and as I requested the owner's contact information she again hung up on me. It was now about 7:15 and my kids were starving, so we piled in the car to go to another pizza shop in town instead, and when I stopped by Guys Pizza on the way to collect my refund, Michelle's tirade continued. I politely asked for my money back and she said "if you wanted your money back you could have asked for it at any time, you just want to act like an ass", then she looked at the next customer in line and said "he called us like 6 or 7 times to yell at me and act like an ass". (I never once raised my voice.) I handed her my credit card and again asked if she would please just give me my money back, and she started to, but then stopped and said "since you ordered online I can't refund you're money anyway, so you're back just gonna have to handle it some other time". Then she threw my credit card on the counter. When I asked her why she was being so rude, angry, and belligerent she said it was because of having to deal with "a**holes" like me. I turned and left, astonished over the whole horrible experience. read more

Never in my 34 years have I had so many things go wrong with ordering a simple pizza to be delivered. We ordered a pizza and garlic bread to be delivered to my work to I could run it home to my husband who has a knew injury and is in crutches. I was promised the pizza would get there by 8:10. At 8:22 I called just to make sure they got my order because I made it online. The guy said they got my order and the delivery kid left ten minutes prior to my call. The food finally showed up at 8:35. No apology for being so late, nothing. I called the restaurant to ask what reason it will have for being so late. He said they were busy (ok, I can pretty much accept this answer.) I open the pizza to give a coworker a piece and see that ALL of the toppings were slid across the box, half on the pizza, half next to it in the box!! I was very upset because it cost is $31 for this crappy service and pizza. I called and they offered to refund my money. I said "d@#n right you are going to refund me!". I finally get a chance to sit down and eat a bread stick only to find them burned on the bottom!! NEVER EVER will I order food from here again. I suggest others not to either! read more

The deals were very nice how ever the order came out wrong. In their defense it was very confusing and when you are using the deal service it was hard to understand. On 11/20 I arrived in time to see the pizza that I order coming out of the oven. Roughly half the pizza around the outer edge was burned. I told the individual that was boxing the pizza repeatedly that the pizza was burned and he kept arguing that it wasn't even though he admitted to his colleague that the pizza shouldn't have come out like the way it did. $23 for a burnt pizza is unacceptable and what is even worse is that the employees at this "Guys Pizza" would serve an inadequately cooked pizza to a customer without blinking an eye or even a care about the happiness of their customers. STAY AWAY from this pizza place! read more

Gyros are always great. Stuff but not overly full and never greasy. Phone staff has always been helpful and actually sounds like the enjoy being there, which is always nice from our POV. They always accommodate when we decide to just grab pizza or gyros for lunch on short notice. read more

Had a sausage and mushroom pizza a couple of days ago. My wife and I loved it. We did the thin crust and it was what we expected.

The food tastes as if they bought it all at Sam's club in the frozen section and simply made it. Along with the hour and a half wait for delivery its safe to say they do not have a repeat customer. How they can be in business is beyond me. read more
