I was acing the class with high test scores. If I asked the instructor questions, she took it personally and talked crap about me to the director etc. Most likely she was intimidated and not confident. One day she actually yelled at me in front of the whole class and demanded I talked to her outside the class. I said no way. I'm not trying to have a conversation with you while your angry and hostile. She was so low class and a drunk. She talked about getting drunk every weekend. Anyway, the director resolved it her way which I was unsatisfied with how it was handled. She refused to resolve it in a manner I would be comfortable returning to class which basically was a violation of the schools own policy and procedures, grievance section. Instead she literally told me not to return. I contacted THEC, COE and reported them to my local WIA career counselor. I did not file a formal complaint because I was so upset I chose to move on from the most traumatic experience I've ever had in an educational institution. You will be wasting your time and money with this wretched place.

Just went to class today for an eight (8) hour session with Barrett and Kayla... and I must say I…read morewas dreading this. However, I had a total blast! This was a fun yet really educational session, and they managed to get the four and eight hour classes finished earlier than expected... which was a huge relief! The course was at the Holiday Inn Express on Chaffin Place in Murfreesboro, (I give that place four and a half stars itself... not a full five as it didn't have a restaurant) and we could get coffee, avail ourselves of the food at the full breakfast bar... not a bad deal. We played cool games in between the necessary videos, quizzes and tests, with a break about halfway through the four hour course, and a lunch hour for the eight hour... however, we managed to cover so much so quickly with retention that we were out of there hours earlier than expected. (We were a group of smart cookies! Yay us!) I can seriously say I learned a lot today. Things have changed since I took drivers ed. Barrett and Kayla are a great team... he's the teacher, and she's the silent but efficient partner; I really got a kick out of her as I know she's as charismatic as he is! We got tips on how to efficiently deal with our completion certificates, got the fax numbers AND the number to call to follow up to make sure the Department of Safety actually HAD received it... I don't trust a fax transmittal sheet myself. I want to know an actual PERSON has gotten that fax from that machine and done what they were supposed to do with it. This is my driver's license we are talking about here! So, they made sure each person knew what to do in their particular situation. All in all? I had a great day with a group of great people... exceptional teachers... an A+ school in all regards. If one must attend this sort of thing? This is the one! I got a discount for signing up and paying online as well!!!

First off, this is the second time they cancelled due to an emergency, with no rescheduled date. But when I arrived ( I also had services booked for that day) the financial aid lady was there, and looks like there were tours happening. Weird. The student who did my nails and the nail instructor were adamant that I would have to stay on financial aids ass in order to get enrolled in classes. I will not be chasing anyone to enroll, I will just take my business elsewhere. So on to my services, I want to start by saying that I completely understand that these are students who are learning and mastering their craft. HOWEVER, if the student is a senior and they are doing subpar (and that's being nice) work at best, they should not be taking on clients. The instructor was no where to be found until it was time to sign off of the students paperwork. The instructor didn't even take the time to look over to students work. The student was nice enough, but I'm not sure being a nail tech is her passion. There is no way that could be proud of the work she did on my nails. The before picture was embarrassing and I couldn't bring myself to post. The pic is after I came home and tried to file and fix my nails a bit. YIKKKKEEES!!

My husband gave me a gift of a photography class from Taylor Alexander Photography this past…read moreChristmas. I was finally able to schedule it and take the class from Taylor herself this past March. Not only did she teach me how to use the equipment I already owned more efficiently, but she opened my eyes to so much more as far as the type and style of photos I like to take. Yes, this was a beginner's class, but now I have more of an overall understanding. I had been doing so many wrong things for so long. She is so down-to-earth and easy to talk to. I loved the way she explained everything in layman's terms in addition to having a great guide book she provided. She even offered help on choosing other equipment and gave me an example of what a photography release should look like. My only regret is that I didn't take the time to learn from her sooner. I hope to take her full mentorship class soon to learn more about editing and business. I would highly recommend taking a class from her as well as booking for photography needs.
