The process was pretty simple. They measured, asked about options and we signed the paperwork and the order was placed. The windows arrived when they said they would and the crew was there on the morning of install as they promised. Seem like they sent more guys then they needed but that was their business (our price was already set). They worked most of the day and took about 30 mins to cleanup and showed us how everything worked. After they left we double-checked their caulking (inside and out) and everything look really good. Not that we were surprised but you never know. The windows have been in for several weeks now and the owner called to check in last week (nice touch!). We are happy with the results and they will be our first call when we do the rear windows next year.

From the beginning of the project things went sideways. Our siding salesman promised hardiplank, installed a lesser product that wasn't even the same style. The salesman was fired, but we didn't get what we thought we were paying for. As for the roof, after it was installed, we had a leak that caused some water damage in bedroom, but it was fixed. Fast forward 4 years (we had roof/siding installed in May, 2021), we woke up a few weeks ago after a rainstorm to find water damage in the master bathroom, master bedroom and on the main floor in the kitchen. I called and asked Escex to come look for the leak. Mark Chapin, the roofing manager came out and told us that there was a 'dead spot' on the roof and that he would repair it but it wasn't covered under warranty. He would do the work himself for slightly under $600. I was skeptical, so therefore got another estimate from a well known roofer, who pointed out where they believed the leak came from and why. Below are current day pictures-4 years later. I asked about the quality of work, and the relationship to the leaks., sent emails and left voicemails for Escex Owner ADAM HUMPHREYS-he didn't return any of them. Mark told me he was limited in what he could do because the warranty expired? I wonder if this is the 'quality' Escex is so proud of and if they stand behind this type of workmanship and poor customer service?

We had used them the previous year and had a good experience, so we were especially disappointed by what happened this time. The work was unacceptable. Pollen and cobwebs were left throughout the property, the glass was streaked, and our outdoor furniture was still visibly covered in pollen. I was able to wipe much of it off myself with a sponge and garden hose. The technician, Stephen, said the job should take several hours, yet about 90 minutes later he was looking for someone to sign off on it. When my husband pointed out the numerous areas that had not been cleaned, Stephen became aggressive and argumentative rather than addressing the deficiencies. I ultimately asked him to leave. More concerning, we specifically instructed him to protect our electrical components and outdoor heaters from water. Despite that, he sprayed water directly into interior electrical outlets on our covered/screened porch and onto outdoor heaters. The job also resulted in property damage. A porch screen was torn, my dress was damaged during the interaction, and there was discoloration/bleach spotting on stained outdoor cabinetry. There is also significant etching/pitting in our new concrete that becomes clearly visible when the surface is wet. I have photographs documenting all of this. I provided WiseGuys with 32 photographs immediately after the service and another 71 photographs when requested. I was initially told I would receive a response within 24 hours. Instead, I spent weeks following up and eventually dealt with Levi in operations. In an effort to reach a reasonable resolution, we agreed not to seek reimbursement for the damaged/stained wood (or the concrete which I didn't even mention b/c at that time it hadn't rained so we hadn't seen that damage). We asked only that they address the torn screen and damaged dress and arrange an electrician to inspect the outlets and heaters that had been sprayed. Levi initially said WiseGuys had an electrician they worked with and would arrange the inspection. They later offered $350 for the screen and dress -- but then backed away from their commitment to send an electrician. Levi also promised written documentation of their offer, which I never received. I ultimately escalated the matter directly to the owner, Wesley Bloeme. I sent him a detailed packet containing the timeline and photographs and gave him an opportunity to respond. I also followed up with Levi regarding the promised documentation.Neither responded. That is ultimately what is most disappointing. Mistakes can happen. Poor workmanship can happen. What matters is how a company responds when a customer brings a serious problem to its attention. After months of follow-ups, extensive documentation, and multiple opportunities to resolve this privately, WiseGuys chose not to meaningfully address the situation -- and ultimately stopped responding altogether. Their website promotes "100% Customer Satisfaction," "Fast Response Times," and "Satisfaction Guaranteed." My experience was the exact opposite. I have photographs and documentation supporting everything described here and have attached a sampling. Look closely at the photos and ask yourself whether this is the quality of work you want to pay for. My advice: hire someone else. I would never use WiseGuys again and strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

The charge for the initial service was another thing. They came and asked for $800+ to clean the gutters. We asked why so much and they lowered to $350 just like that. That makes me question their honesty. Gutter companies are a dime a dozen and we will not be using them again. The tech that came out was nice and did the work the manager is the one I question.

What a great job Roofer Express did on my house…read more I had been having trouble getting a roofer to quote my home. When they heard that the insurance company wasn't going to pay for it, they ghosted me. I had been trying for a couple of months. I met Mike Roberts standing in front of a home in my neighborhood as the Roofer Express team was pulling off the old shingles. I was riding by on my way to work, so I turned around and got his card. I asked him to look at my house and give me a quote. I had the quote by the next morning. Then I did my research. Hmmm... A+ on BBB.org, good reviews, and the neighbor gave them a glowing recommendation. I don't know roofing companies, so those sorts of things make a big difference. I got three quotes. Two were in about the same ballpark, including Roofer Express, and the third was more expensive. Mike Roberts impressed me with his timely response and the effort he put into answering my questions. The installation process went very smoothly. Mike Roberts maintained good communication throughout the project. The pre-installation walkthrough answered my questions and gave me a good understanding of what I needed to do to be ready for installation day. The materials arrived on schedule the night before the install. The team arrived promptly at the scheduled time. Mike Roberts was also the project manager and was on-site for most of the day to ensure everything went smoothly. He identified minor items for his team to address and made sure they were taken care of. When my wife had to leave for work, he made sure there was a clear path for her to get out.
