Awful company with terrible bait and switch practices. Recieved a quote for a total gutter replacement and confirmed everything with a site visit by the person who provided the quote. Signed all documents accepting thier price. The quote clearly stated a replacement of ALL gutters and ALL downspouts. Company called the morning of the scheduled install to state that the price would increase due to more materials needed for the replacement... huh? They called BEFORE they arrived to tell me that the quote they provided was not correct and it would be more money? I inquired as to how much more it would be and was told "we won't know until we arrive and measure". I asked why, if the came out and measured for the quote, did the measurements change? The person would not tell me how or why... just they it would cost me "much more" than the quoted price. Do yourself a favor and take your buniness to someone or a company that will stand behind quotes and allow for accuracy from the start! Classic bait and switch read more

Scheduled an appointment with a 3 hour window. They missed the appointment and lied about leaving a voicemail being late. They never showed.

Initially thought they did a good job. but after the first rain I notices several gutters not draining though the downspout. I climbed a ladder and noticed several of my shingles had been cut and drip edges pulled out and missing. Called the company for an inspection of there work, send many photos. got he run around from Jay the "area manager" was accused of causing the problems relating to other work being done on home. FYI the gutters were the last project on house. I had previously installed new roof. Had old gutters removed and the house painted. Thanks gutters 4 less your workmanship quality and follow up customer service are some of the worst i have ever experienced. Stay away from this company. read more

My experience was 'mixed'. I was really impressed by the service rep 'Steve' that came out to the house for the initial contact. He was educated on 'building code'. I thought all i had needed/wanted was to change the slope of the gutter to flow from one side to the other side. But he let me know that 'code' actually requires a 50 foot run to have 2 downspouts , so all I need is another downspout and some lifting in the middle of the existing gutter. Price quote seemed high, but it was the cheapest of all I had come out. (I met with 3...the other 2 wanted to rip off my existing gutter , replace it with a new one cuzx apparently they don't know how to block where the old downspout would be removed)The other 2 I did not select were quite content to just reslope it to the other side....with no mention or apparent knowledge of 'code requirements). So 'hats off' to 'Steve' for his knowledge. Original appointment was delayed 'due to rain'(Aug 5th).it didn't rain here that day. ....but it was rescheduled for Friday Aug.8th (today) I noted I preferred the later appointment (1;30- ?) but when Jay called at 8;30am this morning he said that this could not be fulfilled. 'Crew' was coming out of Duluth and I was the earlier appt.. Fine. (not really, but what are you gonna do,right?) Verified I was paying with 'cash' (not a typical move on my part.but we're just talking adding a downspout) I was instructed previously and again today to give payment to 'project manager'. They'll charge 3.5% more if you pay with credit. So the truck w/trailer pulls up. 3 people. 2 guys and a woman. All of Hispanic/Latino/Spanish descent. (I'm not trying to be politically incorrect, I just have no idea the proper way to define their ethnicity that isn't going to offend 'someone' out there) I appreciate these people very much, generally speaking. They work harder than most Americans and know how to get things done....and they seem to enjoy it very much!) The guy I spoke with frst didn;t realy seem to have a grasp as to what was needing to be done. I had to explain it to him. There was a language barrier. And this is what really kinda irks me. Not with the guy ,himself. But the fact that there did not actually seem to be a 'project manager'. there was no 'project manager'. There should be a 'project manager' ,one who speaks fluent English. Bait and switch? Maybe. Definitely deceptive. Deceptive business practices are a crime. But we're talking a freaking downspout. God bless the guy that crawled that extension ladder on the back side of the house.it is way the heck up there. No way would I ever go up that high. i'd brought my neighbor over, he helped me explain to this 'crew' what needed to be done and 'how' it needed to go. And he was here until it was finisihed. Had to call them out near the end because the downspount was not attached tight at the bottom. the guy had not put it in the right place so the screw had nothing to hold onto when he'd drilled it in. so that got repositioned. Not that big of a deal other than that I have an extra hole in my siding that I don't need. Also had t have him add another bracket because it s a long downspount and it needs to be held tight up against the house all the way down and 2 brackets wasn't doing the job. These guys relayed that they typically just do one bracket per every floor of the house. No. you add as many brackets as you need to get that downspout tightly secured to the side of the house! This it just another thing that irks me. Paying out this kind of money (for such a simple job) and having to babysit/correct/follow behind/inspect the people who come out to do the work. This is another reason an ACTUAL 'PROJECT MANAGER is needed ON SITE! Me and my neighbor were performing the job of a project manager'....because there wasn't one. this is the thing that really irks me the most. If i was having something more than a downspout ut on and they showed up with no 'project manager' I'd have told them to leave upon their arrival. But they were good people. Not their fault the company does business this way. the crew was friendly and nice and did not argue when given direction/correction. So ,although initially, impressed by the forst contact of this company with steve. They fell flat when it came right down to it. Don't tell people a 'project manager' will be there when you don't send one. An actual 'Project Manager' is not part of the subcontracted 'crew'. Maybe I should have paid with a credit card. Cuz I feel like I should be given a refund for performing the role of being the 'Project Manager'. Would I recommend them based on my experience? No. Would I hire them again for more than just a downspout? No. they were the cheapest for what I needed/wanted done. Steve was knowledgeable.... and that was impressive. Contacted this company for house painting and gutter install. In the exterior painting quote it said they would pressure wash all surfaces before painting, which they did not do. We also had them give us a quote for whole house gutters. They gave a quote after they came out, then when they installed they only did one side of the house. They said the quote was only for one side, which was never communicated to us. We would never have had the gutters put up for that price if we had known that. So now we are stuck paying a price we were led to believe was for the full job needed but was only half of what we asked for and expected. Owner did not want to work anything out, Michelle argued a price drop for the other side that was not done but we do not want this company doing more work for us. read more

He told me what could and could not be done and the reasons why (just as important!), and Madison had an estimate back to me within 24 hours, much cheaper than I was expecting. Two workers arrived within a few days and completed the work in less than 1hour with minimal noise and disruption, both professional and competent. I couldn't be happier. read more

They showed up on time, worked very efficiently, 2 guys removed and replaced gutters and downspouts, clean up and hauled away the scrap metal in less than a day. Excellent customer service and quality work! DON'T equate the company's name to the quality. It's quite the opposite. They use the superior quality materials, but simply don't inflate the prices like other companies do. Gutters 4 Less was very responsive and affordable. Their office staff was very friendly and quick to respond. There was some miscommunication between the install crew and office and me regarding install date and time, but this was likely due mostly to rain that week. Since it's all exterior, their arrival at a different time than scheduled didn't really matter, and they worked very quickly and were thorough.
