Let's start with this company has restored my faith in humanity!!! Ryan came to my house in Moberly…read moreMo to give me a quote on my plumbing issues. I had already been quoted by another company. When amounts have commas in it I like to make sure I'm not getting ripped off. Ryan comes over I explain the situation I was having. He went through what he would look for and why he was doing it. It took him 3 seconds to find an issue with plumbing work I already had done. The brand new pipe that the other company had installed was not even attached!! He told me to call them up and I did. I was Out of my element with this request!! Well truth be told I was scared because they see people who don't know anything About plumbing a mile away!! Same way at the car dealership when you get your car worked on!! Ryan took over like we were family. He told them they had to make it right. He said you could see the pipe was not attached and you just left it. He handled them like a pro. Actually thought I was watching a superhero movie!! I was the damsel in distress and Ryan was Spider-man!!! He did not have to do that, he explained to them how to fix it the right way!!!! Then here comes Scott!! This man right here is AMAZING!! He watched them work, checked there work before they left to make sure they did it correctly. He is a wizard. He spoke to me like I did not deal with plumbing on an everyday basis . He broke it down, where I could understand what was going on!! He also made sure that I did not pay for service to be done right! He used the camera, showed me the problem!! He did not try to sell me anything. Gave me cheeper options and also said if I did not choose the company that's fine, he said that I could call him to inspect the work when it was done!! He just wanted to make sure that the problem was taken care of and I was treated like family!! I felt like they cared, I felt like they wanted to make sure the problem was fixed and I was happy weather I went with them or not!! I will tell you right now Scott should be over other worker bees. His knowledge and the way he speaks to you so that you understand exactly what's going on was amazing!! I will tell you right now if you go dollar general and buy a washcloth and it breaks down in a month or so then you have to go buy another, but if you spent a little more and bought a better washcloth and it lasts for years, you got your money's worth. I feel like every penny I spent today was worth it!!! Since they left I made sure that 15 people so far had there number. If you are thinking about this company you will not be sorry!!! I have not been so satisfied where I have given this big of a compliment in over 10 years!! Call them for your needs you will not be sorry. Also, I called the owner to tell him about the worker bees, he was so delightful. This company is amazing!! I will be telling everyone about my experience!! Also, for all you single ladies, older ladies this is the company you want. They don't lie, they are not trying to up-sale you, They definitely are trying to make sure your problem is fixed and done right!! Scott and Ryan are amazing I mean it!! When I talked to the boss, I got the same vibe!! If Scott is reading this I wish more people were like you. It was amazing how well you talked to me. How you took care of a situation and gave me all my options. I will make sure I tell everyone to use this company because of your kindness and take charge attitude. If Ryan is reading this thank you for going that extra mile. If you had not done that it would have cost me more money. I also liked how you made sure that the problem was solved and made sure your teammate knew what was going on. Which you were right he made sure I was taking care of!! There are very few people like you all anymore! For your kindness I will make sure I tell everyone about you guys, I hope you guys are overloaded with new customers!! Thanks Sara

I hired SOS Plumbing in 2025 for a water heater replacement and paid over $2,200, expecting a…read moreprofessional, code-compliant installation. Less than a year later, while selling my home, the St. Louis County occupancy inspection failed because their installation contained clear code violations, including a missing required expansion tank and a non-compliant flex connector. When I contacted SOS Plumbing, the owner told me he intentionally didn't install the required expansion tank because he was "trying to save me some money" and didn't know I was planning to sell my home. Instead of taking responsibility for the code violations, he quoted me another $800-900 to correct his own work. I refused to pay twice for the same job and hired another licensed plumbing company, paid an additional $750 to bring the installation into compliance. A homeowner shouldn't have to tell a licensed plumber they're planning to sell their home to receive a code-compliant installation. Paying premium prices should mean getting professional work done correctly the first time--not paying someone else to fix it later. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend SOS Plumbing and would urge anyone considering to think twice before trusting these 5 star reviews! Update: Since business owner replied(pretty classic "defensive rewrite of history" response): Just to be clear. please don't reframe "code compliance" as optional upgrades. Those are not "nice-to-have upgrades". they're required for compliant installation. And please stop that "budget priority" claim. That is not true. Don't try to justify omissions on your end. did not request a non-compliant installation or decline required code-compliance work. At no point was I informed that the installation would not pass occupancy inspection or that required code items were being excluded from the work performed. The water heater installation later failed occupancy inspection during the sale of my home, requiring additional work to bring it into compliance. While scope and pricing were discussed, I relied on a licensed contractor to complete a code-compliant installation and to clearly communicate any items required for compliance at the time of service. It is not reasonable to expect a homeowner to independently identify or approve hidden code deficiencies during what was represented as a standard installation. I was not seeking a "budget" or stripped-down installation. If cost-cutting was the primary expectation, I would have chosen a different contractor. The equipment installed was a Bradford White unit, which is a professional-grade water heater, not a low-cost or economy product. I specifically chose to go with this business because they have a premium brand unit available and I know this is not a budget big box store option. So please stop bringing up that "budget" claim. The business's response is misleading and not consistent with what was communicated or agreed upon at the time of service. The characterization that I declined required code-compliance work is not accurate.
