I was so excited to try this place that just opened up in Huntington. I will say the chicken is very fresh, the sauce is delicious. I had a little hiccup but the general manager was here on a Saturday night and he was amazing made everything better.

I cannot with that religious music. Otherwise it's fine, good food, slightly overpriced, but isn't everything.

Visited this location last night for an impromptu date night with my wife…read more Despite the holiday weekend, the business was busy and we had about a fifteen minute wait to be seated (they have both inside and outside waiting seating), we chose a bench outside in the cool evening air. Once our table was ready, we were notified by the hostess and seated at a high top near the bar (bar seating it first come first serve at the bar). They also have low top tables for parties of 4 to 6. Despite being close to the bar, we were still able to talk easily and noise level was acceptable. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu and made some helpful suggestions that we used. We ordered a pickle fries appetizer with ranch dipping sauce with our drinks. These came out quickly and were still hot from the fryer but they were good and the homemade ranch was really good (our server advised they make all their sauces and dips in house). For our mains, we both ordered the original burger - a half pound burger on a bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles topped with ketchup, mustard and mayo. We also opted to pay an extra fifty cents to add cheese (American for me and provolone for her). We also opted to pay an extra fee to add sweet potato fries and onion rings to our meals as opposed to fresh cut chips. The burgers were a little slow getting out and drinks began to run dry. Once our burgers came out, they looked great but mine was a little salty and I could taste the salt over the other toppings in my first bite. After that the burger leveled out and we enjoyed our meal. My wife did not like the Maple Siracha dipping sauce that came with her sweet potato fries and after trying it, I was not impressed either. All in all, a good meal at a fair price. Good place for a casual date.

I ordered a burger with meat candy (bacon) which wasn't added to the burger. Our waiter promptly brought it out on a plate and it was black and tasted burnt. The burger had a very odd flavor that was not good at all. I'm typically not too picky but I left half of it on the plate. We first tried this place in June 2025 and fell in love with the food. However, it seems to have gone downhill every time we've returned. The service has always been less than desirable, but the food has made up for it until last night. Unfortunately money is too hard to come by these days, and I don't like giving it to places that don't seem to care enough about their product or customer service and satisfaction. This place ain't cheap either! We won't be back. Hopefully they'll figure out a way to turn it around sooner than later.

First, the restaurant has a cool vibe and the people are nice. You get the feeling that the people coming and going know what they're getting when they walk in and it's what keeps them coming back. My seared tuna steak with mango salsa, carrots, and asparagus was perfectly prepared and far better than what you'd get at a chain restaurant. I forgot to mention the fries with pimento cheese as an appetizer... They were the best fries I think I've ever had. For dessert, if there's something to know about Christopher, it's that his scratch-made cheesecakes are amazing. Tonight's special was key lime cheesecake. No. Regrets. If I could stick around longer; I'd like to work my way through everything on the menu. Great options for kids too! A corndog with applesauce hit the spot. If you're in the area and haven't eaten here yet, you're missing out!

I ordered the meatloaf with sweet potato wedges and Brussels sprouts. The meatloaf was a bit on the anemic side. Imagine what you might be served at an upscale French restaurant and that is about the portion of the meatloaf, roughly the size of a tennis ball. It was very moist and quite good as were the sides. The sweet potato wedges were basically sweet potato fries with the skins on and maybe six in total. Again, fewer than expected. The house salad was great. Not just romaine with carrot shavings. It had mixed greens, including spinach, carrots, tomatoes, and cucumbers. The dressings are all made in house. Our server was attentive and fantastic. Brought refills before needing them or asking. The ambiance is definitely higher class but the dress is casual. I would definitely return.

I proceeded to order "a chicken sandwich only and an ice water." I didn't want the combo. My daughter doesn't eat fries or drink fountain drinks. After that, my partner stepped up and ordered our regular 4 piece combo with a coke zero and paid. When we left the counter we walked away with a Coke Zero and an ice water. When they called our name to pick up our order, we walked away with a box with a chicken sandwich and fries and a box with the 4 piece chicken and fries. She didn't listen when I said I only wanted the sandwich, apparently, so I checked the receipt. Sure enough she charged me for the sandwich combo, but she also charged me a quarter for the ice water. Which in my opinion, if I was charged for a meal I should have received an additional fountain drink if I was being charged for the water. My next thought was, well, I can just take this sandwich combo home for my son and I'll go up and order a single sandwich and then ask for the fountain drink I wasn't given. I went to the same cashier with my receipt and politely ordered an additional sandwich and then showed my receipt to ask for the fountain drink for which I was charged. The cashier told me she gave me everything on the receipt, that I was not owed an additional drink. I said, "You charged me a quarter for water and I still paid for a water." She replied, "I charged a quarter for water because there is no button for getting a water with a combo." Wow, just wow. I have literally never been upcharged for water. I was fine with the quarter charge as that is not an unusual practice, but that was asinine if I wasn't getting a fountain drink. Instead of apologizing and giving me a drink with my additional sandwich order, she stared. Another very young girl working walked over and offered no commentary or assistance. Cashier 300 decided to hold her ground. To which I responded this is ridiculous just let me get the plain chicken sandwich. I also said, "I will not be coming here ever again." The staff loudly talked about me behind the counter and the cashier played victim. To make matters worse, when we got home and looked at the receipt only to release I was also charged for that Coke Zero in addition to my combo when it should have been included...

Chef Hickey's return is good news to all lovers of fine food. His palate is imaginative and his food is a delight to both tongue and eye. Tapas is a new thing locally. The concept is simple. For $20 you get three tapas "plates" delivered five minutes apart. Each plate contains a small serving of an elegant dish. We had beef with bleu cheese, salmon with peppers, tomato and mozzarella, chicken piccata, a simply wonderful clam chowder and bread pudding (my personal weakness). Each plate was presented promptly and the care with which each was constructed was evident. This is fine cookery at its best! The only weakness is the bar, which is still being fitted. There was only one draft - Blue Moon, but more is coming, I understand. The tapas plates change on Friday, so there should be a lot of variety. Excellent. Just excellent.
