Located on the same side of the river as the leaning tower, this small restaurant doesn't look like more than a takeaway from the front. Albeit small, it has a few tables in which the staff will politely take your order in Italian as well as in English.
The menu is mainly pizza based, but there is a great selection. I tried the diavolo (spicy salami) which I watched being made, only taking 15 minutes after order, and was a great introduction to my first pizza in Italy. Great flavours, hot, and a brilliant pizza base!
For 2 pizzas, beers, tiramisu and a large bottle of water, it only came to €27! A brilliant price for a meal that was delicious, was made quickly and had friendly staff!
Whilst it mainly acts as a takeaway, many people dropping by and picking up orders, the staff are busy and won't hang around for a chat with perfect service. If you want a table, get there early or be prepared to wait!
But, for a quick and brilliant meal and a bargain price, then definitely try it out, you won't be disappointed! read more
