Very service minded staff and good food. Perfect for families. Small but fine menu. I had a salad fresh and nice and my kids pasta with ragù. Busy place and relaxing to just sit there and let the kids eat and enjoy them self

They don't open until 7:30pm and close at 12am. This place gets very busy starting around 8pm, so I suggest coming when they open their doors if you definitely want to get a table. You can also make reservations. I tried to eat here the other night and arrived at 8:45pm. I was alone and couldn't get a seat until 10pm, so I went elsewhere. Tonight I wanted to try something different so I ordered the pizza with Pomodoro (tomato), mozzarella, melanzane (eggplant), accuighe (anchovies), olive nere (black olives) and salame piccante (spicy salami). It was very good, but maybe a bit too strong on the anchovies for my taste. The interior of this pizzeria is very attractive. This place is in my collection of favorite places to eat in Viareggio.

The kind owner told us it would be about a 15 minute wait. Sure, no problemo. He cleared a table for us on the terrace and handed us the menu. Whoa, never seen so many options on a menu. There must have been at least a 100 different pizza's on it! The manager guy was sweating and running around, but was super friendly and was chatting with absolutely everyone. I could tell he has heart for his business. I opted for the cappriosca pizza (excuse my Italian, no idea if I spelled that correctly) and it was super thin and tasty. There were WAY too many olives on there though, which was too overpowering. Also the pizza was a bit sloppy, and could not be eaten by slice. So nope, not the best pizza I had in Tuscany, but a very enjoyable experience!

Not a very child friendly place, I know smal kids make a lot of noise when they are tired but we felt kind of hidden away and the waiter was not very pleased with having our table. Big minus was that they forgot one of the kids food, and she had to wait for it for quite some time after we reminded them about it. But if I was alone or just Adults I would definitely come back since the food was amazing and not overly pricey

Eventually, the owner came over to us and gave us a very nice seat outside. We first got some white wine called " il Monticello" and it was absolutely perfect. It was the perfect texture. Would definitely recommend it. For our appetizers, we had some mixed fried fish and , in my opinion, there was not enough crispiness. Although the inside was good. Then they brought my main course, I had ordered the cazole. It was my first ever cazole and I love it! Everything was perfect and I enjoyed it very much. Overall, this dinner experience has been amazing. The food here is a 10/10 and I would definitely recommend it to others. The waiting though was above average and worth it. And the price value for everything was good. I've had a wonderful time at this lovely place especially at the end were the wonder came over and had a small chat with us.

DO NOT EAT HERE UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES PLS READ…read more I was in Viareggio for a weekend in total - the "La Chiesina" was the 4th Pizzeria I went to. My expectations were not too high, as I haven't heard much good of the place. Nonetheless I found myself in there, first off almost not getting shown a table by the waiters. The one assigned to myself was not giving out any signs in particular that he was either happy with his current work (to no surprise to be blatantly honest) or that he wanted to serve us (eventhough us, the customers are the reason that he's not homeless - he looked like he was though.) He messed up our orders that he actually had to console us a total of three times to get them straight and still forgot the whisky I ordered, I gave up on that for the better of us both. The funniest part was that the waiter just put the freaking plates on the table, we had to get them ourselves. But onwards to the food: the waiting time was ridiculously long - 35 mins for the salads - another 20 for the Pizza. Salads were terrible, almost no dressing on them - oh we didn't get any bread at all with them either. The Pizza was the only cause that could be considered remotely good - taste was good. Anything else was one of the worst Pizzeria-experiences I've ever had. If I could give this "restaurant" 0 stars through I would
