As soon as we were settled in, our waiter brought us a small "welcome dish" from the chef that he described to us a typical Tuscan soup. I don't know what it was called but it was delicious! For our food, we ordered their tordelli with meat ragu sauce after our waiter informed us it's a typical type of ravioli in that region. You'll quickly learn as you travel through Italy that each region and often many towns and cities have their own unique ways of creating their pasta dishes that you can only find in that region. The recommendation was a good one because the dish was delicious! For our main, we ordered the Pork Steak Senese which consisted of pre-cut grilled pork with parmesan and balsmamic and grilled trevisano (a type of leafy green).
