Big Spacious vibrant mall. Plenty of brand stores and third party stores with great inventory in all . Great food court selections for dining. Pricing varies depending on store and staff were friendly in the stores I frequented.

Third visit of 2024 while visiting the State of Illinois! Easy parking outside, simple to navigate and maneuver around in. Store Directory is user friendly and helpful to find the preferred stores... Went first to the Under Armour Factory Outlet store and bought a whole bunch of Project Rock Shirts that were on sale for 50% off, UA gloves, and shoes that were on clearance!!! Very good deals. Then went to the American Eagle store, Bass Pro, NIKE, Five Below, Marshall's, Starbucks, and LIDS. Bought some nice new threads, colognes, socks, sweatshirts, Joggers and snacks from the stores we went to. Pretty goods we got, all in all! It was a decent, enjoyable and pleasant shopping experience for the family!

My husband and I had some time to spend before meeting some friends, so we decided to go to Gurnee Mills shopping center. It had been a few years since I had been there. I had forgotten how large this mall is and how many shopping and dining options there are, both inside the mall and on the perimeter. We decided to go to Macy's and do some holiday shopping. We always look forward to seeing what bargains we can find there. We did find some deals and left loaded down. We found what we were looking for at Gurnee Mills shopping center, and I highly recommend it for all of your shopping needs!

A big and prominent Rainforest Cafe on the premises.

We were in the area for a weekday dinner and decided to swing by here on a whim after dinner. It was just a random opportunity, and we thought we might visit the Corningware outlet we thought was here, but learned it had been closed years ago lol. I was pleasantly surprised though at the vibrancy and popularity of this indoor mall. Many indoor malls have been on their death beds for years, but this one is an exception. Lots of shoppers and hardly any store vacancies here, and this is a big indoor mall. I won't make any racist sounding statements, but my guess is the area just has the right demographics of residents and shoppers who aren't internet shoppers and simply prefer shopping the old fashioned brick-and-mortar way. They also have a commensurately large food court. I personally wouldn't want to be here on the weekends which I presume are crowded. It was heartening to me to see an indoor mall with some life, so kudos to Gurnee Mills and best of luck.

This place have changed a lot. When I was a teenager, I used to work at this mall. So many good memories. They have remodeled and looks more modern but it doesn't seem to be as crowded as I remembered how it used to be. I do like the new look and so many new stores and different food stalls in the food court. Value wise you can get some good deals if you shop wisely. Better mall than other places I've been to. Definitely check this place out for yourself. I wish they just made a circle mall so you end up where you started rather than turning around walking back to get to where you started. Otherwise it's a good exercise walking back and forth while shopping.

Checked out this mall in Waukegan and left without much of anything. It pretty much is hanging on…read morefor life to be honest. Belvidere Discount Mall is a crapfest. Has cheaply made trinkets and other junk. There's also clothing but who knows what kind of quality. Basically it used to be a better mall when it had actual stores people heard of, instead of whatever it is they have. It's more like a Mexican flea market. There's a lot of family owned businesses inside, mostly selling clothes and trinkets. An interesting history about it. The mall opened in 1965 as one of the first in the Chicago area, and at first it was quite successful. It was also the first enclosed mall in Lake County. Soon newer malls opened and it was in trouble. Montgomery Ward was the original anchor. The 1980s was bad as they and other stores left. It's now a Home Depot. There's a lot of empty space. A lot is clustered together at one end. The stores include jewelry, makeup, and cheap stuff. Good that it has found a way to remain open, but it needs lots of help. It's located on Belvidere Road at Lewis. They're open daily from the morning to evening, but many stores have erratic hours so it's like the hours are a suggestion or whatever.

My feel of it was those aggressive kiosk people at the mall all living in one giant space to attack any incoming customers. Someone needs to turn this into something cool or make it an outlet spot for retailers. It's sketch.

This store is huge! It's at least 3 times as large as your average Salvation Army. Men's section is…read morebig and has a decent amount of high-fashion clothes. But the women's section takes up nearly half the store. It took me a long time to look through everything which isn't always great because they had a lot of junk on the racks. Service was nice everyone seems to always be working but all you have to do is ring the bell up front when you're ready to check out and someone will come to assist you. One of the employees gives me student discount on Mondays so that's super cool. I think my favorite part about Salvation Army are their sales. They have a sale color weekly so they can cycle through donations and usually the sale is half off. Thrift stores are a hit or miss, but this one is definitely worth checking out.

these people treated me horribly. I asked for a price on a VERY worn down side table. Water damage,…read morestains, things falling apart. There was no tag so i asked a price and the lady helping said $40 I said that's too expensive and that I'd go somewhere else because I know there's one for cheaper at a different thrift store. She bumped it down to $25 so I said sure. I paid. Waited 30 MINUTES watching workers with empty trollies passing me multiple times, so I asked ANOTHER worker. Finally a man brings one and starts loading it and that's when I'm told "oh you gotta bring your car around to the back and I can't lift it into the car" I WISH SOMEONE TOLD ME BEFORE HAND. So I drove to what I thought the back was, and then walked around to the front again because no one was there. I asked a worker and started to state my concerns. SHE CUTA ME OFF, TURNS AROUND AND LEAVES. And I see the man again. That's when they tell me "oh you gotta take the side street to get to the back back" So I walk all the way back to my car and I pull up. I am extremely frustrated at this point for how they're treating me and the horrible communication. So I show that frustration. I start loading my desk in the car and then the guy is holding onto it as if I didn't pay and is forcing himself trying to help me. I told him MULTIPLE TIMES "stop, I got this" "you said it yourself it's against policy. You make me do all this and NOW you decide to -help-???" "Leave me alone! LEAVE ME ALONE!" I had to hit his fingers to get him to let go. I'm telling them they have shit communication and have horrible customer service. Waiting half an hour to be forgotten about and having to remind them that "hey. I'm still here.... I said I was ready..... I've been waiting over 30 minutes" I usually don't get upset like this until I'm pushed beyond breaking point. Never going here again! Edit: I will NEVER give you guys another chance and I'll be warning everyone I talk to about this location and to steer clear. F you guys and your team
