The atmosphere has a very upscale feel while still being comfortable and welcoming. They offer a great variety of cocktails, beer, and wine, making it a perfect place for a casual night out, date night, or a place to relax with friends. Their food options are also impressive, with everything from small bites and finger foods to more filling dinner options. This is great because the staff is always so kind and welcoming. Our personal favorites have been the charcuterie board and the pizzas, both of which are always a great choice. Overall, The Red Feather is a fantastic local spot with great drinks, great food, and a polished atmosphere that makes every visit enjoyable.

Absolutely never again…read more The beer was the biggest disappointment. We tried a flight of four different beers, and every single one was bitter and had an unpleasant aftertaste. I'd generously rate the beer a 2/10. It was also overpriced. They didn't have flight glasses (restaurant was empty ) so they served the beer in plastic cups The food wasn't much better. The burger buns were dry and chalky, the burger was overcooked, and one of the burgers came out completely wrong. For two burgers with fries, a flight of four beers, and a water, our total was about $70 (including an 18% tip). For the quality we received, it wasn't worth the price. Overall, the beer, food, and value were all disappointing. We won't be back.

The venue has a modern, welcoming atmosphere with contemporary artwork, unique furnishings, and thoughtful décor that gives the space a distinctive character without feeling pretentious. We enjoyed two wine flights and found several favorites. The Peach Wine and Blackberry Wine were both excellent, and we especially enjoyed the Tempranillo Wine. The charcuterie board paired well with the tasting and made for a relaxing afternoon. The pricing was very reasonable. For two flights, a charcuterie board, and two bottles of wine, our total came to about $117, which felt fair and comparable to similar wineries in North Texas. If you live in or around Van Alstyne, this is a great local spot to unwind, enjoy some quality wine, and appreciate a little piece of wine country in your own backyard. We'll definitely be back.
