I've taken my Jeep here twice and they were awesome. They were very polite. The 1st time I took my Jeep it was during COVID and they were short on windshields(do to the shortage). It took about an hour to replace and had to wait about to for the windshield to set. Then I was on my way. I took my Durango in May to have the windshield replaced(had a dozen cracks). They were awesome again. During the same week I brought my Jeep back in for another cracked windshield. Again very nice and asked if I needed anything. I will keep going here to have my windshield replaced. Thank you for everything you do. read more

It sucks that this is the only place in Gunnison that will replace windshields, the receptionist is extremely rude, doesn't listen, and will likely get the wrong windshield for your car and then tell you it's because you gave them the wrong model. They charge more than any other windshield repair place does, their website is terrible and the only way to get in contact with them is by leaving a voicemail and playing phone tag with them for a week. Get your windshield fixed/replaced somewhere else if possible! read more

Called for a simple windshield repair, but instead, I was met with a voice--wet, guttural, oozing with contempt. 'Too big! Needs replacing!' she screeched, like a creature starved of commission checks. No help. No options. Just a demand for more money. This isn't an auto glass shop. It's a roadside scam masquerading as a business, preying on anyone desperate enough to call. They don't repair windshields--they just shatter trust. Avoid this place like a deer avoids oncoming traffic. read more

We needed to replace the windshield on our vehicle and wanted to reach out to the 2 local companies to get an idea of when we might get in. The woman that answered the phone was so completely rude that I was taken aback! Why would a company have someone in this position that cannot even communicate a simple request like " when might we be able to get in for a replacement estimate?" I have no idea about the actual technicians here, because I would never want to encounter this gal in person! Gunnison is a small town and word of mouth means a lot! read more

If I could leave no stars, I would. This company is literally the absolute worst. Worst in every aspect of the word... the quality of work, terrible, the customer service, oh My gosh, you can't even call it that. These people are miserable evil souls. I could go on for hours but don't want to waste any more of my energy. Just. don't. Do. It!!!! Literally, drive to freaking Denver if you have to! read more

We alway take all our vehicles to Gunnison Auto Glass. Kenny does an absolutely fantastic job. They are always warm and friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend them! read more

My first experience with Gunnison Auto Glass felt like some clandestine meeting to discuss some sort of top secret exchange of illegal documents instead of a simple insurance claim. The women was a bit twitchy and wouldn't let me see her paperwork, holding her clipboard tight to her chest. I explained that progressive had some questions and I needed a claim number that I didn't have. I was scolded that I didn't understand the process. We made an appointment anyways for 2 weeks from this meeting. I arrived 10 minutes late to the appointment on a snowy day, and was told 5 times that I had created stress for her installer (husband). Literally 5 times. I apologize and explained about the slippery roads and the multiple accidents and that I would be happy to wait the extra time as I had scheduled the day to sit in their waiting room and work on my computer. With a big frown she said that it was creating more stress and they might not get to it at all and scolded me again for being late. I said it was probably best if they didn't do the install which she curtly replied "fine". I left without comment and without a new windshield. Pretty surprised to be treated so poorly in Gunnison, which I think is one of the more friendly places I've been ever. It is part of why I live in this valley. My wife had a similar bad experience. Don't let these guys ruin your day. Progressive WTF are you doing giving these clowns a preferred vendor status. It reflects on you as well. read more

Receptionist was absolutely rude! I made an appointment. My insurance requested a quote. When I called back to ask for the quote to be sent by email for insurance purposes, she said she was too busy and would only give it by phone. Then she hung up!!! Complete lack of respect and compassion and totally rude service! read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. For a local company these people obviously don't want money. Absolutely rude horrible customer service. Made an appointment and showed up for it to be told by a snotty front desk lady that I didn't have an appointment and never made one. And then she kept asking about some guy I've never heard of and telling me they don't work with my insurance company which I already knew as the man I scheduled an appointment with had already informed me. I was prepared to pay out of pocket in which I informed them for the second time. Will never do business with this rude local company again and won't be referring anyone else there either. read more

I have used Gunnison Auto Glass many times to replace my windshield. Every time Lynn and Kenny are very helpful!

We broke a back window on our truck during hunting. The window would have to be ordered so they weren't able to fix it day-of, but Kenny put on a temporary fix for us to get us back from hunting, free of charge. Friendly people with great service: the perfect example of the great part of getting to live in a small town. Thanks so much for the help! read more

Do NOT do business with this company. Lynn is extremely uncooperative. She hangs up on you and the insurance company!! Any business that operates like this does not deserve your business. Safelight and the insurance company are good to work with. Lynn, Kenney's wife, is the problem. I've done business with Ken before, no problem. As soon as she gets involved everything goes to hell. Causes trouble with timing and pay. More than once she said to have someone else do the work! Her reputation to work with insurance companies proceeds her also. Very uncooperative and won't work with other parties involved. They will be reported to safelight as a company they shouldn't do business with as I'm not the only one she's done this to. How they stay in business is beyond me. read more

After having my windshield replaced, my Dashboard, A-pillar, and Rain Gutters all rattle like crazy. Come to find out, this place broke most of the trim tabs durring the install. read more

Extremely rude!!!!! It took them two days to call me back about the crack in my windshield. When I began telling her about the crack in my windshield and my concern for driving across country with it she withdrew from talking to me, began talking over me and told me to call when I decide to replace it. Then she HUNG UP ON ME. Why you should not support this small business: 1. She only wants my service and therefore refused to provide safety advice. 2. Her communication skills were rude, she talked over me and then hung up on me. * context: I was not rude at all. I only told her my situation then asked if it is safe to drive. She refused to give me any advice. Her actions were completely unwarranted. Please only support businesses who actually care about people, unlike this one. read more

Front desk woman, extremely rude, treated me with zero respect when I was inquiring about the process to get a quote. From prior business with Kenny, its been a 5 star experience but the wretched rude woman was very negative and ruined any future business from many locals I have heard from. read more

If there were 6 stars, that's what i would give Gunnison Auto Glass. My windshield was smashed in, glass all over inside, rearview mirror knocked off, a huge mess. When I picked up my car, it looked like it had been professionally detailed. My car hasn't looked so good since I bought it. The price even ended up being less than I was quoted. Turned a sad situation into not so bad. Thanks, K and L! read more
