My favorite quick stop place to have a nice little meal! I stopped here before the gym to get a snack and their bulgogi kimbap never disappoints! Their service is quick and they're always so friendly. The place has decent seating and they're very clean! Highly recommend.

love this place! It's so good and the food truly does taste healthy. Less sodium and oils. I always get the hot veggie bibimbap. But here is why I give it 4 stars. I typically add tofu to this dish and the first time I went, the employee asked the owner and she said yes but it's an extra $2 which I am totally ok with paying. But every time I go now, which at one point was everyday in the week, they tell me I can't do it or it's not allowed. At one point, they forgot the egg and didn't have some of the veggies. When I asked, they said they ran out. Wish it was more transparent since I've memorized the dish and know what is missing. What if you are new and don't know what is missing in the dish? The portion is perfect. And the taste has been consistent. The kimchi is perfect for me as it's not spicy and it's made in-house. You can even order a jar to go home. They have 50% off veggie Gimbap weekdays when you buy an entree and also price drops for kids meal with purchase of an entree. The strawberry mint tea is so good too! It does have caffeine. They have Korean drinks, juices, and desserts.

Centennial has a gem of a Korean spot in Gung Chae!! It was so hard to choose what to eat. We ordered behind 2 other ladies and as soon as we saw their bowls we followed suit. I also ordered a spicy chicken kimbap (we just finished yoga in Lee Canyon and I was starving but my eyes were bigger than my stomach). The bowl comes with house made kimchi and salad as a side and it's so delicious. The hot stone kind of toasts the rice a little which gave it such an amazing flavor. I will be back!!! Great service and we were asked if we had questions lol because I'm sure we looked indecisive. The cashier read the moment very well and was super nice. Open kitchen for the win also.

Second time ordering via DoorDash/postmates and the food always arrives fresh and hot, always adds utensils and the stews always are full of flavor and such a comfort food while the kids and I are sick. Did not get a chance to take actual pictures of the food because both times we have been sick but I've attached what I've ordered and I highly recommend this place. The last lychee refresher I got I wasn't really a fan of but it's due to personal preference I can see others loving it. But my God the food is soo soo good!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. We are vegan so our options are limited but my partner really wanted to eat here. Vegetarian items are marked either a green leaf the you tell the staff to hold the egg. Next time I would let them know I like spice as except for the kimchi it was rather bland.

Great option for Korean food without having to go to Spring Mtn.! Over two trips, I ordered the sullungtang and kimchi jjigae for my parents, and a combo B with seafood stew and galbi and a beef kalguksu for us. They were all great. My parents liked the sullungtang, although my mom said they put regular noodles in it, instead of glass noodles. We brought home the broth from the beef kalguksu (5/5) and I used it to make dduk mandoo soup with it. Yum! Also brought home the leftover seafood soondooboo 4/5) and the galbi (4/5), which made for a perfect lunch the day after. A great addition to the northwest. In the Trader Joe's parking lot so parking is a non-issue.

Absolutely a beautiful experience. Best food experience we've had in a long time time the food was so authentic and it came out with all the high quality utensils and cookware . The bathrooms and restaurant were clean and it gave off such a nice traditional vibe. What a blessing. Thank you for healing my family

The quick service was clean and well organized. The how to decor was interesting to see the process of how their products are made. The soup was seasoned but no salt which was perfect for me. Their kimchi was perfect not too spicy and full of flavor. The coleslaw side salad was light and left me wanting more. The rice was fluffy and slightly sticky. Their portions are plentiful and we could have had leftovers but kept going back for more. We will be back to try the rest of the menu.

I'm in this plaza regularly to go to Trader Joes and recently saw this spot open up - it's a fast casual Korean spot with a healthy slant. Based on other reviews here, they seem to have a pretty straightforward menu with a more approachable flavor profile. I came in on a cold day after a nearby workout and ordered the kimchi tofu stew (came with rice, extra kimchi, and a cabbage salad) and the spicy chicken kimbap, total was about $20. If you dine in, your meal will come out in the traditional metal and ceramic dishes. The kimbap is packed for takeout. The soup was good, served bubbling hot, and I took about half of the portion home. The kimbap held up well, and I thought the spicy chicken filling was okay - I haven't really seen it elsewhere, would consider coming back to try the bulgogi version on another visit. Service was polite, location was clean, they have a self service drink station with takeout boxes ready to go. They have a second location in Henderson as well.

This place is so cute! I got the combo a meal box with chicken and the soft tofu stew! I'm excited to try everything out! im getting the kimbap as well with the veggies! this place is so cute i'm very excited. Mid waiting for my meal - our drinks came out like almost after our food which was weird but it's ok! but one thing i didn't like was when i asked if the order that was called which was our number, was ours - the girl keona kind of snapped at me and told me no yours isn't even done. So... kinda weird.... Leilah was super nice though!

Food 4/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 4/5 The good: all dishes were tasted like "traditional" Korean dishes, the banchan was good as well, kimchi tasted a little over-fermented for our liking but good otherwise. They do have the stone hot pot dishes that we will have to try when we come back again.

Gung Chae Korean Healthy Kitchen (at this time) has two locations. One in Henderson and one in the Centennial part of Las Vegas. The Centennial location is small and casual. You order and pay at the counter and seat yourself or do take out. We tried a Spicy Chicken and a Bulgogi Hot Stone Pot Bibimbap. They came with fresh crisp cabbage salad, Kimchi and Korean Hot sauce (not too hot). We also shared a Banchan Combo. Portions are generous and we took some home. We were impressed with the spicy chicken. It didn't get over cooked in the HOT bowl and was really DELICIOUS. The bulgogi was ok but not nearly as flavorful as the spicy chicken. The people working there were nice and asked how things were. The only issue that could possibly be a problem for some people is that the food trays might be too heavy for a few people to carry to their tables. It's really great to have this new casual restaurant in the area. I'll return and recommend.

Bulgogi Bibimbap, comes with salad & kimchi $15.99 on 1/8/25.

They have a see thru window where you're able to see the kitchen where the associates are making fresh batch noodles constantly thru out the day. What we ordered ~ Beef Pancake ~ potstickers. Highly recommended as an appetizer. Really big and fully filled along super juicy. Caution when biting into it. The juice in the dumpling will possibly squirt out. lol. That happened to mee. I'd recommend the description to mentioned it's a filled dumpling soup type of potstickers. ~ Shàng Beef Noodle is yummy. Filled with lots of beef along bok choy and Noods. ~ Wonton Soup and added noodles for an additional charge of $ 3 Restaurant is big and spacious with a bar like table stool along w a long regular height table and wooden bench. Service is pretty fast and friendly. It's a really nice clean with a modern Chinese noodle restaurant vibe. There was a wait but our friend got us on the Wait List thru Yelp. It can be a wait as long as 2 hours if you just come. We were on the waitlist for 1 1/2 hour and waited additional 20 mins b4 getting seated. Decent amount of parking available. Located a few doors down from OMG Tea lab/boba shop.

We didn't really look into it, but saw that they had udon which my son loves. Everything was delicious and freshly made. I kept telling my husband, "This place is legit!" From the Japanese chefs and kind waitress, to the music, and, of course, the food. The ohitashi was a nice start with just the right amount of dashi to bring out the flavors of the veggies. I had the kimchi udon hot pot which comes with pork. I thought it was going to be slices of pork, but it was actually chashu that you would find in ramen! The chashu was tender and the broth was amazing. When I say amazing, it wasn't overly salty where it makes you feel bloated afterwards. My husband enjoyed his salmon avocado poke bowl as well. The kids had kake udon and a beef bowl, which they devoured. Glad we found this place!

This was my second time around and we went in as a big group of nine (seven adults and two kids)…read more We were seated in the main dining area and high chair was already placed for us at the end of the table. Our waitress and waiter were both very nice. Service is great here. I have no complaints regarding that! I started by ordering their Hot Tea Pot in the Genmaicha Tea, which is refillable ($3). The tea was good. I must've had it refilled about three times. The husband got the Asahi draft. For the food orders, we started with the cholegi salad, takoyaki, and chicken karaage. While the cholegi salad was good, I'd have to say I've had better chicken karaage elsewhere. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to skip the chicken karaage next time. It was lacking in flavor so I asked for table salt to sprinkle on top of it. For the main dish, our party ordered beef sukiyaki udon, tendon, tuna and avocado poke don, nabeyaki udon, and kake udon. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. For dessert, we got everything that was on the menu so that we could sample them. I particularly enjoyed their matcha pudding in that it was more than what the picture showed. There were layers of azuki beans and black sugar syrup underneath the green pudding. This one was my favorite! The sweet potato ice cream was the party's favorite. Overall, I really like the vibe of this restaurant. I'll be back again to try other things on the menu that I didn't get to try this time.
