Stopped by for the first time and there was plenty of parking. The layout is nice open space and a lot of tables. The restrooms were very clean and well maintained. Marlon assisted us and was very nice. The whole staff helped us with checking ingredients for our food allergies and I appreciate that so much! I went with "The Don" which was the braised beef with ginger, green onions and rice. So good! Like Yoshinoya but bigger servings, more flavor and already has ginger. You can also choose the type of rice. I went with classic white rice. Comes with potato sald which was delicious as well. It ls on the sweeter side and is cold and creamy. A great lunch. Thank you!

A place with "rice" in the name should make sure to make good rice. Ordered the teriyaki chicken and my husband ordered the spicy chicken. Both bowls had DRY and HARD rice with way too much sauce. Don't get me started on the potato salad. YUCK! It was basically lumpy mashed potatoes with tons of mayo and green onion. They also need to get better forks and spoons. They are so flimsy and cheap, we couldn't even eat without them bending and dropping the food. Sad!

Honestly I was a lil worried based on the photos, but we were really happy with our meal. I got the teriyaki chicken, the potato salad was solid and the chicken was really good too. I only wish more teriyaki was added. The spicy teriyaki was ok too but not better than the regular teriyaki. Would def come back. Reasonably priced and great portion.

I seen this place a few times but always passed by it, today i went in, super clean area inside, the floor was super clean, along with tables but was slow as it seemed. Diego V is the one who charged my order and was amazing! super attentive and helpful since it was my first time ordering! I order the food to-go and no complaints the Katsu is super flavorful and crispy, and the steak is a bit salty but really nice and tender! Also a lady with colorful hair, made my taro milk tea and it was amazing! especially the tapioca is super chewy and amazing quality (if you've been to tea maison, almost identical to the same honey boba) will definitely be coming back! and huge portion size!

The food was fresh and the inside was well kept clean and the service was great. Tried the chicken katsu and chicken teriyaki along with the Taro Milk Tea. Everything was great. Will definitely be back again

From the customer service to the food, everything has always been on point. If you ask them, they'll tell you I eat here pretty often -- and I'll probably be back again today after work. Rice Bros just opened, and with any new restaurant there are always going to be a few kinks to work out. That's normal. Also, judging a spot based on delivery alone usually isn't fair since the food is never going to be at its absolute best compared to dining in.

First time ordering here. This is suppose to be chicken cutlet. This looks like batter w/ a little chicken. Cmon BRO. This not a good look.

First time ordering here and this ain't katsu bruh. Gotta do better bro. Picture attached is what I received vs what a cutlet is supposed to look. I don't expect it identical, but I do expect a fillet. IMO

So I'm not gonna lie, this is not a picture of my food because it was so good that I ate it all lol! but I did order the teriyaki chicken bowl with half rice half salad and the macaroni salad on the side. The owner spoke to me, and he really takes pride in all the healthy ingredients! I love ginger so I got some extra on the side along with the dressing. Bon appétit!

Must try!!!! The best gyudon!!! Chicken so juicy and tender and the beef teryaki perfect balance of salty and not too sweet! can't wait to go back!

    Just burnt horrible Katsu chicken
    Matt T.

No, I've tried this place once before I got the teriyaki chicken. It was very average but the potato salad was amazing so I wanted to try it again this time I got the Katsu chicken and the problems started right from the beginning as I sat there and waited for my order I seen the worker that was making my order cut his hand. He washed it off at the sink and then kept making my order no gloves nothing so immediately I was watching everything that he did from that point on then he prepared my food with no gloves, and with a cut on his hand, and the Cat chicken portion was a nice size he sliced up and played it, then proceeded to put sauce all over it. I asked is that how you do things all the time because I would've preferred my sauce on the side it seems like since the Katsu chicken is breaded to soak it in sauce. It's just gonna make it soggy now by the time I get home so I get home and it is very soggy just like I expected, and the sauce was horrible in my opinion not the kind of sauce that I would like on Katsu so now my food is un edible because I can't eat this with all this sauce that taste this bad on top of it. Now I've tried to support them because I met the owner the first time and he seems like a nice guy trying to start his business, but I just can't support when the product comes out like this and it taste this bad I've gave them two chances and I've been very unsatisfied both times and I will not be ever going back.

The only thing that stood out during that visit was that our server made us feel like we were ordering too much while taking our order, which was a little uncomfortable. Still, I enjoyed the food enough that I decided to come back for takeout. Unfortunately, my second experience changed my impression of the restaurant. I placed a takeout order totaling about $70 and waited at one of the many empty tables while my food was being prepared. There were no customers waiting to be seated, yet a staff member approached me and told me that the waiting area was by the door. I found that unnecessary and honestly quite offensive. I wasn't occupying a table that anyone needed, and I was simply waiting quietly for an order I had just spent a significant amount of money on. Prior to being shooed to leave the dining area, she asked if I would just come back for my order. Lol! It's disappointing to feel like takeout customers are treated differently, especially when they're supporting the business just the same. Not sure if it's a cultural way of doing business but it was tacky and unprofessional. The food is good, but customer service is just as important. I hope management reconsiders how they treat guests picking up takeout, because experiences like this can easily overshadow an otherwise enjoyable meal. I give their food 3.5/5, price 2.5/5, location 2/5 (next to a donation place) customer service 1/5, and business ethics ZERO.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for either a casual dinner or a date night. I ordered the chicken katsu, and it was everything you want in a great katsu -- perfectly golden, ultra-crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy inside. You could actually hear the crunch with every bite. The tonkatsu sauce paired beautifully, adding just the right balance of sweet and savory without overpowering the chicken. The portions were generous (come hungry!), and I loved that the meal came with rice and fried rice -- because honestly, why choose just one? Both were flavorful, fluffy, and clearly made fresh. Across the table, the steak looked incredible -- cooked well, nicely seasoned, and plated simply so the quality of the meat could shine. Everything tasted homemade rather than overly commercial, which is something I always appreciate. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the food came out quickly while still tasting freshly prepared -- a combo that isn't always easy to find.

They have no idea what they're in for. Lol I eat A LOT of sushi. I was given a lunch menu today. It said I could get spicy tuna roll and 6 sushi. I asked if I could get nigiri. My waiter didn't quite do an eye roll, but he did tell me nigiri is sushi. My bad! Lol Ok so I asked if I could get 6 eel nigiri, and he said it was chef's choice. He asked my sushi chef and he said no, but he would do half. I thought that was generous of him and thanked him. I also ordered a side of kimchi. I was given a little tray of wasabi, ginger and marinated cucumbers along with my kimchi. The kimchi was surprisingly light and not spicy at all. It tasted fresh as did my ginger soy cucumber slices. What a perfect start! And then came my meal. It was stunning. Glistening eel with generous portions is what I dug into first. My other sushi chef caramelized the eel sauce on my nigiri last time. This chef did not. I didn't dare say anything as it was clear my chef was the senior, but the other fellow did a really beautiful job last time. It makes such a difference. I'll try to get the younger guy next time. Now having said that, it was still sweet, fresh, vibrant and divine. Next came my tuna, yellowtail and salmon nigiri. They were all succulent and the salmon made me melt a little. It was so tender and just exceptional. I loaded my spicy tuna with pickled ginger and wasabi and the sesame oil shined. I called ahead with a simple question and was left on hold for about six minutes. When I called back, there was no apology -- just a quick answer followed by being hung up on. Not a great first impression. When I arrived, the restaurant itself looked okay, but definitely not high-end. My table wasn't properly cleaned, and even the sanitizer bottle on the table was dirty. After being seated, I had to ask multiple times (three times) just to get a menu. I was told to scan a QR code instead, but when I requested a physical menu, it felt like an inconvenience to them. The issues didn't stop there -- my water glass was dirty, and when I ordered, I noticed price discrepancies between the QR menu and the paper order sheet. When I pointed this out, instead of clarifying or apologizing, I was told I didn't know how to use the menu, which was honestly frustrating and unprofessional. As for the food -- it wasn't bad, but for the price, it should be better. The sushi rolls were small and pretty standard, nothing unique or memorable. I also had to ask multiple times for basic items like wasabi and ginger. Overall, the service was the biggest problem here. With better customer service and attention to cleanliness, this place could improve, but based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend it.

I went with the 12 piece toku-jo sushi, which is essentially the chef's selection of their best offerings. The assortment was so creative and eclectic. I have been eating sushi for years, and there were some pieces I didn't recognize. But everything was downright delicious and so fresh, including one of the most yummy fatty pieces of otoro I have ever had! The staff are so sweet and attentive. There were several ladies who seemed to be sharing hostess and server duties. All were so kind and struck the perfect balance between ensuring everything with the experience was perfect, but not being too overbearing or obtrusive. One of the sushi chefs even came out to personally deliver a dish to the table next to me, and she made a quick stop to ask me if I was enjoying her creations. The downsides. I was by myself and arrived just after opening at about 5:20pm. The place was totally empty except for one single table. I didn't have a reservation, and the hostess was really agonizing about seating me. I was by myself and the place was empty! She even had to go in back and presumably speak with the manager or the chefs to get approval to seat me, which she finally did. But by the time I departed at about 6:15pm, only one other table had arrived and seated! I just find stuff like that annoying. But I guess they take their reservation policy seriously, so just call ahead, especially if you are a group. It appears they are closing soon for renovations. I sure hope that includes upgrading their air conditioning. Granted I visited on a 113 degree day, but the A/C system was not keeping up. I was sweating at my table, and actually accelerated my eating so I could leave and get back into he comfort of the cold AC of my car. It was that hot in there.
