This place is new when I found it because they sell Gyudon. I LOVE Gyudon!!! The thing about Gyudon is that it's a really fatty meat. Like there's 60% fat & 40% meat. When I make mine at home it's 70-80% meat. I just LOVE the flavor of Gyudon. It beats any teriyaki flavored food that I've eaten. Now about this place...it's clean! The service here is good. The food is actually good. They are pretty quick in service also. They play island music if you from Hawaii. Overall....pretty good place. I think I like it more than Teriyaki Madness. read more

I've been seeing their ads on social media but didn't realize they opened here in Vegas - it's at Lake Mead/Jones area, so not too far for me. They had a BOGO deal this weekend for their grand opening and I made it over late on Sunday. I was shocked that they were totally empty when they're literally giving away food. I ordered the spicy beef and the "don" bowls - portions are massive, each is more than enough for a full meal, the bag was heavy! The spicy beef was my pick, made with onions and jalapenos, it is actually spicy for once. The don was my husband and daughter's preferred bowl with the ginger and green onion and a more mild flavor. I do see the comparisons to Yoshinoya, and think this is better quality from the location I've tried. This is one of the only places I've seen where the teriyaki bowls come with a scoop of potato salad rather than vegetables. It was good just unexpected. The prices are fair for the portion - think $12/14/bowl. Yes, it's heavy on the rice, but the protein was adequate too. Truly don't understand the review that says the portion was small even though they weigh it. It looks like they pack delivery orders with the potato salad separate, I might request that if I go back since it makes reheating your meal a little tricky to scoop out the potato salad. Overall, the food is fresh made and a good value, nice addition to the area. Tip for the business: if you have katsu on the menu, you're going to need to stock katsu sauce. Didn't order this dish because they didn't have the sauce that goes with it. read more

As someone who moved to Las Vegas from Los Angeles, one of the things I missed most was Yoshinoya beef bowls (iykyk). I'm so glad I found Rice Bros Teriyaki's "the don" here in Vegas because honestly... it tastes even better than Yoshinoya. The beef bowl was super tender and flavorful, especially topped with ginger and shichimi togarashi. We also tried the teriyaki beef, chicken teriyaki, and chicken katsu... everything was really good. The chicken teriyaki was especially juicy and cooked perfectly. All the bowls come with a scoop of potato salad, and it was so creamy. It reminded me of the potato salad side dishes you get at Korean BBQ spots. They're currently in their soft opening, so we were able to get a free combo upgrade with either 3 crispy dumplings or miso soup, plus a fountain drink. Such a good deal. They also have housemade mini cookies and mini puffs for dessert. Both come in a 12-count for $5.99. I only tried the cookies so far (dark chocolate macadamia nut) and they were super good... soft, fresh, and not too sweet. Definitely worth grabbing! Service was welcoming and friendly. The food did take a little bit, but it was cooked fresh to order so it was totally understandable. The restaurant was clean, there were plenty of tables, and parking was easy. Stopped by for the first time and there was plenty of parking. The layout is nice open space and a lot of tables. The restrooms were very clean and well maintained. Marlon assisted us and was very nice. The whole staff helped us with checking ingredients for our food allergies and I appreciate that so much! I went with "The Don" which was the braised beef with ginger, green onions and rice. So good! Like Yoshinoya but bigger servings, more flavor and already has ginger. You can also choose the type of rice. I went with classic white rice. Comes with potato sald which was delicious as well. It ls on the sweeter side and is cold and creamy. A great lunch. A place with "rice" in the name should make sure to make good rice. Ordered the teriyaki chicken and my husband ordered the spicy chicken. Both bowls had DRY and HARD rice with way too much sauce. Don't get me started on the potato salad. YUCK! It was basically lumpy mashed potatoes with tons of mayo and green onion. They also need to get better forks and spoons. They are so flimsy and cheap, we couldn't even eat without them bending and dropping the food. Sad! read more

I seen this place a few times but always passed by it, today i went in, super clean area inside, the floor was super clean, along with tables but was slow as it seemed. Diego V is the one who charged my order and was amazing! super attentive and helpful since it was my first time ordering! I order the food to-go and no complaints the Katsu is super flavorful and crispy, and the steak is a bit salty but really nice and tender! From the customer service to the food, everything has always been on point. If you ask them, they'll tell you I eat here pretty often -- and I'll probably be back again today after work. Rice Bros just opened, and with any new restaurant there are always going to be a few kinks to work out. That's normal. No, I've tried this place once before I got the teriyaki chicken. It was very average but the potato salad was amazing so I wanted to try it again this time I got the Katsu chicken and the problems started right from the beginning as I sat there and waited for my order I seen the worker that was making my order cut his hand. He washed it off at the sink and then kept making my order no gloves nothing so immediately I was watching everything that he did from that point on then he prepared my food with no gloves, and with a cut on his hand, and the Cat chicken portion was a nice size he sliced up and played it, then proceeded to put sauce all over it. I asked is that how you do things all the time because I would've preferred my sauce on the side it seems like since the Katsu chicken is breaded to soak it in sauce. It's just gonna make it soggy now by the time I get home so I get home and it is very soggy just like I expected, and the sauce was horrible in my opinion not the kind of sauce that I would like on Katsu so now my food is un edible because I can't eat this with all this sauce that taste this bad on top of it. Now I've tried to support them because I met the owner the first time and he seems like a nice guy trying to start his business, but I just can't support when the product comes out like this and it taste this bad I've gave them two chances and I've been very unsatisfied both times and I will not be ever going back. read more

First of all it's not nothing close to yoshinoya lol 2nd the "don" meat need to be cooked a little more 3rd the portion i am so upset mine as well just gave me the bowl with rice and ginger nothing close to these pictures!
