I recently purchased the Holoson SCS-MOS from Gun Shack LLC, expecting a new product as advertised. However, upon receiving it, I was disappointed to find that the item was clearly used. The packaging was damaged, and there were noticeable signs of wear and tear on the item itself. This experience was extremely frustrating, as I had specifically chosen to buy from Gun Shack LLC because they claimed to sell new items. The fact that I received a used product not only reflects poorly on the store's quality control but also raises concerns about their honesty in their product descriptions. Furthermore, when I contacted customer service to address this issue, I was met with unhelpful responses and a lack of willingness to resolve the situation satisfactorily. Overall, I cannot recommend purchasing from Gun Shack LLC if you expect to receive new, undamaged products. My experience with them has been disappointing, and I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

What a GREAT place to shop and buy. Went to Nagel's twice trying to determine what I wanted and needed. Are you tired of being treated like a pain unless you are buying something?? Then the GUN SHACK is your new stop. It is MINE!! Great staff and very helpful. The day I went the place was packed and I still felt like I was important to them. After answering several questions I released the salesman to help others while I still looked around. Twice he came back to make sure I was ok and if I had any questions. On the second check I asked to look at another gun and told him I was a little embarrassed to ask a question. His response was perfect and led to a great conversation. 20 minutes later I knew exactly what I needed and wanted and all to happy to make the purchase. A friendly spot with a good selection of firearms. I was there for one particular item, but there was plenty of eye candy on the wall that will have me coming back in the future. They were a little bit light on certain accessories, but that is forgivable under the current circumstances. Both of the gentlemen that assisted me were very helpful (Tristan and ...?) and patiently answered all of my many, many questions. They both gave me, what I felt, were their honest personal recommendations without showing unsupported favoritism toward any particular brand/product. More importantly, they listened to what I was looking for, respected the price range I was looking in, and didn't try to up-sell me or throw in any unnecessary gimmicks. 10/10, would recommend. read more

Great Service. My father-in-law decided to give me and my son guns for our birthdays this year and we weren't quite sure what we wanted. We came on a Saturday relatively close to closing time. Tristan helped us immensely walking me and my son through the ins and outs of different makes, models and types. Never felt rushed, had solid answers and feedback on all the different manufacturers of guns and never felt pressured to buy one vs. the other. What I liked most was he was especially attentive to the needs of my son and treated him like any other buyer in the store regardless of age. I would buy from here again without hesitation. I could not get in touch with my gun club to get an FFL transfer on short notice so wanted to give them a try. I have been by several times on rides into the hill country but never stopped. I called them about the transfer and they told me exactly what I needed to do and it was a piece of cake from there. I was very impressed w/ the staff at just how friendly they all were and went over any questions and even took a box apart to check the type of Battery my item needed. After a bad experience at Bass Pro - the guy in the firearms department was very condescending and didn't seem to be inclined to help us at all - I was apprehensive to go anywhere else, but I'm so glad we went to Gun Shack. Tristan was knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and didn't make this mom feel like an idiot for choosing to conceal carry. He really tuned in to my needs and patiently answered all of our questions. Stopped by the other Saturday after work and was meet by Lee, Mark and Hunter. I always get a welcomed greeting. Just stopped in to look around and Lee pulled me over to the used gun section. I visited in July, they were great. I placed a firearm in layaway and when finally took it out in which I was given a friendly reminder about the layaway. I visited a range with this purchase, my wife even shot this purchase (Taurus p111). The pistol is a little heavy with some slack but not the shops issue just got to get used to it!
