Since the Detailer is at fault(negligence) they are responsible. It has been a little over a week, and he has not been provided any transportation(rental), or composition. On Wednesday Nov 27th he was provided a car rental for 20 days. Their(Detailer's insurance) has declared the vehicle as totaled. He will have to return the rental on Monday Dec 16th. Let me start with - this is not the Firestone I normally go to but this one is closer to my house. Booked an appointment to use my lifetime alignment. When I got to my appointment - the person at the desk informed me that there was another car before mine and they weren't sure why the person scheduling was double booking appointments. I was informed it would take at least 45 min to an hour and a half for the car in front of mine and then I'd need to wait two hours for mine. Double booking is a choice someone made knowing it would cost their customer experience. This isn't a situation where technicians were sick and couldn't make it in. This was a choice this Firestone made to double book customers KNOWING they did not have the manpower to make it work. I'm pretty confident they do this hoping most of their customers will just want to drop off so they can do the cars in order of who is waiting there vs elsewhere. An alignment shouldn't take 4 hours so I was not prepared to leave it. In fact - if you're aware someone is double booking appointments then why not call your customers so they do not waste their time!! If I had known BEFORE I drove to this location I wouldn't have even take the time to do this review. Y'all wasted my time and my gas. I left knowing that if I called the location in Pearland I frequent that I'd get the help needed. They were able to get my car in as soon as I got to there location and quoted me a reasonable amount of time for the work to be done. What's even crazier is they had 4-5 people in the waiting room and they were still able to service ALL of our cars despite this location not being able to help with 1 customer waiting.
