I caught 3 of the 4 nights with my brother and they were a blast. Such a thrill to see a band I've been following for two decades in the place where it all started for them. The club itself is a gem-- easy entry process, clean restrooms, not a bad spot in the house, perfect size venue for an active but intimate show. Friendly staff who appreciate the fans and the music. To top it all off-- incredibly cheap drinks. I'm talking about $3-$5 beers (the latter for tallboys), $6 or less well drinks, and almost nothing for more than $10. Coming from Nashville where even the diviest of music venues are starting to charge 2-3x those prices during shows, it was a revelation. The club is steps away from great record stores, bars, and places to grab a bite. Highly, highly recommended.

Including letting me bring all table linens, feather vase centerpieces, a cake, table decor, a welcome sign for outside, two paparazzi cardboard cutouts I made that had flashing camera bulbs, a full red carpet (inside the room) and two 10ft Oscar balloon statues that I made. The only downside was that the movie she chose (The Goonies) wasn't available due to licensing but we had a backup and she had a wonderful time watching one of her favorite movies in an entire theater with all of her friends! They even offer snack packages that include drink popcorn and small candy which was great! It was a great Hollywood style affair and we had an absolute blast!! The theater planner and staff we worked with was great very friendly and helpful. Would 100% plan a party here again or rent out one of their comfy and extremely clean theaters. We recently saw The Sheep Detectives there so have to include that as well such a cute and funny film! If you haven't seen a movie here you're missing out go treat yourself!!

It's a roomy place, especially when you consider both the roomy inside and the very roomy outside seating. It was a nice night, so we sat outside to enjoy the good weather. My suspicion is it is townie's place. When we went, I did not see any UGA kids. In other words, it's a place for grown ups for the most part. Pro-tip: Get there early for an evening show. During the day, it's mostly grown up townies and the occasional grown up tourist like me. At night, especially late night, it's PACKED with UGA kids, which it was when I ventured there on my first night in town on a Monday night after navigating the Atlanta airport and the long drive to Athens in a rental from there. The bartender on duty when I went during the day was great. She was friendly and knows her craft. Bartending is a lot more than pouring drinks. I will go so far as to say the pouring and making of drinks is almost incidental to the craft, which means maintaining a safe, fun, and welcoming atmosphere that makes people want to come back all while pouring and making drinks, running tabs, ringing up orders, handling old schoolers like me who pay and tip in cash as they go, washing glasses, and so forth. The prices are more than reasonable. For instance, during happy hour (2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.) my usual order of a Makers rocks and a good beer was $10.50. Off happy hour it would be $12.50, which is still more than reasonable in my experience. I will certainly stop in again when I return to Athens next year. Cheers!

If you pull your mask down to (heaven forbid) drink your drink at a bar and you don't IMMEDIATELY cover your face back up, you WILL be reprimanded by the bartender. Really would've liked this place but the bartender was extremely unpleasant. With all the options in Athens to have a drink, there is absolutely no reason to go here when they obviously do not respect their customers. The bartender seriously watches you like a hawk to pounce at the opportunity to be a jerk about your mask. It was really unsettling. If you're that scared of Covid, you might want to just shut your doors. Terrible experience and definitely will not be back. It was seriously ridiculous...
