Their bartenders know what they're talking about. They got a great collection of scotch, whiskeys and beers and it's pretty spacious inside. The only drawback to this place really is Parking but if you get creative, it's pretty good. If anything, it looks a little sketchy from the outside given the bars on the window, but it's not a sketchy place at all. Believe me when I say this. I stopped in on a Monday night for a nightcap. It was nice and quiet, which is exactly what I was looking for that particular evening, the following day being a travel day for me. As you can see from my pics, it's a nice little place. And I said, "I thought you guys were at max capacity." And he physically pushed me (a 118-lb girl) very hard. I got upset and he pushed me again and I yelled at him and he seemed ready to hit me. It's only because of a girl in line pulling me out of there that I think he didn't hurt me badly. I am never going back to 9ds. Do not go there. Everyone in line saw and was on my side. Unfortunately, my visit was disappointing for several reasons. I asked to sit outside because the weather was really nice. However, after being seated, I waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to take my order which turned out to be the same male host that greeted me. My server came to take my order and said I forgot about you. What made it more frustrating was that the restaurant was not particularly busy around 2:00 PM. Once my order was taken, I had to ask for basic things such as cutlery and more water. I ordered a burger and fries, and typically the server will ask how I would like the burger cooked, but that question was never asked. After finishing my meal, I eventually had to get up and go inside to pay my tab because my server never returned to the table. The food itself was fine, but the overall service and attention to detail really took away from the experience. When a restaurant comes highly recommended, expectations are naturally higher, and unfortunately, this visit did not live up to them. I hope this was simply an off day, but based on my experience, I left feeling underwhelmed.

No simple syrup at the bar, at least the one bartender tried and the drink was good with the substitute. There was a guy at the door taking money for a cover charge. Then you would have to pay to play pool, ridiculous! Bartenders need better clear cut rolls here, maybe a few more would help. I was supposedly third on a list for a table and it seems I was skipped as were a few others. Athens needs a real pool hall. This place has turned into a disaster from when I was younger.
