Jon Taffer would shut this bar down on how well the staff worked. Staff holding up orders to pour themselves drinks (any type, with or without alcohol). Pool tables need to be better numbered than pool ball lights kinda over a table. Furniture could stand to be In better shape. No simple syrup at the bar, at least the one bartender tried and the drink was good with the substitute. There was a guy at the door taking money for a cover charge. Then you would have to pay to play pool, ridiculous! Bartenders need better clear cut rolls here, maybe a few more would help. I was supposedly third on a list for a table and it seems I was skipped as were a few others. Athens needs a real pool hall. This place has turned into a disaster from when I was younger. read more

Fun bar atmosphere, lots of pool tables, plenty of dart lanes, and a full bar. I love the trivia on Tuesday nights. I recommend the Rail burger or the Sampler platter, both very good! The bartender and cook keep the place rolling!! read more

It was fun with playing pool, but the shots we're DEFINITELY watered down. They were watered down and still really expensive. The bartender was really nice, though, so that did help the rating, but those shots being watered down was bogus. read more

Great place to shoot pool, throw darts or play poker. They also have trivia night and maybe a band from time to time. Bartenders are awesome and it is little known that the building was originally a putt-putt facility. Large place, never completely packed and away from downtown Athens. read more

Nicest staff in the world! They have a deal on weekdays that you get free pool until 3 p.m. as long as you buy lunch. They have plenty of tables, including a snooker table in the back. The menu is pretty much fried food with a couple of salads and the tables are not maintained quite as well as they deserve. That being said, the staff is the nicest you'll ever meet and they at least have big tables! If you're looking for a place to shoot a few racks or just hang out, this is an affordable, fun place to make that happen. (They also have league nights on Monday night.) read more

Make sure you ask questions about everything. Had one drink that was $1.75 but when I went to cash out it was nearly $30. Apparently pool is $10 an hour but they will just give you the balls without informing you of this until you return them read more

I have been here twice. Never again . First thing walking in they were busy. We stood in a short line while watching the shorter brunette bartender take a shot with a guy she new. I looked for bar tricks in attempts to be professional and not consume alcohol while on the clock (since it is against the law), and no, she loved the shot . We were put on a waitlist for a pool table and told by the bartender that she would find us to let us know. 30 minutes later my SO went to get a drink and snack and happened to ask a different bartender about a table and she gave him one right away. So we played. The table next to us was incredibly disrespectful, obviously had well enough to drink. A couple of hours and After a small spat with them about attempting to use our expensive personal cues we decided it was time to leave. We approached the bar to check out and reported to the bartender waiting on us (a taller brunette) about the table next us and she immediately and professionally cut them off from alcohol which I appreciated. The woman's restroom was pretty nasty. Obvious plumbing issues as water was across the floors from the middle toilet seal leaking. The entire bar is in bad shape. Needs some TLC, new seating for most of theirs is extremely dirty, worn, cracked, and many pretty much had more foam than upholstery. The floor is covered in bad stains. The drinks are primarily over poured, many people overly drunk. Pool tables are very uneven and their bar cues are in really bad shape. Bartenders should not be drinking on the job. I love this place. For cheap food it actually is really good. They will also alter any food or drink to your liking. Prices are fair and really nice bartenders. Darts, pool, poker, I love it all! read more
