It is ALL put on the grieving family to do these things ...we wanted a hospice provider not someone else to take care of !! And they hire people from other countries that do NOT pay taxes !We were required to pay her cash so it was not tracked !! Do NOT have this company take care of your loved ones !! You want to say scam !! Total scam !! The owner of the company had the GALL to say he lengthened my fathers life when IN FACT after talking to the nursing staff this woman shortened it !! If I could put zero stars I would that's how upset I STILL am two years later !!

The stress of caring for Mom and working full time was overwhelming my sister (I live further away making it difficult for me to help as much). We interviewed three agencies and were instantly impressed with Brightstar. Jean, the owner was professional, open, and made us feel she was truly listening and understood our issues. One of the other agencies was over 30 minutes late for the initial interview (with no phone call). We were assigned Gwen. She is amazing! She is extraordinarily kind, patient, and reliable. I wish we could have her 7 days a week-she only works 3 of our days (11am-7pm). She has become mom's friend as well as caregiver. She ensures mom is stimulated mentally, physically active, fed, cared for, showered, etc. She brushes and curls her hair. She takes her for walks, rides in the car, reads with her, plays word games, and talks to her. The caregiver we have the other days of the week is also very kind, reliable and caring. She is a little less assertive than Gwen and lets Mom manipulate her into letteing her be lazy, but she also provides excellent care. We are now going to move to 7 day/week care and I hope that our secondary caregivers will be just like Gwen. They aren't the least expensive, but they are the best! Highly recommend.
