I took a power yoga class and was a little nervous Intel. I showed up and realized every class is welcoming of all levels. The studio was incredibly clean, including the yoga mat that I borrowed. If you forget your mat, they are available to rent. Props like yoga blocks, yoga, straps, blankets, and bolsters are available at no charge. This studio has a strong community atmosphere, and is not intimidating. I think this is an excellent place for people continuing their practice or just giving yoga a try for the first time.

Bathrooms are really well kept and there are always plenty of locker and cubby spaces. I also appreciate the many lounging areas, both inside and outside of the climbing areas. The layout is well thought out and you don't really feel crowded despite having lots of folks in the gym with you. I've also seen others arrive 15-20 minutes late and still be let in just not me. Front desk was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking basic empathy. There are far better, more professional studios around.

The space feels so serene between the "jungle wall" of the pole room, well-equipped locker room, and plants everywhere. The only class I've taken (a few times) is Pole 4 with Estee. I've had her as an instructor at a few other pole studios, so it was nice to have some level of familiarity with her teaching style. The weird details I like about Sankalpa are the microphone headset worn by the instructor and the water refill station next to the front desk. I've made a few friends at the studio who come here more often than I do. It's a little far of a drive for me (plus traffic) because of where I live, but if you can, definitely check out their variety of yoga, dance, and pole classes. Generally explore all the spots around Denver to experience different teaching styles and communities. Hooray for fitness!

The studios themselves have the best views out the windows which I think adds a lot to the class. My favorite class I've been is the heated class on Sundays with Chelsea and it always helps me feel ready for the week.
