This is a great park and a quiet neighborhood. There is a walking path that is about a third of a mile. Be careful if you go after rain because The Walking path gets muddy patches. The bathroom is sufficient. The field is huge, there are shade trees to picnic under, my children used to absolutely love playing on the toys. read more

Kids friendly park. Used to come here for Pokemon GO. There were adult soccer practices. In the morning, it's quiet and nice. Slides are a bit tall but our toddler loves them! read more

Love this park because have had a few play dates here and it's never been too crowded. The play structure is fun for the kids and there's a lot of open field to run around. My kids are 3 and 6, so they are at the right age to make this play structure fun for hours. There are some basketball hoops and also baseball diamond. It's not the biggest park around, but that's why our family likes coming here. There is a lot of street parking. Great park! read more

Great local park for kids, family, runners and sports persons. Cool place about this park is that is concealed from the major streets, so a bit more peaceful and calm than other parks in the area. I come for the trail located here and on occasion bring my sisters to play in the playground. Park is well maintained. It has just about everything that comes with a local park: a playground, baseball/softball field, basketball court, trail and plenty of open grassy areas with bathrooms and facilities for barbeque's. Definitely makes me a fan! Place is often filled with different sports teams throughout the seasons and always with walkers and joggers. If you use the trail or walk around the grass watch out for the occasional dog poop left behind by careless dog owners, that's the only bad side. read more

Love that this park is always empty. It has potential. My in laws and I were commenting on the vast open space which would be great for additional benches or picnic tables. People drive through the Main Street like idiots considering that it's a work with kids at play, but obviously wreck less drivers are not the parks fault. The play structure is great. A nice overhead shade would be great for when the summers get too hot to bear. My only complaint and the reasons I give this park 4 stars are the restrooms, but then again there are very few parks that have clean and well maintained restrooms. It's just hard to go to a park with filthy restrooms when you've got a toddler who's less than a year into potty training. read more

The grass is so green! Ive been looking for a nice park to play some basketball and/or soccer at. The park by my house isnt as nice as Guenser. I like how there is a big open field of green grass, perfect for kicking a soccer ball around or maybe just having a picnic. There is also a basketball court (only 1 tho) and a jungle gym! So kid friendly. I also really like the neighborhood that it is located in. It seems tucked away and hard to find and it also seems like a nice and safe neighborhood to live in. read more

Good neighborhood park that's enclosed so it mainly attracts locals and residents. The play structure is bigger than most parks and it's a fun place for kids. Bathrooms are as clean as park bathrooms can get but still no doors...hate that. read more

A great find on the way home from my daughter's school. The park is nestled far from any major streets, so it seems as though only the locals truly know about its whereabouts. The city of Torrance has done a great job with this park. The aspect of the park that stands out to me is the playground. I have a two-year-old and she absolutely loves the structure. The climbing parts can be extremely steep for a young one, but as long as you vigilantly monitor your child's every move, he/she will be fine. There are three "big-time" slides for the kids, which is always a plus. The swings are in good working order and the seats are not torn or tattered. There are a few large fields for the athletic enthusiasts as well as a full court basketball court (non-lit). The grass in and around the park can use some trimming. There are some dirt paths for people who enjoy walking. There are several park benches near the playground but no BBQ pits. I haven't used the restrooms yet, but I can't imagine a park bathroom being immaculately clean. read more

Lots of fond memories from this park, as I grew up just down the street in the 60's. Back in the day, the park had a recreation specialist (for lack of a better term) that used to keep us kids entertained during the summer months. We played caroms, did some crafts, made and raced our own pinewood derby cars. They played Babe Ruth Baseball in the ball field and had a concession stand that was built by neighbor Willie Webb. it was the "go to" place for the Arlington School kids, and we were blessed to have such a nice area. read more

Rarely will you find something free and clean to enjoy, when reviewers say free and clean. Secure and small enough to see from end to end, but well designed so on a Summer day you can still spread out your picnic blanket. I moved to a mobile home park at the end of the block with my dog. I usually walk at night because public parks are so crowded and my dog is terratorial. I liked G-Park so much I tried again during the day. Children with pirate dreams on ships of steal and chain laughed and waved imaginary swords. While parents sat watching, smiling calmly in the sun. There is something for everyone here. Basket Ball courts, Horseshoe pit, Softball field, jogging track, and play structure invite us to return. I grew up here and never knew it existed. G-Park may be one of the hidden treasures in the Torrance/Gardena area parks and recreation list of things to do. One drawback for me was dogs are not allowed off leash and sometimes dog owners do t clean up after their dog's mess. Im impressed that in a time where nothing our taxes pay for is ever really free or clean. These reviews were telling the truth. One more thing, I suggest you "Hurry before the city figures out their mistake " and charges admission. See you there! read more
