I was shopping here to buy a gift for a friend and as I stepped into the store a worker greeted me and passed me over and introduced me to Kierney a wonderful and soft spoken man worker who then asked what I was looking for. After explaining the white belt I was looking to buy and the size he swiftly showed me the product and I bought it. Professionalism is what i expect and Kierney blew my expectations as he knew what a customer like I needed and did not waste my time. Unfortunately I noted the side eyes and shady comments of other workers asking what I needed and I had to awkwardly explain that I was waiting for my product to be prepared. Terrible! I went ahead of time to make an appointment for alterations but when I arrived the store said I had no appointment. Not a big issue but... After the second appointment was made, the seamstress said the item would take 1 week. It has been almost 3 weeks with no update. I'm not sure if these employees are only focused on making commission but the employee that helped me didn't care about helping me he was just focused on selling. If I'm coming into a store I know what I want I just expect to get the correct item. I asked for a Belt in size 80 and the guy just wrapped up a size 70.... now I have to go back drive an hour to change the size. I also got a pair of shoes and and asked for ankle socks, he told me it Was ankle socks when in fact it was not. For a high end brand I would think you would focus on customer service more and less on commissions because you guys just look like money hungry staff. read more

Gucci: the only luxury brand name in the world that is used as an adjective. The doors to this store requires a salaried attendant as it is damn heavy and tedious to open, but no such expense is spared, and so I am left to opening it on my own, relying on my own motor functions and strength. This task progresses in difficulty as I age each day, a true story of tragedy. What the Hell, Gucci Toronto? I never had to open any of your doors at your other International locations! The dress shirts from here are all that I have ever been interested in. So finely stitched and seamed. Everything else in the men's department screams garish. The traveling accessories are priced similar to Louis Vuitton, which I see as a mistake in terms of competition. It is nowhere near as functional, which should logically yield a lower price. The designs of the merchandise never seem to actually change, but rearranged instead. Buckles slightly to the left, the ring clasp up a centimeter, shrink the logo by 1/3rd. The women's section is slightly more interesting. Often I will find an appropriate gift for a discerning friend. The same competition principle applies for their ladies footwear. I understand I am complaining about price in a place where price should be of no object, but the problem is that Gucci is actually just known for being expensive, which is the only reason why Gucci is used as an adjective. They do not specialize in any one genre of product. "My shit is 'Gucci', your shit is Wal-Mart. "Check out my 'Gucci' kit." "That hoe thinks she's so 'Gucci'." That doesn't make a brand competitive. Also, the fact that most of the brand's desirable merchandise cannot be found here because it's Canada, and there's never anything here. The decor here is among the best designed retail space found anywhere in Toronto. I can imagine shooting a short film here about some French guy drinking coffee and smoking a cigarette in black and white. Of course, you'd have to remove all the merchandise first. Maybe keep the shirts. Definitely cannot cast any of the staff here, they are nice but look far too rigid. I can't distinguish the sales staff from the security guard. In fact, they all look like haberdashing security guards. That's intimidating. If only they were put to better use; such as opening doors. read more

Terrible service. I acknowledge the responsibility of being an informed consumer and made sure I had all of my information correct before coming to the store to exchange a product. The Gucci online return/exchange policy clearly states that it is 30 days from the date the product is DELIVERED. Considering it takes 1 month to sometimes make the product - a 1 month from the date of purchase policy would not make sense. The product can also only be returned/exchanged at the flagship store (this location). 1 week after my product was delivered I considered exchanging it. The associate that I dealt with tried to quickly shut me down and send me off by stating that I was over my return policy. In reality I was correct and I had to validate my argument by providing the paper copy of the return policy that Gucci.com provided in my delievry. I did not appreciate the fact that the employee was so quick to assume. Considering this is a luxury retailer I believe customer service is of the utmost importance. This employees service from the very beginning was tragic. He also had poor people skills, was very awkward and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome! read more

I went into the store and have absolutely horrible service. Everyone treated me poorly aside from a very nice sales person named Koral, who in the end got the sale. There was a very bitchy and dim witted sales associate who was extremely snobby, didn't know much about the actual product, and walked around as if she owned the brick and mortar location. She took one look at my friend and I, then gave us attitude, made us wait around, and while she said she was helping us, went around to help other customers who were dressed to the nines. I regret spending 2700$ there and would rather buy online in the future. I would rather have no service than the service that I have experienced today. read more

Had a wonderful experience at the Gucci store on Bloor in June. My friend and I were offered champagne while we sat in the back salon while deciding which Web Boston to get. Our sales associated, Nick was very friendly. This store has a wonderful welcoming atmosphere. Probably my fave on Bloor. Worst experience with Bernie ever. Rude in person and on the phone. I called in asking to put a hold on two pairs of shoes which she barely had any knowledge about. After checking for me, she was very rude and pushy while telling me she had the shoes but I must come in by the end of the day and along with that she did not care to ask if I had any other inquiries. When I went in, she forgot my name after moments of me introducing myself and describing the products I got her to hold and then she complained about having too many holds when she got the wrong products and the wrong name the minute she came out. She had other customers to tend to but did not care to pay attention to me and when she did she did it in a very irritated manner. Never shopping with her again. read more

As a first time shopper in this location, I was invisible to all associates, when I came back for more accessories, 2 weeks after, I was treated with care by supervisor. Wow! Terrible customer service. Nicola and Katherine at the Bloor store in Toronto have a way of making you feel like dirt. I went to return a new bag that was wearing out. First, Katherine said "what do you want me to do? these bags are not made to last". Well Katherine, after spending over $800 you're telling me they are worthless? Well thank you for that tidbit of information as I will no longer be spending any money on a designer gucci bag EVER again. Then they gave me a gift card instead of an exchange which is all I wanted. When they handed over the gift card, Katherine and Nicola snickered and said "not like you can get anything in here for that price anyway". Katherine and Nicola, you are supposed to represent this brand and you did a horrible job. Second, you are probably getting paid minimum wage selling people bags so I would like to suggest being nicer as we are spending our hard earned cash in the store that employs you to sell bags.
