When you are Sawgrass Mills in the Colonade shops if it all possible, you have to go to Gucci! I was walking by on the way back to the parking garage, hands full of bags and done with my shopping when all of a sudden this big brawny man open the door and welcome me in I was in a very good mood. Why not I stepped inside and they invited me back to where the shoes are. I looked around and around. I tried on a pair of sandals. I really wasn't feeling anything talk to me. I ended up back in the front looking for a small bag. I found something very small, very classic that has a strap for my shoulder. It's my first Gucci. I am an excellent shopper whenever it comes to appliances mattresses food you name it. I do my research. I know my prices and I know what I'm buying. On this special day. I threw caution to the wind and just bought what I wanted and I did not care. I'm believing that because it's an outlet store. It was a decent price. Thank you to the security guard that opened the door and welcome me in. I'm going to think of you every time Gucci goes out with me this fall! To say that we went a little crazy in Gucci is an understatement! We were paired with the perfect salesperson Chantelle. There were so many options in the shoe, bag, clothing and accessory sections that I was like a kid in a candy store. Chantelle literally took her time showing us pieces and pointing out things we overlooked that were priced well. She was patient and very personable. And the value was insane! We actually stocked up and went back two days later for more pieces. The prices we just couldn't beat and the customer service experience made it that much better. There is a line to get in and once you're in your assigned a wrap to help and support you with any questions you may have regarding items. Our person was super helpful. OK Yelpers, I got trapped again at the Gucci store in Sawgrass Mills Outlet with the wife going on a shopping blitz. We walk in and are greeted by a door man and then a woman who indtroduces herself and advises us that she is assigned to personally assist in our shopping journey (not exactly in those words) but it was a friendly but professional greeting. Once I got home and changed purses I realized it was just way too heavy for me with the chain link straps. Back to the store I go. Ended up with a bag that was $300 less this time and found out that they do not do store credit or refunds. I had to find something to spend the $300 on - what a joke of a policy! You drop a mortgage payment on a bag and the treatment is embarrassing. Then you wait in line to check out for over 25 minutes. Disappointed with the policy and also the slow service but my sales person JJ is awesome. If you receive Shantelle, RUN OUT OF THE DOOR AS FAST AS YOU CAN. Not only did we wait hours to simply look at different options, the Manager was a complete moron and lacks any customer experience whatsoever. He is struggling to handle a store as much as keeping the hair he has left on his head. Not only did he proceed to yell at his customers in the store, he managed to use the phrase " This is an outlet store, you wont get the type of customer service here you want " more times than the actual bags they assisted us with looking at. Unfortunately we had an exchange so had to purchase another bag after two hours as they do not honor any refunds, otherwise the money would have been spent elsewhere. If you want to receive zero customer service, and a balding middle aged man with a main character complex berating you, this is the store for you. If you want actual customer service and not to wait two hours to look at 5 bags, i'd suggest anywhere else on Earth. This review is between 2 and 3 stars. First off, this place is a zoo filled with tourists and screaming children. I have yet to see a classy customer in here yet. I usually come in to browse without having expectations of purchasing. I really like Gucci's signature bags but lately their products have been too flashy and gaudy for my taste. I went in right after I completed my doctorate program to see if I can buy myself a luxury present for cheaper. I did find a nice bag but it was still $1600. A little too steep for someone without a job, putting everything on credit cards. I still browsed around but had my heart set on that bag. I went back about a month later to actually purchase it. It was no longer there. One of the sales associates informed me that once something is gone, they usually do not receive it again. She provided me her information and instructed me to text her that Sunday to see if their shipment had my bag. Sunday comes and I text her, inquiring if my bag came in. I did not receive a response. I was in the area again a couple weeks later and checked again. No such luck. I did do research and even though the outlet prices are still pretty steep, it is a lot cheaper than the retail stores. Once a high-end brand becomes an outlet they become too mainstream for my taste, but Gucci was the exception. I was thrilled to hear they even had an "outlet" when I was visiting Florida this past week. First, you're able to make an appointment online but we did know realize that till a few days before our visit. Most appointments are booked 2 weeks out. We actually came on a Saturday afternoon (crowds, I know!), but I was very impressed with how organized our experience was. My sweet husband waited in line (about 45 mins) while I went and shopped at other stores. Overall the line went fast and they assigned you an associate as soon as you walked through the door. Our associate was Shantelle and she was great! My husband was looking for a travel duffle bag, and although they did not have the style we wanted, she was able to give us her phone number so she can contact us when they get a new shipment in (which she said daily)! She helped us look for other bags, but was not a helicopter associate. She let us shop around, checked in on us and offered great advice. I ended up getting a med-large signature black bag - which was around $1,500. I honestly did not even ask for the original price because I was so happy with the purse, but I heard the outlet is 20-35% off original prices. T After I left I wish I ask because I believe the Soho purse I got is no longer being made in the large size (only the small which retails at $1,200 at Gucci today). Regardless, I was one happy girl! Lastly, during COVID times, the store is not over busy. They have a max capacity in store and also have hand sanitizing stations. I felt safe and was happy it was not crazy inside. Overall great experience. If you're looking for huge discounts here you won't get them - but if you love Gucci you must check this place out. Convinced whoever rates this store less than a four either got their credit card declined or is pressed for Gucci to answer the phone instead of just going in person. That brings me to my first point. They do NOT answer their phones. The phone doesn't even ring. Is this annoying? Sure. Can you hold that bag?" I wouldn't answer the phone either. But let me talk about why this store is so great. I went on Sunday around 12PM. No line to get in. I was immediately greeted and asked what I was in search of. This store looks like they carry a smaller collection of bags than the Palm Springs store but it's a great selection nonetheless. They had my Soho bag I've been eyeing for foreverrrr at an awesome price. My SA, Maria, was so friendly and helpful as were the rest of the staff. The store is well kept and everyone was being assisted. So as I mentioned earlier, I didn't have to wait in line HOWEVER, a large line appeared out of nowhere maybe ten minutes of me being in the store. They do this so they don't have hundreds of people bum rushing the place all at once. Customer service is a high priority and there's no way to adequately assist everyone if there's a million people in there. It just won't work. I see what others are saying about this store, however, I happen to have a very good shopping experience here. Or maybe it's good luck... As a South Florida native living in Central Florida its a treat to have more luxury brand options when visiting. The St. Augustine store closed a few years back, so I've been relying on salesmen from this store to keep me updated on new shipments and specials. With that said, some salespeople are more active in keeping their clients happy. I've recently switch my salesperson in hopes of getting more frequent emails about store events. My most recent visit was the morning of Black Friday. Normally I'll be there before the long lines form, but this year I got a late start. I was in line for about 30 minutes before the two security guards at the door let a handful of patrons in at a time. I didn't mind the wait considering select items were 30-50% off. Not too many items on sale, but just enough to make you come in. My birthday purchases can be worn for many years to come, so for that I'm happy I stopped by. My friend is a regular at the Gucci outlet in the Sawgrass Colonnade. She has the phone number of a sales person that she uses each time so she texted her in advance and we made an appointment. When we arrived, of course there was a line that wrapped around the side of the store. We walked right up to the attendant outside the door and let her know we had an appointment. We waited just a few moments while our sales person, Jay, was contacted and then were quickly ushered into the store. Jay was absolutely fabulous. She tended to our every need and whim, showing us pieces she knew would appease us just based on some of the items we were admiring. She bought several pieces from the back room that were not on the floor, including a beautiful limited edition bag that I wanted so badly but having purchased a vintage Gucci bag the day before I was looking for a matching wallet and had to stay focused! Jay literally showed me every wallet I liked until I found the perfect one. She also showed my friend several bags and was completely patient and accommodating with both of us, not to mention absolutely super friendly and sweet. Like I said, this was my first official Gucci purchase, and I can honestly say, I think I am now addicted! The store is beautiful, the service impeccable and the merchandise (bags, clothing, shoes and accessories) beautiful. It had been exactly 2 years since I was last here. I was surprised they totally revamped the inside so that it now looks like pretty much every Gucci (non outlet) boutique. I arrived about 5 minutes before the store opened and there were already a dozen people in the line waiting to go inside. Once the store opened, I waited about 5 more minutes before being allowed inside. I very much like that now they assign you a sales associate who only attends to you. Great change from my last visit. Before the pandemic, I shopped 3x a year at Gucci Puerto Banus (Marbella) Spain, and brought home fabulous clothing and shoes. Of course the sales associates at the outlet don't know your history. Daniel was super attentive. He quickly caught on to my shopping habits ("show me what you have in size xs t-shirts, please"). I had purchased a great hoodie in Spain in 2019, and had wanted the companion sweatshirt. OMG, they had it!!! I was thrilled. Then we moved on to jeans and once we established my size, he found a single pair that was 3x discounted (think $470 now & $1385 originally) that fit absolutely perfectly! After that, we moved to shoes and while I easily own 50 pair of Gucci dating back to the 1980's, I always find something I can't live without. Smartly, we shopped by what was in stock in my size. I got a great soft footbed with leather top pair of slides (now $285, previous $495). The only disappointment was they no longer had any drawstring backpacks. Gucci store in Sawgrass is located in the Colonnade section. Been here a bunch of times with Rabia J. Not sure if it's a good thing or bad, but Rabia can shop fast. We end up buying things fairly quickly. Outlet prices are 20-30 percent off regular price at most times. They have the prices marked or the employees are good at telling the retail price compared to outlet. This store seems to always update with each season. Also in this location, they have new inventory in the back so you get bags/wallets nicely wrapped up in dust bags and/or boxes. In men's section they have expanded their collection to more watches and sunglasses. This outlet is part of the Colonnade section of the mall. The store is not very big with many customers wanting to get this brand at a discounted price. They usually have a line outside when they have special promotions. In line, we waited about 10-15 minutes, for a Saturday evening it was not bad considering it was New Years weekend. My perspective is the line is made outside the store for not overcrowding the store as well as the theft aspect. Once inside the store, the women's section is on the left and men's is on the right. Bags/purses/clutches dominate the front of the store. While men's and women's shoes reside in the middle of the store. Towards the back are the clothes, scarves snd other garment pieces. The weekend I went on, there was select merchandise on 50 percent off retail price. (Other times the promotions have been 30 percent off certain things as well as no discounts additional occasionally as well.) For many foreign customers there was a confusion since they thought everything was on sale. Anyways, moving on all I could hear was people asking prices and why things were not discounted additionally. Helen helped me with a evening clutch I fell in love with. She was the pricing expert, everything I pointed out she knew the price of. Well, truth be told I fell in love with a few pairs of heels, the particular one I wanted was the last pair and was a bit dirty on the side. I decided not to get it, wish they had a non display pair. Shoes and heels get bought very quickly, so if you like something and it's your size, get it! Overall, decent selection, with some good sales if you find something you like. The classic items were few and far in between. I did see 2 items i liked but nothing to make me want to break the credit card out for. Edwin assured me that I could return the items if they didn't fit once I got home and tried the belt on with my pants. The belt was too small I went back to the store less than 24 hours and they would not allow me to make the return andddd on top of that would not let me in the store!! If you're used to shopping at Gucci, this will be very different experience. I highly recommend making an appointment or else you will wait a while before getting in. You can also wait in line before the store opens to try and get in as well. Their lines are a little disorganized. One line is for people with appointments and the other is for everyone else. There are no signs to designate which line is for who so if you pick the wrong one you could waste time standing in the wrong line. They don't have anyone even bothering to inform people in the lines. Once you get in it's a bit chaotic but I guess that's what you can expect for an outlet store. Even with the store limiting the amount of people in the store at once there is no social distancing if you're worried about that sort of thing. If you're trying to get something for a cheaper price and don't mind waiting then you can give it a go. read more

I have never been to a Gucci store before. This one is an outlet located at the sawgrass mall. I understand there are not many in the country. I get all my luxury goods from the stores online. First of all there was a line to get in the store. I think they only let certain amount of people at a time. I went on a Monday around four and the line was a bit long, I can only imagine on the weekend! Once in the store everything was nicely displayed. The busiest part of the store was the shoe area, but that is smaller and made worse by the fact that there are benches where people can sit, belts Hart here as well they have some nice ones with the classic double G buckle. Unfortunately they don't carry black at the outlet only gray, navy blue, and red I got myself a red one which I love. I saw a few purses that I like but because I don't buy a Gucci purse every other day I cannot buy something that is too flashy or seasonal. I wanted something more classic that I could wear day or night , But not the typical ones that everyone with a Gucci purse has (tall order) I have another two Gucci clutches that are the same style but in different colors. So I wanted something different. I would have love a Dionysus style but unfortunately they didn't have any that I liked. Speaking to one of the sales associates she actually told me they had one in the back that was on sale, she brought it for me to see and I fell in love. I would've liked it regardless of the fact that it was half off from the already discounted price so I snatched it up really quick! It also features the double G metal buckle. I really don't understand why the store has such low rating. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and courteous and knowledgeable. The sales associate who helped me was very nice and super fun. Gucci Sawgrass became a complete nightmare. Despite a recent store renovation, within just five seconds of stepping inside, you'll notice that the pleasing visual aesthetics are overshadowed by chaos. The store resembles a polished flea market, particularly towards the back, which is not only disorganized but also poses safety risks. The expectations placed on employees are absurd. If you had COVID, you were expected to meet your goals, especially in this location, interestingly enough every other store adjusted their associates' goals since they weren't physically present and able to perform. Write-ups are given left and right. The goals are astronomically high. While sick days are granted, you cannot use them, or they will assume that you are up to no good. Also, don't get sick and miss a day because you will not be able to make your goal! New rules and policies are improvised on the fly and are called "POLICY." Zero consistency! What's truly disturbing is the rampant favoritism within the workplace. Many associates feel they're being treated poorly, akin to being treated like "dogs." Unfortunately, there seems to be no recourse for the daily abuse endured. Incredibly, the inventory manager made headlines on channel 7 for assaulting a child who was left with a broken nose and eyes were swollen shot. This horrifying incident further adds to the store's tarnished reputation. Making matters worse, a manager who engaged in inappropriate conduct with an associate was not only promoted but also transferred. The store director's top priority is winning arguments. She lacks empathy, common sense, and promotes a very hostile place. She often creates scenarios in her head and makes atrocious accusations, thus demonstrating how delusional and malicious she is. Instead of scrutinizing associates' checking phones and client profiles, perhaps she should focus on thorough background checks, as her recent hire poses a significant asset protection risk. This environment has created elevated levels of stress and anxiety among the employees, highlighting her apparent disregard for their well-being and please don't bother to call HR because they are not going to help you. They are going to report back to her and she is just going retaliate against you since she is vindictive and her harassment will push you to resign. Her indifference extends to everyone but herself, and it's only a matter of time until she discards you and brings in "her people". read more

First and foremost I love purchasing from Gucci in different cities around the world. My wife and I flew to Fort Lauderdale after an amazing vacation, because we heard about the awesome deals at this Gucci location. My goal was to buy my wife a few items and perhaps buy myself something as well. That went out the window when i was literally followed around the store by different associates. They would only ask if we needed help after we blew their cover! Ironically enough my wife was wearing the purse and wallet i brought her for Christmas and i had on a pair of Gucci shades. I actually like this cause it's like a surprise. I pick up many different. I love having many different colors and different sizes in bags. This review is long overdue! I went to this Gucci outlet early December with my husband in search of a backpack for the holidays as a gift. I got there an hour early and was first in line (yay!) the line stretched around the corner and down the street 10 mins after I got there. They only allow a certain amount of people inside because obviously..COVID. They opened on the dot and the greeter was ready to assist right a away. I fell in love with this backpack and it was such an amazing price (compared to Gucci retail). My ONLY downfall was the employee helping us wasn't very attentive, he got distracted trying to make other sales (commission based). I had questions and really missed that personal one on one you get while shopping retail vs outlet but hey the discount definitely makes up for it!
