Gucci's excuse was that their staff called out and so were limited to only a handful of sales associates. This usually means that their manager is not well respected or treats her staff badly. She certainly didn't care that the customers had to wait outside in the oppressive heat. This place sucks especially when you consider how exceptional their now closed sibling was in Secaucus. First of all there's the line. Even if the store is literally empty, they make you wait. When I was there last week, there were literally 6 people in the store and I waited the better part of 20 minutes to get inside. Staff is polite but I feel bad for them because by the time you're let in, you're generally too pissed off to buy anything. And let's talk about what there is to buy. Clothing is arranged randomly without any sizing order. Granted, these are items that they're selling at a deep "discount" but I think it should be a bit easier to buy a track jacket that they've marked down from $3500 to $2300, not cheap by a long shot. I'm going to assume the store is merchandized by the same clueless manager who sets their entry policy, COVID is over. Businesses can no longer rely on scarcity to promote exclusivity. It's been awhile since I've been to Woodbury Common, but I remember the long lines for some of the luxury designer stores. Luckily, I came at opening on a Sunday and walked right in. I was greeted by several SAs as I browsed. I wasn't planning on buying anything, but I spotted a crossbody bag from a few seasons ago that I've been stalking on various online luxury consignment shops. An SA got me set up trying the bag on, and then let me know it was further reduced almost $300. I left the store to think about it, and when I got back a few hours later, there was a decent line outside. However, it only took about 20 minutes to be welcomed back in. The SA from earlier immediately greeted me and brought out the bag again. She was patient as I tried it on again and asked some follow up questions. I get in with a warm welcome and after look around I get an eyes on one of small wallet. Sale associate has present at the bag showcase. He show me couple item and some of them were in a boutique. I also ask about Double G buckle with snake but of course they don't have it. I wish if I'm lucky enough to find this item at outlet, Lol. My SA didn't push or rush me at all. I bought 2 pairs of shoes on August 14, 2022 Christmas Gifts for my 2 boys. I asked Marcus the sales manager if I can exchange for a different size if they are too big. He knew they were a Christmas gift because he asked me. He said of course you can. I went back on December 26th to exchange it for the right size. We were in line for 2 hours. Stephanie the manager was a the door letting people in. She asked me to see receipt, said been over 14 days you can't return. I explained to her what happened and asked to speak with Marcus. She also refused to allow me to go inside the store after standing in line for 2 hours. I told her I want to shop your not going to allow to go in. she got embarrassed and let me in, however, she informed the security to tell Marcus to go on break. I asked to speak with him she said no. I agree with many of the reviews below. The staff here are not always nice. But its an outlet, who knows what kind of shoppers they get everyday. Located just next to the "Grapevine Court", which is really the home of all high end labels in this outlet mall, Gucci is a must stop for most who shop high end. Maybe that's the issue with the staff, they don't feel like their store location is in the "prime real estate" area of the mall, which, frankly, its not, just on the other side of the line. But they have some nice product here on occasion, and if you are in the mall, always worth a glance to see what you may find. read more

Bought a bag last week . It was a Monday morning around 10am and it was empty . The staff was nice and security people were just doing their job. Most of any luxury stores that sell bags over $1700 should be very careful with customers bringing drinks inside. Those bags are leather and sensitive to water/drink damages. So I've been here 2x's in 1 week for 2 separate purchases the first being last Friday which was july 3rd. I came 20 mins before open and it was already a line outside, i stood in line for 45 mins. I know some stores had signs that stated 40 ppl allowed at one time but it seemed maybe 10 ppl were allowed to be in the store at once. This was the first store I visited when I got there. I didn't bother looking at their purses because the quality of its purse wasn't that good anymore. I saw these cute, simple shoes and they happened to be my size. I asked the lady to help me and she helped me half-assed. Gucci outlet is not fabulous It's not fabulous at all but shouldn't come as a surprise because it's an outlet. LOL, the bags were horrible, shoes were horrible, belts were horrible. I been to Woodbury Commons a few times and had always stop by the Gucci outlet just to take a look at their stuff. They seem to always have the same stuff in stock which makes me believe that the merchandise here was made specifically for the outlet. I find the practice to be very deceiving to the non-informed customer base. The quality is questionable as well but I can not speak any further on this since I have not purchase any items here. Another thing is the selection, if your a women looking for a regular Gucci canvas monogram type bag I guarantee that you will not find it here. All they have are black canvas stuff and if you do see the brown monogram here chances are the material will be that cheap plastic raincoat looking thing that nobody wants. I gave this place 3 stars because it does offer a chance for people who normally would not be able to afford to shop at the Gucci 5th av store a chance to owe a Gucci item or at least something that has Gucci on it. I believe that it's important for everybody to feel special no matter what your income level is or how much or little money you have in the bank. This Gucci is located in the Woodbury Common Outlets and is by far the worst Gucci I've ever been too! I seriously don't know if it's because the store was packed with people and they didn't have enough employees (they had about 10 people working), but it was just not acceptable! I wanted to know a price of a diamond ring and I happen to know they have a jewelry guide with all the price listings written inside. Why they didn't have this jewelry guide out for the customers to see, I don't know why. I asked for help, and I waited (seriously) 40 minutes to get the measly price of the ring. The Gucci outlets are usually a hit or a miss depending on the selection they receive that day. I was pretty lucky on the day that I went. I ended up buying a long wallet and a matching card holder. The sales lady told me those 2 items were literally on the floor for 10 minutes before I bought them. I didn't like the people who shopped there. Every one was so pushy. I understand people are eager to get their stuff, but that doesn't mean you can forget you manners people! I patiently waited for a few minutes to see the wallet and the card case from the glass case. When I finally was able to get the attention of the sales person to show me the items, a few Asian girls come huddle next to me. When I was looking at the items, they were basically staring at me to see when I would put them down. But, when I decided to keep them, they literally ripped them out of my hands telling me she wanted to look at it. So, being a nice person, I let them look at it and took it back. The sales person said they would hold onto the items while I shopped around the store, but that girl kept on telling the sales person she wanted the items if I decided not to purchase it. Seriously, how pushy can you be? Although yes it was a lot of money to drop on a wallet and a card case, but I guess the pushy Asian girl was the one of the deciding factors to make the purchase. No one answers the phone here. All voice mailboxes are full. I bought numerous items from this store 4 weeks ago, had them shipped, and have yet to receive. Can not talk to one person as I don't live in the area and all attempts on the phone are met with continuous ringing for all departments and voice mail boxes that are full for all departments as well.
