I highly recommend a weekend pilgrimage to the Eileen Fisher factory store in Woodbury (Thruway Exit 16). The staff, the knowledgeable and accommodating manager, Melanie, will be helpful, uncannily honest about what is right for you or not as you gather a season's worth of outfits for the cost of two dresses (including coupons) at a mall store. Because Eileen Fisher's clothes are classic, it will not matter if you purchase from last year's inventory. If your style is ultra colorful and trendy, this is not the store nor style for you. However, if you want outfits that will sustain the test of time in both quality and appearance, Eileen Fisher is the style for you.

Especially when there are marked down sales -- I shop that part of the store first. Most of the time the sales people are helpful in finding another size and giving you feedback on the fit of the clothes. The dressing rooms are roomy. Most recently I picked up two items that were marked down for final sale and there was a 30% mark down on top of that. It is a pleasant, easy store to shop in. There is a renew shop rack there too so bring your renew card!

Still there's a large number apparel products for men and women. There are few shoe aisles spread out by size. There's also accessories like bags, purses, watches, sunglasses, jewelry, home decor and travel bags, but most them had smaller number of varieties. As I explored the store, I noticed some really good sales. Regular sale was up to 70%. In the clearance section, it was 85% off. So, prices were excellent after applying the discounts. Staff members were available at the store, some were busy tidying up the products, and others were at the register. Despite the lesser number of products in some sections, overall it is a wonderful addition to the Woodbury commons's already impressive list of departmental outlet stores.

Nothing beats a little retail therapy! I don't come here as often as I used to, but somehow, every visit still feels special. This afternoon, I stopped by a few premium brand stores, and every shopping experience was wonderful. On top of that, I also ended up getting quite a few steps in. By the time I got back to my car, I realized how much better I felt. Sometimes, a little shopping, a lot of walking, and a familiar place are all you need to reset.

I normally don't go to this store however it was convenient and I had to go to another store in the mall so I figured I would suck it up and deal with the credit card harassment but after the lie, I will not be going back to this store. I will go out of my way to go to middletown or Poughkeepsie.

Thankfully, this time the weather was beautiful and we only waited in line for a matter of minutes! It's a pretty large store and we were really excited about the shoes. I scored a pair of ballet flats that were around 50 percent less than what you'd get them for normally. The bags didn't seem to be as marked down, but maybe they'll have a bigger sale closer to the holidays. The store associates were all very helpful and attentive. I'll absolutely be back the next time I visit the outlets!

However, I'm a fan of their ties - I love how at first glance they look like normal ties with a typical patten but as you look closer it gives way to something different. Whenever I make my way up to Woodbury Common I usually stop in here since they're sold at a discounted price vs. the retail stores. The ties are great, but shoes are the real backbone of the company. I have a party coming up, and since I could always use a new pair of shoes, I figured I would have a look at their selection during my latest Woodbury excursion. This Ferragamo store is large - merchandise is separated down the center with men's clothing on one side and women's clothing on the other; I made my way to the shoes to start browsing. It's always a gamble in the outlets because stock can be iffy and there are so many people shopping it's hard to get the attention of an associate; luckily, I did not have to wait long for someone to ask if I needed help. The first pair I was looking at wasn't in stock in my size, but the second one I chose was - after giving them a test run and a quick glance at the ties (you know, just in case), I made my way to checkout. Service was great, the same person who was helping me with the shoes was the one who rung me out - he was friendly and made the transaction seamless. Overall, I had a very smooth experience at Ferragamo. Staff was friendly, and I was able to snag a pair of shoes at the right price. While I'm not sure when I will be making another purchase from here, they will definitely be in my rotation of spots to browse whenever I'm at Woodbury Common.
