100 years of Gucci's heritage is now being celebrated in Shoreditch, London.
Opening as a leather luggage shop in 1921, the Gucci brand has gone through numerous transformations. Speaking to Elle, Michele described the centennial as 'an opportunity to bear witness to Gucci's eternal vitality that year after year, is reborn'. From Dapper Dan's impact popularising the double 'G' monogram, to Tom Ford's revival of the house through provocative collections, and finally, Michele's eccentric, geek-chic feminine style, the house has gone in separate directions to eventually reach the coherent Gucci 100 collection.
Thank you for the invite and we wish you another 100 Fabulous years.
