It's one of those second hand places that you have to root around in whereas i myself like it all to be organised for me so i can get stuck in straight away rather than breaking into a sweat rummaging through piles of crap searching for the beautiful dress that shouts out to me. I'm not saying there's a lot of crap in here as there are some gorgeous items but not everything is to my taste. They have a good selection of handbags, shoes and accessories too. They often have Chanel pieces in here as well as other big designer names and you can get them at great prices. Sometimes i find loads of things i like and some days i come away very disappointed having seen nothing but that's the nature of shopping and i love it.

I wasn't in a high chain kind of area so I couldn't just go with my old gift certificate and giving money wouldn't have looked like I cared. I saw Rosie Brown and it reminded me of my friend Anna, so I went in there to have a look. I didn't know where to start but the sales lady made suggestions for me and I looked around a bit at the perfume bottles (with no perfume in them..?) and the plates and a white bag with a bow. My friend's into this whole retro style thing and is not one to wear real fur. Once I saw this fake fur neck wrap, I knew it was the right thing because it looked real. I also bought an empty perfume bottle because the shopkeeper said she might like that. She really did. Funny.

It's a little twee shop in Crouch End, perfectly lovely and overpriced tat for the residents of the area. You know - candles, cushions, scarves, incense and, at the back, "antiques" or, as I prefer calling it, junk! No, I'm being harsh - there are some cool posters and when I was last in they had a brilliant old map of the world and an old-fashioned radio (not in working condition). The prices of the items, however, leave a lot to be desired, but perhaps those that choose to shop here have more money than sense. I'm pretty sure that's the case, anyway. Mange tout!

Lots of interesting metal lockers, cubbies, school chairs, etc. Much of it is expensive, but we have found some very nice items here. We have also had very good interactions with the owner.
