Still, I appreciated being out with friends. One thing I really liked was the hamburger stand behind the bar--the guy working it was super nice, which made the experience even better. As with any dive bar, there's always some interesting people-watching, and this night definitely delivered. At one point, an angry wife came in yelling at her husband... so yeah, never a dull moment.I was also kind of impressed with myself for staying out that late. Instead of handling things professionally, the situation escalated for no reason. The manager ended up asking me to leave, even though I had done absolutely nothing wrong. I wasn't causing a scene, bothering anyone, or breaking any rules. It felt personal and unnecessary. Guests should be able to enjoy (or not enjoy) music without being targeted or removed.
