Been dealing with this company since December. Supposed to do my siding, shutters and skirting but still haven't completed any. They put up 90% of the siding and about 80% of the skirting and no shutters. They cut through my electrical 3 times while replacing sheathing before they put up siding. Would not have fixed it had my husband not been home to make them. Had to argue to have rotten sheathing even replaced, they wanted to Tyvek over it. They left trash, building debris, cigarette butts and empty packs all over my porch and yard. I have not heard from them in over a week despite calling and texting 3 different numbers multiple times. Save yourself the headache I have experienced, do NOT hire this company.

From start to finish, the entire process was professional, honest, and stress-free. Adam, part of a father-and-son team with a highly experienced long-term crew, made sure the job was done right. What really set them apart was their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond. They included a wind mitigation inspection at no additional cost, which will help me qualify for insurance discounts and credits on my new roof. They also repainted my chimney to match the trim, free of charge--services that weren't expected but were greatly appreciated. The workmanship is excellent, the crew was hardworking and respectful, and the property was left clean when the job was completed. If you're looking for a roofing company that delivers quality work, stands behind its service, and genuinely cares about its customers, I highly recommend Blackwater Roofing. The best part is that Blackwater Roofing used top-rated shingles (Owens Corning) and underlayment, yet were still able to outbid all other estimates I received by a few thousand dollars...Amazing! Thank you, Adam and the entire Blackwater Roofing team, for an outstanding job!

I have what appears to be a roof leak at the area of my fireplace. Due to almost constant rain in last couple weeks the company is backed up & I'm nervous about waiting 2 weeks to get the problem remedied. I spoke w/ ? April (not certain) who was very informative, took the time to look up when my roof was last done (this is county info) & even tried to locate the name of the company who did last work on it. Because I'm in a time crunch I may not be able to use this company but will update this review if Here's the update- downgraded company from a 5 star to a 3. Why? I had a gentleman come out, give an assessment that was semi-similar to the two I already had then had to put up with relentless up- selling to preventative stuff on my 5 year old roof. The estimate was by far the most expensive but I will give them this- professional communication, very professional typed up estimate w/ pics. If you have an endless supply of money and up- selling like crazy doesn't bother you then go with them. I took a pass.
