Although this manufacturing defect was in no way caused by Storm Master, the staff at Storm Master went above and beyond in assisting me in filing a claim against the reluctant shingle manufacturer. They were willing to stand behind the product which they sold and installed even when the company which made the shingles did not. This kind of exceptional customer service well after the sale is not prevalent from what I've seen from other roofing contractors, thus the 5-star rating.

Robert Baldwin of KPost, however, advised me to escalate my claim by invoking an appraisal process in my policy that required a re-inspection with an independent adjuster. Long story short, USAA changed its decision and agreed to pay out for a new roof, saving me $15k. USAA was very non-responsive and difficult but Robert kept pressing over six months until we got them to act. Then when it was time to replace the roof, his team did an excellent and professional job under a tight timeline. Robert and KPost will definitely get my business in the future. I highly recommend them.

The leaves had collected in a section over the garage causing water to back up under the shingles which caused water to run off into the garage. Not only did Daniel give me an estimate to fix the problem he got up on the roof with his blower and blew the leaves off so, if it rains again, I will know for sure that the problem was the result of the leaves and not hail damage. I thought for sure Daniel was going to charge me something instead he said no charge. Thanks, Daniel

After a fairly rainy season, we had water damage inside our family room appearing along the seam…read morewhere the wall connected to the vaulted ceiling. It was a fairly long seam developing a crack, perhaps 8', but it did seem to us that the problem was originating at the top of the seam with the water running down the sloped ceiling. We had one company out and despite inspection of the roof they weren't able to pinpoint the issue... leaving us with one estimate to fix random "potential" sources of the problem and another quote to redo that entire side of the roof (even tho the shingles still had plenty of life time remaining). We called Ray for a second opinion. His inspection confirmed the roof is still good but revealed one shingle nail which had come loose, allowing rain to get under the shingle, etc. and run down the ceiling seam thanks to gravity. He patched up the bad spot in the shingle for very minimal cost. We waited three weeks, through some more rain, and confirmed that the drywall which was being damaged was now continually dry. Problem fixed! Ray then came out and repaired the damaged drywall seam between the wall and ceiling for very minimal cost. Ray is a gifted workman and honorable gentleman. Highly recommend.
