Everyone says "oh, good luck, they don't have trucks with 8' beds anymore", "4WD with low miles AND 8' bed, you won't find one". I contacted Ken at Guaranty and gave him a list of what I'm looking for in a truck. In hindsight I see I was a bit... strong(?) in my list of demands.... He pulled it off though! Yes, there were compromises on both sides, but in short order I was test driving one. My gut told me these people could make it work, I never bothered to contact any other dealer. Guaranty had agreed to let me have my mechanic do a vehicle inspection. It came back without any issues whatsoever, my mechanic recommended I buy it based on the quality and condition. At this point Ken was helping another client so he introduced me to his partner Oliver. Well, we sat down with him and we hammered out the details of the transaction. I know I was a bit overboard, but Oliver handled it like a trooper and in the end, a very satisfactory deal was negotiated and we signed! I am now the proud papa of a 2022 SuperDuty F350, Gas, 4WD, Full Size Bed, Crew Cab with incredible mileage, not even broken in yet! I feel like a kid, can't quit looking at it! Loved it made an offer and waited for loan approval. 4hrs later (while waiting with my 8 year old) they told me I'd likely hear back from them tomorrow. I asked them, "are you sure tomorrow is a holiday". Being untrustworthy they told me, " do not to worry about it and we will set the car aside for you" 2/16 Called multiple times about the status of the deal. I was told multiple times that the finance department was working on my loan. Called later that evening and was told, "sorry since it's a holiday the finance department couldn't process your loan. 2/17 Called and spoke with someone who told me the car sold but I was approved for a loan. So I should just pick a different car and that the car I wanted has sold. This place is an absolute dumpster fire and completely wasted me and my daughter's time. I would also add the inside of the dealership is absolutely filthy which should have been my sign to turn around. I wish I would have.
