I didn't have a coupon and they found one for me which was very nice. I think it was a great value for my money. Definitely coming back in the future for all of my other oil changes.

Let me start by saying thanks for the chuckle. I am a teacher and public servant and yesterday I put in a 12 hour work day where I rarely sat in one location and was constantly mobile. My rest is valuable. Upon reflection, NO I won't be by Tuesday which is your earliest convenience so you can scan my car for more issues that your team has caused. I will go to my trusted mechanic and never use Valvoline again. In fact I have already begun warning my friends of your incompetent and rude services. I thought the manager was professional but his cute giggle after my call explaining I could not make it this morning and would be in this afternoon sealed the deal. Arrogance, rude, ridiculous arrogance. I have used this location for upward of 20 years not consistently but whenever I am in the neighborhood and need an oil change. The new guard is young, and barely speak. Bark orders at you from the moment you roll in, and then do the classic up-sell. They up-sold me an air filter on April 17th and I bit. The next day my car was jerking (old manager boy let me know that there is a difference between jerking and shaking as if that were super critical to me and my situation.) I am a teacher and have few days off of luxury. I took a day to run errands and returned to Valvoline to let them know that something was wrong. Alas they showed my the air filter box they had broken. They scrambled and scratched heads, called manager. I sat at their place for more than two hours of my day. They finally told me they would do a temporary fix for my car and the part would be in four days later. The fix. The fix was in a Home Depot bag on my engine. Tape. They taped my damaged air box together. It jerked and shook more as per my laments understanding of my car. I felt concerned this could further damage my engine. I contacted corporate and have yet to hear from them either. Taped my air filter box. Tape. I could have had my early elementary school children do the temporary fix. I got the call for the part in two days. Maybe corporate called them to repair this. Who knows? I've communicated with 0 professionals. They replaced the filter with a new one (they showed me the box.) I drove away and low and behold, when it idles it JERKS. I came back. A young mechanic tells me that's what happens when a vehicle has over 100,000 miles on it. What a laugh. My vehicle has about 67,000 miles on it and was fine before any Valvoline folks laid their hands on it. Old manager comes on out and drives it. That's when my wording was corrected. Sir, my wording doesn't matter. Fix what you broke. Yep, it's jerking. He pokes around, I stand around, he unscrews, etc, etc, etc. Says he needs a scanner to check. Tells me to come in tomorrow. I am a teacher. I have 0 tomorrows. Tells me to come in 7-8am Saturday. I worked over a twelve hour shift yesterday. I need my car, I need it to work well, and you need to meet my timeline because my car had 0 issues until your service center. ZERO. I call to come in this afternoon. He won't be there. As a manager you should probably be there to fix what your team broke, to make right, to rectify. These mechanics and this manager seem to give no cares about the consumer. The Valvoline office is obviously the same. I am very curious to see what my solid and steadfast mechanic will tell me you all did to my car. Not you, not Tuesday and not ever. I will use my mechanic for my oil changes. Not this crew. If you like to gamble on the health of your vehicle, go to them for a quick change. Otherwise use someone with integrity.

When she tries to tell you this, she is told by the advisor that the people at AutoZone don't know anything. So, thinking you might make it right, she takes it back to you, for you to give her another estimate for another $1000.00 dollars to replace the rear heater core, something your first $3100.00 dollar estimate said you already replaced? When she asks about it, the responding text message says ,"Im sorry to hear that we will bring the car to the front for pickup". I don't even want to mention the fact that when asked about the upsale of the tune up, she declined, but the "repairs" were done anyway, and charged for, but i think that information is relevant to this cause. Also, how do you tell her you use only Mopar parts. "Dodge parts are more expensive, but that's what we use." and then give an estimate with aftermarket part numbers? I sure hope we don't have any trouble with the transmission in the future, as you had to remove it to change out a coolant hose. Lord only knows what excuse we'll get on that. All in all, I thought she finally found a place to trust with her vehicles, turns out we were way wrong! I do understand this was a moderately difficult job to do, and I do sympathize with that to an extent. I know what it is like to order parts and get them in damaged and have no control over that. The lack of professionalism and the feeling of her being taken advantage of is what I don't understand. Please enlighten me. Definitely don't recommend this place at all. If I could leave no stars I would. Don't bring your vehicle here, unless you want to buy everything twice and for twice what it should cost. To say all that, the job is paid for in full. No money is owed. We will not be returning to this facility, not even for a complimentary oil change/service.(That we were not offered.) "...the duration of time at our shop was a little over 2 hours..."…read more I arrived at 0710, and paid at 0953 - that's 2 hours and 43 minutes - That's much closer to 3 than 2. "...you signed off requesting our Courtesy Inspection..." I didn't ask for it, but you put it on the RO anyway - understood. Why take one hour when you can take three, right? "...we recommended maintenance items based on visual inspections..." So your technician couldn't tell that my oil filter was literally just a few days old, and that my trans pan has a drain-plug that none of the originals came with (kinda' hard to miss), or that it's newer by a minimum of 18 years and has at least 150K fewer miles under it than all the surrounding parts? He also missed that while factory plug wires are red, mine are blue? Either your tech failed the visual inspection miserably, or you just went with the: "...along with mileage interval recommendations..." part. So does this mean that the tech can't identify brand new vs. 19 year old parts, or is the mistake in recommending service that has obviously been performed by the service advisor who decided that it doesn't matter whether service is actually due, so long as it goes on the bill? In accordance with your excuse, the only real reasons you have left to choose from are: ignorance, incompetence, or dishonesty. Oof. "We are obligated to provide you with this information for the safety of your vehicle, yourself, and everybody else on the road..." My ball-joins, bushings, pads/rotors, shocks, hubs, etc. will be replaced during my upcoming front-end rebuild, (the one that I never got an inclusive estimate for,) since she's coming up on her 200K birthday, and that's about as much as you can ask for from these components. However, if you mean to imply that "for everyone's safety" you're going to recommend ~$3K of unnecessary services, well that tracks with what I said about exaggerating the urgency of service. It's a poor tactic. Still, I'll give credit where credit is due. If you had looked over the front-end, and not mentioned the brakes needing attention, that would be concerning. "Our Service Advisor went over our findings with you in great detail, and a written estimate was provided to you..." Yes, for many jobs that I didn't ask for, and not a single all-inclusive job that I needed done. My trust in this shop has been broken, so I'm not convinced that the diagnosis is correct, and since I already planned on replacing the recommended parts anyway, my time & money has been wasted at your shop. Truthfully, I'm not angry at you or your business. All-in-all I paid $95 to get another vote on one of the two things that I thought might be the problem. I don't like it that it took so long, and with all the extras piled on, I don't feel like the actual issue got enough attention to have confidence in your diagnosis, but what I'd really hope for is improvement so that customers aren't wasting their money, and shops aren't prioritizing profit over people - When done right, the two go hand-in-hand, because happy customers always come back. No hate here - just a hope to see everyone doing better. I'll leave it there. Peace, Cotton

Absolutely unacceptable experience at Christian Brothers Automotive…read more I walked in as a first-time customer expecting a normal interaction, and instead was immediately met with hostility. An employee aggressively told me to "get out" and said they didn't want my business before I could even say a word. When I tried to calmly explain that they might be confusing me with someone else, he cut me off, told me to "stfu," and continued speaking to me in an extremely disrespectful and degrading way. There was zero professionalism, zero accountability, and no attempt to understand the situation. I was treated like I had done something wrong just for walking through the door. This wasn't just bad customer service--it was outright hostile behavior. If this is how they treat new customers, that says everything you need to know about how this place is run. I will be taking this further with corporate because no one should be spoken to or treated this way at any business. Avoid this location unless you're okay being disrespected for no reason.
