My garage door was not closing all the way down. I had to leave my garage unlocked and halfway opened at night. I contacted Killeen Overhead, and they told me that they would probably be able to come and do an evaluation of what needed to be prepared. I have used them for years, and I was not happy with having to wait 4 to 5 days for them to come out and check me garage door. I just want to say that my garage door opener when on the blink. I contacted "Guaranteed Garage Doors" and the owner replied promptly and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Upon his arrival we discussed the issue and I demonstrated what was happening. He checked and inspected the unit. He informed that the gear and shaft were going out and that a new unit would cost about $429.00. I let him know I had a home warranty policy with AHS. I called after my elderly parents had used someone else and the person wouldn't respond to the request that they had a problem. The initial problem with the other company wasn't that bad, but then a cable broke trapping the car in the garage.
