Do not take your vehicle to Guaranteed Auto on White Settlement Rd. I was a loyal customer there for over 8 years until after the old owners left, then a new manager & new service tech came in. I took my van in for an oil change less than 3 weeks ago, nothing else was wrong with my van since I take care of any little thing, no crack in my oil housing, no leaks. As soon as I left it leaked a little but didn't think it was a huge deal. This morning there was a huge amount of oil under my car in the garage, took it back in and their story changed several times. First they tried to say it's wear and tear which is common, I've never had this issue with any vehicle. Then they tried to say it could be the weather, however this only happened after they changed my oil. While I was on the phone with a dealership service manager, Guaranteed's new guy - who just told me and my sis-in-law no one in the shop is new - tried to say the oil housing was a recalled part. The dealer said no, those aren't recalled and the dealer said if the housing wasn't damaged before but immediately after the oil change then most likely it was the shop's fault. Took my van to another shop in WS and they said yeah, if the housing wasn't cracked and just happened after G.A. Express changed the oil when they tightened the housing. It's costing me $840. Never going back, make sure everyone knows not to go now that they've got new service techs/management. I have the oil change receipt, no cracks or any issues were found before the oil change and a third shop has now inspected my engine and found Guaranteed Auto to be at fault 100%. Now they're having friends and family create fake 5 star reviews on Google to help boost their business, despite there being at least 9 customer complaints similar to mine on social media platforms. read more

I've lived in white settlement for 3 years and just found this hidden gem! Misty, who works the front counter, is honestly one of the nicest people I've ever met. So friendly. So outgoing. So reasonably priced. I went in for an oil change in the middle of the day twice in the same week for both of our vehicles and they had me in and out in 20 min. Don't pass this place buy! I took it to a shop Xmas week in Arlington because this shop was closed for the week of the holidays. They quoted me about $850 to replace valve, oil pan and oil filter gaskets. Guaranteed today is almost positively it's only the oil filter gasket and it's costing me $120. I've been coming here for 10 years and they're GREAT. I have been coming here about 8 years . They have new release movie always playing , free WiFi, ice cream and drinks. Though you won't need many distractions because they are really efficient. I have had a few repairs but mainly get my maintenance done here. They have the most reasonable prices . Staff is always friendly and they actually remember you. Highly recommend them. read more

Great service here. They are up front about cost and time to service. I have been to more than a few places that try to take advantage of women and thier perceived ignorance of cars. This place does not do that at all in my experience. I would suggest going here. I met another customer while there and she had been nothing but good to say about the place. Great customer service! I went here today to get a oil change as i always do. We had miscommunication and they thought I wanted a oil change and inspection I did talk about inspection but did not need one at the moment cuz I knew I needed to get a few repairs in order for my check engine light to come off first and then beable to pass inspection, to make a long story short we had a brief conversation about it and I was immediately refunded and only charged for oil change as I wanted,l was immediately accommodated great customer service as usual! read more

Run, don't walk away from this place. Gone downhill tremendously over the past couple of years. I think they have new ownership. Old owners were great, not so the new owners. First issue had was with them only using one source for parts. Told us it would be a couple of days for a water pump on a 2014 Malibu. I found this hard to believe and needed the car much quicker. Called up a local Chevy dealer and they had several in stock. Drove over, bought it, had Guaranteed install it. No harm, no foul. Second issue was with a used air conditioner compressor they installed(without telling us it was going to be rebuilt) for a different car we have. It didn't work from the second we drove off and made me wonder if they even tested it before they called us. So they found another compressor and put that one in. The third and final strike was their last bait and switch. Wifes car needed new brake pads. Rotors are fine. They quoted us a price for brake pads on the phone. We get the car in and they call us and tell us it will be over twice as much because we also need new rotors as well because new pads need to be installed together with new rotors or the new brakes will squeak and that new pads won't 'mold' to the new rotors. Complete and utter b.s. And if that's the case, why didn't they tell us on the phone that you have to install new rotors and pads at the same time instead of using the bait and switch and quoting us just a brake pad price until we arrive, then saying new rotors should be installed too? Either moisture on brakes, a wear clip grinding into the rotor, or cheap pads are the only 3 reasons brakes squeak. And yes, brake pads will mold into whatever shape the rotor is in. So sorry Guaranteed, you've gone downhill. It's now been 3 strikes and you're out....for good. EDIT: It gets worse. I get the car home after buying brake pads. Take the wheel off and the pads and rotor is fine! Didn't need new brakes at all. These scumbags were just going to take advantage of us! Freakin' crooks! read more
